Love this magical hotel that is closest in proximity to Hildegard's Abbey. I do wish there was a small refrigerator in the room/water for tea, but that's okay. The staff was very helpful and I LOVED my room with a clear view of the Abbey! Beautiful! The food was great in the restaurant. It is a bit off the beaten path for those wanting to be closer to the main street/shops, etc. BUT I LOVED that. I walked miles which was welcomed and beneficial! :)

That the "office" check-in area was closed/locked one early morning when I got up and wanted coffee, help with Taxi. This area is located in the restaurant. Not a separate area. FYI.

Very nice old building, a bit of a hike to the city center (uphill/downhill ca. 15 mins) but you can reach all the tourist attractions by foot, incl. Eibingen Abbey and it is a good starting point for some hiking. The breakfast is simple/standard. Very friendly and helpful personnel, good regional wine in the bar

Tight shower cabins, can be an issue for bigger people

Outstanding, friendly service. The most comfortable bed I've slept on in Germany. Steak cooked to perfection. Excellent wine. Ideally located for visiting the Abbey of St Hildegard and her church. All for a very reasonable price. Overall it was the best 40th birthday I could have hoped for.

My only issue was the prosciutto. It just did not taste right. Literally everything else was absolutely fantastic.

Very good room, excellent breakfast. Staff helpful and informative Hotel with good food and drinks. Traditional building modernised but not losing its charm.

Located far out of town at the top of a hillside. This meant it was quiet and pleasant for our stay.

Staff were wonderful. They were very attentive and helpful. Space was readily available for my husband’s cycle. Breakfasts are very good and we ate twice there in the evenings, as the food was delicious and portions huge, which were much appreciated after our walks.

The staff were all very hospitable and kind. Breakfast was nice and satisfactory. The wines were delicious! The guesthouse is located on the far edge of the town, and though it was a bit of a walk from the train station, we enjoyed it being far from the hustle & bustle of the more touristic part of town, thus quite and relaxed.

We asked for a double bed, we got two single beds put together, so were not really able to sleep together, otherwise the beds moved and we fell through them... As we relied on soap to be provided, we didn't bring our own, and what was given was not enough.

They do not cater for lactose intolerance or vegans, so no meals available in the evening and limited choice at breakfast. A little oat milk would be a nice gesture

Lovely hotel with restaurant. Convenient parking and a 15 min walk down to Rudesheim. We had rooms with AC, which looked recently renovated. Very quiet location. I would stay here again.

Good hotel and a very nicely decorated restaurant, great hosts. Clean room.

Quite thin walls, however. You can hear your neighbours. The room during this hot season was quite hot, but luckily, there was a fan.

The rooms were basic but very comfortable and very clean. with views over the vineyards which were beautiful and quiet. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, the hotel’s wine was very good and very reasonably priced.

One of our party was in a wheelchair and so the hotel was a little too far out from the centre and uphill so it made it very hard work. However on discovering the taxi service this was made a lot easier.
