Breakfast was good,but not much room to move around with other guests getting breakfast at the same time,too. Great location to downtown and our other used locations. Pet friendly a big bonus! Nice hotel,great location,and met our needs. Comfy beds,and enough space for our belongings+ pet kennel. Friendly staff.

Wish the pool was open earliertimes,and close later. Didn't get to use the pool due to we were out doing stuff with family near by,and was too late to swim when got back at hotel..little after 10pm close time:( Housekeeping came 2nd day,while we were out,and didn't leave us any clean washcloths. Hate the construction all around,but that's going on everywhere in Springfield,MO. The toilet made noises off/on that was kinda loud. Need more room coffee ect.

We really liked this place. It was cool and very clean. We stayed in #410 and it had a great jacuzzi tub. Sometimes they can be a little janky or gross in motels but this one was clean and functioned properly. The room altogether was just nice and well taken care of, cool lamps, nice curtains, awesome tile in the bathroom and other little touches. It felt very comfortable. The bed was comfortable with nice but weirdly square pillows and there was a full size recliner in the room. This room is at the back and it was very quite, not that there was really that much traffic anyway, even being a Friday night on Labor Day weekend. The neighborhood was not sketchy, parking was right outside and the staff was very friendly. If we ever need to stay in Springfield again we will be back.

All of the furniture is a little too big for the room, but it didn't feel like a problem except that there were no other chairs in the room except for the one recliner and no desk or table. I don't think they would fit. There was a nice little front porch area but it would have been better if there had been two chairs outside the door and a small table instead of just one chair.

The Route 66 history was what initially drew me to the property. We arrived two hours before check-in time and instead of sending us packing to while away a couple hours, Front Desk member Ashlynn allowed us to change in to our swimsuits in the available bathroom so we could enjoy the pool until our room was prepared. Ashlynn then recounted some of the motel’s history, particularly some accounts of Elvis’ stays in ‘56 and ‘57. To cap off some of the best customer service I’ve received in years, a second team member , Tawnie, offered to let us peek at the ‘Elvis’ suite, which my daughters absolutely loved! First class culture at this motel! Friendly, helpful and incredibly courteous! Five stars from me!!!

It's a good room at a fun historic motor inn. Breakfast was usually out early, and was good with eggs, sausage, gravy, waffles, etc. There were several areas outdoors to sit, and plenty of cool stuff to look at during a walk around the property- old cars, old signs and vintage gas pumps reminiscent of Route 66's glory days. There's also an old British telephone booth. The grounds are well kept, and there are lots of amenities just a very short drive away, and some just a short walk away.

Water wouldn't stay hot in the shower. The water temp would fluctuate quite a bit from really hot to freezing.

Slept through breakfast but we’re not early eaters lol Location was good as far as where the hotel is but the best part was the room and its location. We were in 410 and even though the buildings are all fairly close to each other, ours felt secluded…no busy traffic or ppl pulling in and out of parking, was pointing away from main roads, so it was very relaxing.

Shouldn’t complain about the price, cuz moneys tight for most ppl right now. But that wld be my only dislike. We’d definitely make time for more wknd getaways if we could afford to 😊

Loved the ambiance of this place! Our room had a collection of pictures of the motel when it first started, and it was so interesting to see the history. We loved the fact it was a "motor court" and you weren't inside a 4-5 story building. We love the outdoors so it was special to just step outside when you wanted to! Staff recommended a GREAT place for a steak dinner also....right down the street. Don't miss Doe's Eat Place if you go!

I'm not sure how full they were for the night, but we would have liked a little larger room, some of them had small patios but ours didn't. It was still a very nice, clean room though.

Room was super clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable with awesome pillows and super soft bedding. Excellent lighting with an bright overhead lighting and several lamps. Lamp with outlets for charging devices on nightstand. Nice hot shower with plenty of thick soft towels. Large ice cold mini fridge. Nice large mirror and counter for getting ready. Parking right outside our room was super convenient. The outdoor pool and hot tub looked amazing. I want to return in the summer to enjoy that area.

The breakfast area was super busy. They had a good variety of breakfast items. I tried going twice. Both times there was no where to sit as the tables were all full and both times there was a line for waffles. I think an extra waffle maker or 2 would help. They did have to-go boxes, so I gave up and grabbed a few items and took them back to the room. Not sure if it is always like that or if I just had bad timing. The items I did have were all very good, so not a big deal missing a waffle.

Most comfortable bed we have ever had at any hotel. Location was great. Easy to get in and out of. Best TV options we have ever had at any hotel.

The bathrooms either need a refresh or to be updated. Some calcium build up and leaking faucets were a bit annoying. We ran into an issue where only one key worked to start, next morning, both keys didn't work and the privacy door placard was thrown on the ground. Nothing was missing, but extremely frustrating. The choice of furniture was a bit bulky for the space.

I had my dog with me so we used a pet room. It was very clean. No smells. I looked for bedbugs as soon as we entered. There were NO signs of any kind of bugs anywhere in the room or bathroom. There was a nice grassy area just across the parking lot to walk my dog. Parked right outside my door so I felt my vehicle was safe and taking stuff into room was very easy. The breakfast was very good with a variety of cold, hot and quick items.The staff at front desk were very nice. I will stay here again!

The bathroom was a little on the cold side for my liking.

We've been to Rail Haven twice now for our anniversary- and have had an excellent time both times. Staff was amazing and super helpful - the cleaning staff were awesome bringing us extra towels and helping keep our trash taken out - we love the room with the spa tub- and will most definitely be back to try out the cadillac room or the wild west room- it's kinda become our spot - so you will see us again- next year same days! Thank you for helping to make our anniversary amazing!
