The location is excellent, my family were attending an event at Rotterdam Ahoy and this was a quick trip on the metro away. Hotel very central so museums, galleries and shops a walk away. Rooms compact but very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Great air con, fridge in room The restaurant is good but limited options and a little pricey (waiting staff were very helpful)
The hotel is currently being converted into a Hilton DoubleTree so was in a state of flux. There was an issue with key cards that just kept on stopping working for the lift or our rooms. When you've had to return to reception over 8 times about this it gets a bit boring..

Fantastic location overlooking the port and watching the boats bobbing along. Leuvehaven tramstop just opposite. Maritime museum down the road. Great breakfast with good choice. Nice, safe area. Super modern and comfortable room and bed. I found the shower great so don't know what other guest were complaining about. Lifts fast and never busy. Great to be able to open the window slightly for fresh air. Rotterdam main station and Euromast a few stops away. You can get around the city easily from here. Hotel staff were friendly. A good choice for solo travellers. I enjoyed my stay. Got the train to Amsterdam and organized a trip to Kreukenhof with Tours & Tickets at the station there. A must see. Booked a queen room with a harbour view - totally worth it for the view.
Hotel bar was busy and Swiss prices. Not easy to get served. Rodin, French brasserie down the road, was lovely and reasonable with friendly staff. The Get Back bar at Stadhuisplein is also good and lively. So head out the hotel for food & drinks. The stairs are a bit convoluted at the hotel. I used the lift although normally I prefer stairs.

Perfect location, great view from room but our corner room we have been forced to change.
WiFi was terrible, in the end used my mobile roaming internet. In our booked corner room with great view window was damaged and didn't lock in, because of this in room was cold and noisy and we asked for other room. Second room didn't have the same view and window was bit better but not perfect, therefore some noises from the street still existed. Cleaner arrived in the evening what we didn't expected and it was second disappointing moment. Last one, mattress was creaky.

Nice hotel in Rotterdam center. Stuff is really friendly and the breakfast is great. I highly recommend that place. The store is 300 m away, hotel is exactly at the subway station. Beautiful view from the windows.
The is problem with check in. We had multiple booking because that room with island view wasn't available for Saturday night. We had to do check out before 10 am, and check in at 3 pm, they took care of our luggage, but it was little inconvenient.

Astonishing window view to the river. Great location in a fancy area if Rotterdam. Very good breakfast with huge choice.
SPA looks better that it really is. Swimming pool is small, sauna has a good view to the river as well, but also small. Turkish hammam didnt work at all. Gym is just a corner with a couple of cardio. As fir the room- it is rather spacious with big bathroom. However : TV is small, remote control didnt work, hair dryer didnt work as well, though was replaced by a call to room service. There is a sauna in the room!!- doesnt work, but wierd to see.

Room which we got was nice, clean and had an incredible view to the harbor, very large tv screen and feels like in a ship. Bed was very comfortable and large. You must book a room with the harbor view to enjoy the full experience of this hotel. Seems like you’re in a movie when you look at the window. The bar and restaurant is located in the next hotel which you can reach by passing through the lobby. Metro and tram stations are just in the front of the hotel and you can simply reach all destinations. You can swim on the 8th floor pool and stay in the sauna for relaxing.
I could not understand the bathroom door system which is glass, can’t be closed completely and has a hole in it, so you cannot have a complete intimacy and everything can be heard from the room. The Wi-Fi is awful. Could have been a carpet on the floor.

the room was fine, we had no noise from the outside; however, there were some noisy youthful guests in an adjacent room (but this is something that can happen in every hotel), luckily it didn't last too long, so we didn't complain about it at the desk; the beds were too soft for us, but that is for everyone different; the location was very good, near the city centre (15 minutes by foot), not far from the Dutch Photography museum & the Museumpark (both 15 minutes by foot); also quite a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood of the hotel; the breakfast was excellent, everything was available in profusion, the quality was excellent, the staff was very friendly.
the mattresses were too soft for us, but that is a subjective appreciation.

Everything was available what was to be expected and all worked properly. E.g. the sauna was working very well and the swimming pool was pleasant. Additionally the window could be opened (old fasioned - but I always like it). And the view was magnificent.
Some of the furniture was a bit outdated and worn out. Checking in and checking out took a while - although the staff was really nice. It was not clear from the website where to park - so we needed to ask first and find the right parking garage.

Location is absolutely great for accessing pretty much everything. Staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast is amazing and with great views over the river. Bed was comfortable and rooms are stylishly furnished and decorated. Pool and mini spa is very nice too with great relaxation area looking out over the river.
The shower pressure was incredibly low for some reason, I did ask but was told that was normal. The shower tray was fitted on the wrong slant too so that it didn't drain and risked flooding the bathroom. I also couldn't turn off the air conditioning fan which was quite noisy without the room becoming freezing. I think this might have just been my room though as I've stayed at this hotel before and not had that issue. On this occasion too the steam room was broken for 3 days.

The hotel is just in front of the famous Erasmus bridge so we had a stunning view from the window. Also we were lucky to have a room with a sauna for a very good price. Breakfast was also nice, including the option of sparkling wine.
Staff was friendly but could maybe have a bit more training: we asked for the end of breakfast and got two different times, that were also different than the information on the screen. Also for checkout we asked and got 11:30, but got a phone call at 11:15 because it was apparently 11:00.
