I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, I spent only two nights there and I could feel at home. The entire hotel staff was very nice and tried to help and answer every question. The hotel has an intimate and, most importantly, family atmosphere. Everyone is very nice and lovely. I will definitely go back there soon. 😍 the hotel is located in the charming, quiet town of Villajoyosa, which is famous for its beautiful, colorful houses. We are a short walk away from the beautiful beach, about 10 minutes of a quiet walk, it took me longer 😊 because I kept stopping to admire the beauty of this place, there are tiny atmospheric restaurants near the beach. where you can eat something with a beautiful view and the sound of the sea. There is a train station near the hotel🚉 from which you can travel for €1.45 to nearby Benidorm, where life is teeming day and night, there are many restaurants and events, and for €2.80 you can travel to the capital of the island, Alicante, where there is a beautiful marina. with ships I recommend this hotel 100%, it is a great base for a relaxing break in a family atmosphere.

I will start by saying that I was only there to carry out legal paperwork for my apartment sale so couldn't make full use of the facilities. Breakfast was a wide selection of hot and cold food - well presented and very good quality. The coffee machine was good and the dining room was spacious and spotless. My room was on the second floor and had a marvelous sea view from the mountains outside Benidorm to the beach directly outside. I really liked the heated bathroom floor and the fridge with complimentary water and chocolate was a bonus.

Sadly the weather was wet and windy but the hotel was not responsible for that! Also, as I only had 3 nights there I didn't get to use the heated indoor pool and gym. The outdoor pool was inviting but the weather was not! I didn't get to enoy the small bar either :( I intend to return later in the year and stay longer.

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday and we were extremely impressed with the hotel / staff and facilities. We had rooms over looking the beach and pool area, I requested them all together which was great. We loved having our breakfast outside on the terrace everyday The staff were extremely helpful and gave me a late check out on y last day and even let me keep my things in a locker and use the spa shower after I had checked out. The location is perfect for the beach and Old town.

The rooftop bar was not open every evening which was a shame. No full length mirror in he room, only one small one in the bathroom which is not ideal for us ladies!

A lovely, very clean, friendly small hotel right inbetween Villajoyosa tram station and the beach front. Staff were really friendly and the rooms super clean. We are able-bodied but the disability access here is a total winner if beneficial to you. Rooms big and spacious with air con. Breakfast basic but nice. There’s a skybar which is lovely in the evenings. Pool area quiet and clean. Perfect for a quiet holiday break. 🩵

Just some small feedbacks for improvement (but did not ruin our stay!): - the beds are twins pushed together but they slide about very easily. My partner nearly ended up on the floor a few times 🤣 - the shower pressure and heat was very temperamental - the skybar said open everyday but was only open 2/5 nights we were there. Understandable though as the season draws to an end.

Was the first time at Vistamar having stayed previously at La Punta (also DLV) next door... Not often l stay in hotels as l normally prefer self-catering, but it made a nice change and all the staff were welcoming and friendly and the cleaning staff were fantastic cleaning and tidying the rooms every day.... The location is perfect, not too far to walk down to the main promenade of bars and restaurants.. But far enough out to be quiet... The included breakfast is fantastic and so much choice of cooked and cold meats and pastries.. Coffee and fresh juice aplenty.. And the inclusion of a rooftop bar is definitely a plus (abeight it's changed since last year) which is open to the general public as well as guests... Although it no longer has the cocktail bar vibe it once had (but the owners are looking to employ a new dedicated bar person to bring this back) it's still a pleasant way to spend an evening for a night cap.. Open Thursday to Sunday.........

Nothing negative to say... If you like hotels this is for you, if you prefer self-catering go next door to La Punta as it has the same owners....

Great location for us as we attend a music festival close by, but also it’s only 10 min walk to the centre of the beach area and lot’s of restaurants. We always book a sea view room which is excellent and amazing views. Roof bar has stunning views

I would like to have a mirror in the bedroom area as there is only the bathroom mirror which with 2 people getting ready is not ideal. Lighting in bathroom for putting make up on is not great which another mirror in the bedroom would solve. Breakfast is good but there are always complaints about the temperature of food, the heat lamps do need to be hotter.

Everything. This is a fabulous hotel. Fantastic location, wonderful friendly staff. Plenty of bars restaurants, all within walking distance. The best hotel I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in many. Loved the breakfast. You could have full English or Continental. Plenty of choice. A gorgeous bar on top of the roof, with fabulous views. Indoor and outdoor swimming pool. Yesterday we went cycling along the front by the beach. In the afternoon we went swimming, in the indoor pool. After we went for a walk, along the beach, which is right in front of the hotel. Finished the walk, with a cool drink in the roof bar. What else could you ask for. It's a massive 10 from us. Everything was perfect.

Nothing. We shall return and have another fabulous time.

We visited in December 2024. The location and view from the window was incredible! A couple minutes of walk and you were on the beach. The rooms were really spacious, beds comfy and the wifi and tv good for streaming :) We appreciated having access to a gym and indoor swimming pool - the outdoor area looked also great, it just wasn't the season. The hotel was quiet and rooms were a great value, but this was one of the lulls of the season - I think it can get quite expensive in the summer!

The gym needs a bit of maintenance. The shower was oddly constructed and a bit tight - the doors left a gap on the floor and water would get out. The coffee machine was not functioning to its fullest, there seems to be an ongoing issue with it.

Amazing views from the room, pool and skybar. Very helpful and friendly staff who will give you tips for parking and things to see and do. Good location, on the outside of town, but still walkable. Spacious room and bathroom. Good airconditioning, and automatic shades for the large window. We did not use the pools or spa, so cannot comment on that. 2 pool towels were available. Coffee and tea facilities, and a minibar with a complimentary bottle of water, and some chocolates ... lovely gesture! Lots of facilities for disabled.

the shower was very uncomfortable. The cubicle was too small when closed, and the doors wouldn't stay open on their own, so that when you moved, you constantly brushed the tap with your arm or shoulder, and shut off the water. No basin, so half the bathroom was flooded. we understand it's this way to accommodate the disabled, but for us it didn't work out well. Also, when the water was running, it repeatedly changed from hot to cold, and from a strong to a weak beam.

Excellent view (of sea, beach, old town and Benidorm in the far distance) from my room, which was large (due to wheelchair accessibility), clean and comfy. Beach, boulevard and old town were all within five or ten minutes walking distance. Great supermarket 150 meters away. Breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. I found the (mostly multilingual) staff very helpful, friendly and pro-active. In-house parking is possible at a very reasonable price, but there are a number of parking spaces in the area. I liked the little libraries with books in various languages at different locations in the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel. Be sure to try the rooftop bar and basement swimming pool.
