The location was great! Our king suite was spacious and the view was I’m outstanding!

It was under renovation. I understand this is necessary and given the whole area is under renovation, due to hurricanes. But, it should be made incredibly clear to potential guests if major amenities, like the pool in this case, are not available. I booked this place for no reason other than the pool, as I was traveling with 3 children that like to swim. It is still marketed on this website as having a pool. They should change that. That’s my only complaint. Other that, the place was great!

I loved the location, the hotel is right on the beach. The playground for the kids is wonderful The food and variety of restaurants is great Love the room. Very clean.

No parking. Very noisy. Many visitors that are not staying in the hotel, drunk and screaming. Shower and sink faucets need to be fixed. They were loose. Room 304 sink faucet completely loose and just a little water coming out.

The location was great! The outside of the property was a little weathered, but we were pleased that our room was very spacious and clean and our two double beds were comfortable and big enough for me and my 12 year old son to share a bed and my husband had a bed to himself. Although we saw reviews complaining of noise, we had a quiet, peaceful experience and slept well and during the day and evenings enjoyed the live music available in the bars and restaurants at the property. Overall we had a great experience at Lani Kai!

We specifically picked Lani Kai for the fact that we could get an oceanfront room with a balcony for a decent price. However, we were put in Room 202, which had a cluster of palm trees right in front of our balcony that completely blocked any view of the ocean and one of my favorite things to do while on vacation is to have my morning coffee on the balcony and enjoy the view of the ocean which I didn’t get to experience.

This beach resort was nice. I would def. stay here again. Keep in mind it's a 'beach' resort, not a Ritz.. Sand is fine and sticks to everything. Staff sweep or pressure wash the property area leading out to the beach every day. You can rinse your feet at the pool. Close to town where you can view beautiful sunsets with restaurants and shopping. Room was simply decorated. Shower was always hot. Especially liked the bracelet access system.

Pool towel inventory is lacking but staff seems to do their best trying to keep up with demand. Other than that I have nothing bad to say.

Some cleaning staff seemed somewhat unhappy. Our shower faucet was very loose and so was our toilet.

No pool, no restaurants open except YoTaco on the beach floor. They havent been able to build them since the hurricanes. Had to pay an amenities fee a parking fee and beach chairs and umbrellas cost.

Night time front desk staff was awesome! Food was great though still remodeling some of the amenities. Location was perfect.

Pillows were extremely uncomfortable for someone with neck problems.

The AC was wonderful and kept our room nice a cool even on the super hot days. The dehumidifier in our room was a life saver! The view from our room was amazing. The food at all of the restaurants on-site was delicious. This is defiantly a party location. There was a large crowd of younger people here celebrating spring break. I was a little nervous with 3 young kids but it turned out awesome. Only once did I see a group of younger folks starting to get rowdy and the hotel staff quickly calmed them down and moved them out of the common area. All of the workers on the grounds were very polite and helpful. The gentlemen working in the parking lot were life savers. They helped us park, but more importantly helped us get out of the lot onto the road in the crazy traffic. There was an older guy there when we first arrived who helped us park, showed us where to check in, grabbed a luggage cart, loaded all of our luggage, and helped move it to our room. VERY AWESOME! I would highly recommend this establishment for anyone wanting to experience not only Fort Myers beach, but also a true Florida Spring Break destination. Again, even with our three young children we had a blast here and will be coming back! On a side note, several of the reviews included loud music late at night. The staff at Lani Kai purposely gave us a room away from the bar area and we couldn't even hear the music at night in our room. It was not an issue at all! We had the opportunity to see dolphins right from our room. This resort is in a great location with a very short walk to the pier, shopping, and several restaurants. Paying for the beach chairs and umbrellas was a slight con however the same company also offered parasailing, jet ski rental, and other fun things right at the resort so that made it much better. Thank you Lani Kai and all of the employees who made our stay outstanding!

The room is in need of a few upgrades. The shower head had most of the holes plugged and acted like a power washer. The sink drain was slow, and some of the ceiling tiles in the bathroom need to be replaced.

The room was y, very clean and the personnel were very responsive to all my requests. The view from our room in the second floor was excellent. The channel selection on the TV was also very good. We enjoyed a lot the food in the Island View restaurant.

The parking space available very close to the entrance of the resort can be filled in fast. Although they have additional parking across the street, this may be inconvenient when it is raining hard.

Great location. Friendly and accommodating staff. Never have to leave the resort. Everything needed is there.

Pool needs to be kept up with throughout the day. The tunnel needs to be seriously cleaned and more lighting, even during the day-very dark and dingy. Overall stay was fantastic. Was a little put off at check out. “Room keys please”. “You will receive an email from the third party booking”. That is all they said. No “thank you”. “How was your stay”. “Come back soon”. NOTHING. Very strange.
