We had a lovely room (for two people) with a beautiful view of the Abbey. The host was charming and helpful. Also the breakfast very good. To supplement this there are good restaurants very close to the accomodation. You can also go walking easily on the path of the disused railway line. If you want to avoid the cities then it is ideal. We would easily stay again.

Nothing. However I’m not sure how practical it is for small children or people with disabilities (due to the stairs).

We loved it here! The location was idyllic. The village is beautiful and L’Atelier de Tess is in a period property, overlooking the abbey, with the lovely scent of flowers and lavender just outside the bedroom windows. Tess, the owner was so friendly and accommodating and produced a delicious breakfast in the garden. Plenty of free parking available just outside. The bedroom was big and comfortable with period features.

Splendid central position in a quircky building plus an excellent breakfast. Idealy placed for viewing landmarks especially the Abbey over the roady' Second time we have been there and to the two friendly restaurants

The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and so so quiet. Situated in an amazing gem of a Normandy village, and in a totally extraordinary little cottage/shop. The host is charming and accommodated our earlier than usual breakfast request. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was beautiful, just perfect. Our room was clean , comfortable and beautifully decorated. You couldn't ask for anymore. The breakfast was delicious and presented with so much time and effort . And as for the host , she was a wonderful lady , we were so lucky to have met her.

Charming old building. Roomy and warm with beautiful linen. The view is stunning of the abbey. The owner was very attentive. We had a lovely breakfast. The location was pretty special. The landscape when driving in and out of town was a joy.

Wish we had more time in the magical place.

We loved our stay at L'atelier de Tess. We were on the way down through France and had chosen this as a stop-off. We received a warm welcome and our room was beautiful with an amazing view from the window. All was comfortable, we were located close to a couple of places for an evening meal and the breakfast was excellent. Home made goods including home made bread! It was all delightful, the location was superb and we would not hesitate to stay here again if in the area.

Nothing - all was great!

We had a beautifully decorated, very clean room with a good shower and comfortable bed. The view of the Abbey was amazing. Free parking was easily available across the road. Convenient to motorway about 1.5 hours from Dieppe ferry terminal. Continental breakfast was truly delicious. Eggs were also available though we didn't need any.

We liked everything about the property! However, worth noting that the restaurants in the beautiful village may not be open in the evenings during low-season. We had a delicious pizza dinner at Brionne about 4 km from the property.

we liked EVERYTHING. Both rooms were spacious , immaculately clean, the bathrooms modern, and shower wonderful. Location so quiet, outside of property couldn’t be more lovely and quaint. Tess the proprietor is a charming, gracious lady. the breakfast , no exagération , was absolutely superb ! Tess bakes her bread in the morning, and the eggs, orange juice , melon, coffee, croissants were excellent . we felt guilty eating everything.

Our hostess was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was full of character and the bed was very comfortabl.e The location is fantastic, a beautiful village with a restaurant just a few doors away.

The bathroom was a little small but as it is an old characterful building it was to be expected and wasn't a problem.
