Damon and Graham were the perfect hosts. The room was lovely and clean. The breakfast (included in the price) was a continental style breakfast with, yoghurt, crossiants and fruit and was very nice. The wine and food (platters of cheese and charcuterie), available from early evening, were also delicious. Graham and Damon took time to explain what we were eating and drinking and were able to recommend wines that we might like to try. The village of Belves is a quiet, beautifully preserved, medieval location with views over the surrounding countryside, a number of restaurants and some interesting historic sites.

Everything. Location very accessible, able to come and go as we pleased. Nice and relaxed , Graham, Damon and Malbec were fantastic hosts. Made us very welcome and made to feel very comfortable. The breakfast was fabulous. Lovely quality. We had the platters for the 3 evenings we stayed , delicious and they were very knowledgeable about the products they served. Attention to detail was brilliant. Our stay exceeded our expectations , we would def stay again if we visited that area again. It was a beautiful town.

What an absolute delight!!!. Graham and Damon were the nicest people ever and so accomadating. We had a lovely night here and a really lovely breakfast . It was a pleasure to engage with our hosts over breakfast. Had we not made plans to move on we would gladly have stayed an extra night. These two lovely gentlemen have restored the building beautifully and we wish them all the success for the future and we would love to return to this beautiful town and to this establishment again in the future.

Beautifully decorated and everywhere smelled lovely, enjoyable breakfast which was included making it really good value for money and good location within the village. Owners were hospitable and friendly gave good advice on dinner place.

The room was south facing which owner had minimised with the shutters but it was a hot room. Fan was provided though which was good and aware it is southern France in late summer in an old property so not unexpected, but worth noting. Also the restaurant was closed on the day we were visiting and so didn’t get to try the planches!

We loved our stay here. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, anything we needed they helped with. The room was large with a comfy bed, good facilities and was nicely decorated. The town is great with lots of places to eat and drink. The wine and cheese bar itself is amazing with excellent local meats, cheeses and wines... would highly recommend the South-West board and finishing off with a glass of the sweet wine.

In the heart of a beautiful historic town, a perfect spot. We also ate in the wine bar. Country dwellers ourselves , we were a tad concerned that outside noise would disturb us. The excellent double glazing made the room really quiet and so we were in the heart of things yet still enjoyed a peaceful night. Our hosts made us feel really welcome. 100% recommend this location.

We visited during a heatwave so we struggled a bit. But so did the whole town, not really a solveable problem but our hosts did all they could with a multi function fan to mitigate the problem.

We have been wanting to stay here for a while and we were not dissappoonted. Graham and Damon are the perfect hosts. The room was perfect for our overnight stay and spotlessly clean . The bed was lovely and comfortable and the beautiful view over the gardens was lovely. We booked a table for the evening downstairs in the wine bar and we were not dissappointed with the fabulous service and knowledge about the food and wine . A really lovely relaxed ambiance too. We would definitely book to stay again it was a perfect place to stay in a fabulous location .

Everything about the property was stunning. The decor and furnishings were beautifully in keeping with the style of the property. All tastefully done and kept in pristine condition. Centrally located to all that Belvès has to offer.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like.

Absolutely beautiful place! Graham and Damon were wonderful hosts with fantastic knowledge of the location and wonderful food and wine. Their hospitality was superb. The location has free parking and also has EV charging, which was awesome.

the property has been beautifully restored and is in the perfect location within the village , the room was spotlessly clean and beautiful, the view out of the shuttered windows over the centuries old tiled rooftop buildings is stunning, breakfast each morning was fantastic and set us up for 3 brilliant days meandering around the village, the planches of an evening are UNBELIEVABLE and priced exceptionally good, and as for the PLONK, well everything that Graham and Damon recommend to go with the food paired fantastically, the hosts Damon & Graham are fantastic and put you at ease as soon as they meet you and helped us with perfect places to eat and drink within the village during our stay when we could peel ourselves away from their amazing place, thanks so much to you both for making our 20th anniversary break so relaxing and special
