We liked Suzie's warm welcome, the fresh smell of cleanliness mixed with warm scent of freshly baked pastries. The hot tub is big and really hot, could have an awesome plunge even in a really bad weather. We loved the big comfy bed, fragranced towels and bedlinen. The bathtub has a good size, the shower cubicle is spacious, with thermostatic tap and plenty of hot water, the whole design is lovely, home feeling with commercial practicality. The kitchenette has plenty of facilities, but there are lots of affordable places to eat or ordering food too. The air was fresh, crispy, we enjoyed, felt sorry not having time for a longer stay.

We couldn't find any, the entire property is very well looked after, with lots of thoughts to make it comfortable.

Friendly host family, Suzie and her daughters were especially helpful. We loved the hot tub and animals. The location was perfect for my daughter and her children, recovering from a long haul flight, as we needed somewhere quiet, self contained, private but with space around it.

The kitchenette was minimally equipped with only crockery and cutlery for 4. A few basics like a salad bowl, sharp knife, clingfilm, salt and pepper would be useful additions.

Very secluded and quiet. Surrounded by animals and the peacocks were fascinating. Hot tub was a welcome relaxing addition to our stay too. The food at the Selsey Arms was delicious Suzie was a fantastic host and never bothered us after showing us the layout. Actually had find Suzie say goodbye in fact Would fully recommend to anyone who wants a quiet chilled romantic weekend

Not much to fault but if you want something nearer to lively places, it’s probably not it

It was a very nice stay. We were welcomed at arrival and got a good rundown on the cabin incl the hot tub. We managed to order superb Indian takeaway so we could stay in the cabin whole evening. The hot tub experience was awwesome. We been cyckling for 4 days so we needed a good bath. Bedroom was compact but bed comfy. Bathroom was large and nice!

We loved it but just some small things...the fan in the bedroom was impossible to get going. Maybe it was just for decoration. It was a hot night so normally it would not be needed. We thought the price was a little too steep compared to other places we stayed during our trip in South Downs but not too expensive.

Secluded location with a few pubs and restaurants within easy driving reach. We decided to try one that Suzie mentioned and had a lovely meal at The White Lion. Appreciated the welcome we had (from the cats too) to run through everything, esp operating the hot tub. The cabin is very comfortable with great amenities and some thoughtful touches, especially the plastic glasses for hot tub use! Lovely breakfast, plentiful fruit, juice, pastries and great choice of tea and coffee. We greatly enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed more than one night, thank you.

Only the weather but not really the fault of the owner!

It was in a lovely setting and the quality of the cabin was excellent.

Only 1 small bit of constructive criticism and it dosent warrant downgrading the score. The microwave has an oven function but there wasn’t a dish suitable to be used, this would have been a nice to have. We used the BBQ which was big enough for 2 of us but for 4 may be a little small. We had absolutely no complaints though and this is written in the spirit of helping the owners to make a small and welcome tweak.

The location was perfect for what we needed. Suzie was always close to hand and very helpful and her daughters were delightful. A lovely breakfast tray with freshly baked pastries, cereal, fruit, milk and fresh juice. Suzie also took the time before we left to show us her baby peacocks.

The area around the cabin and hot tub could have been tidier, i.e. grass and trees cut back. (and perhaps less leaves in the hot tub!!)

Lovely detached cabin, with all the amenities for a short trip and nicely decorated. Everything was very clean and plenty of towels. The blankets were a nice addition, and we loved meeting the family cats and dogs!

Not as secluded as I think it looks from the photos, it is between the owner's house and office. The hot tub is across the path the owner uses to get in and out of the house, and is open to this path. The owners are lovely so I wasn't worried about this, but it's not quite as private as I expected.

Great location supermarkets not far away & not far for us to travel to family wedding

There was nothing I didn’t like everything met my expectations. The only one thing I would say is perhaps consider including the hot tub in the price?

our stay was amazing and we really didn’t want to leave. inside lodge is cosy, clean and comfortable. all rooms well designed and bathroom is beautiful. outside is lovely and relaxing and the farm pets was an added bonus. we made friends with their 2 dogs and the cat and made my daughter very happy. also had peacocks and sheep there which was nice. we enjoyed the hot tub was very relaxing especially with the lights on at night and my daughter was enjoying the children play swing and trampoline. overall the whole stay was incredible and will definitely be returning one day but with a longer stay. the lady who greeted us was friendly and welcoming. thank you for letting us stay at your place
