A beautifully restored castle full of history. Located within the town, it is surrounded by other interesting characterful monuments within a short walk. Our family room was spacious, with comfortable beds, and tastefully decorated in keeping with the historical aspect of the site. Xavier was an extremely welcoming, attentive and helpful host. We were particularly pleased to be able to have diner at the castle after a long drive.

It was great to stay in a historic monument and the family apartment was perfect for us. Xavier was a lovely host and did his best to meet our needs including waiting over an hour to serve us breakfast after we had a late night.
The rooms could benefit from standing fans during the summer. I appreciate there was a heatwave when we visited.

Simple, fresh breakfast. Large orange juice. Good coffee: two cups. Fresh croissant and bread. Good jams and butter.
I didn't see any opportunity to book the 'table d'hote' menu, which I would have very much wanted to have. It looked simple but very good.
