The location of North beach 🏝️ is the best on the island, the beach in front of the resort is beautiful & good for swimming Dennis & staff clean the beach daily which was nice . I had a double room with bathroom it was very small the WIFI doesn’t work in this area but worked well in the restaurant beach area. Aircon was good, low water pressure to be expected being in a small island. The restaurant area is nice on the beach , the food is good & reasonably priced considering your on a small island & far from any stores or restaurants. The service was excellent thanks to Dennis he goes out of his way to make you feel welcome & does so much to make your stay great , thanks Dennis . They have beach chairs for lounging but they are limited & the get a lot of walk in tours coming through the day do it’s tough to secure a chair . The resort is about a 25 min walk from the port & south beach where all the store’s & restaurants are it’s a 5 min motor bike ride , there is no trikes or cars so back light . There is a coffe shop , a few other local owned food stands close by but mostly open on the weekends & a local canteen for water beer snacks 1 min walk away . Overall it’s worth staying in the north beach if your diving or just want a peaceful experience with a great beach & friendly staff.
My room could have been a bit bigger , the breakfast quality could be a bit higher I’m referring to the American breakfast but the pancakes where good . WIFI that works in the rooms .

Location is the main reason why this place is perfect for vacation. Its situated in North Beach area which gives you access to a more peaceful side of the island. I booked a room in the attic and though its small, its still comfortable and good air-conditioning. There are places nearby where u can buy a good drink (Cafe Tablea), snacks and meals (The Cavern) and the lola Ipai the humble carenderia next to it. They're the lifesavers, if not bec of these small businesses sorrounding the resort, i wouldn't probably give good recommendation of this place. Staffs are exceptional. I love that they're friendly and always greet. And i loooooove seeing their lovely dogs!!! Toiletries provided were sufficient and they always clean the hallway and floors.
Price is steep in restaurant and their Happy Hour is 30 pesos less than the regular drinks. I mean on the other side of the island, they offer buy 1 take 1. We only got 2 pillows and thin blanket. Not complaining but a small improvement could make a difference.

The best thing about this place for me was the location. Away from the main part of the island. Breakfast was nice and the food overall at the restaurant was fine. Not amazing but it wasn't bad either.
I believe North Beach is one of the destinations of the boat tours so a lot of people from the outside come to the property during the day for sun lounging and eating at the restaurant. It felt really overcrowded from 11am-4pm but the good thing is you can walk 15 minutes along the beach and have a quiet spot all to yourself. Also they didn't have wifi in the rooms when I stayed there.

Everything was perfect. Would HIGHLY recommend. The resort is right on the beach with available beanbags and sunbeds with shaded areas, the staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Beach is fine white sand and very clean and well maintained, water is calm and good for children and you can see some starfishes if ur lucky. They have a diving centre although I didn’t try it out, I’ve heard very good things from other people that have tried out diving with them. They also have a restaurant.
The menu prices are a bit high especially considering the prices aren’t including the 12% VAT plus 5% fee for foreign card transactions which is essentially 17% added onto your bill. The location on the beach is amazing although a bit far from the main strip but only 50 pesos per person to get to the strip on the back of a bike. Regardless of this I would still stay here again because there’s a cafe and a place that does a great bbq with rice and other food for a cheaper price - neighbours to the resort on either side along the beach. The location of the strip being a bike ride away didn’t bother me at all because everything I needed was right there at the resort and there are also a few little shops 5 minute walking distance outside of the resort.

I like that the breakfast it’s included, I ordered every day the pancakes, they were amazing, a big amount. The pomelo juice was nice but too sweet. The place it’s in front of the best beach in malapascua, the staff were very nice and there it’s a pool table to play and beach loungers 😌
I didn’t like the share bathroom, it’s really small, you don’t have space to take a normal shower and it’s salty. The bedroom was really small aswell and the bed it was in the floor. About the restaurant, once I ordered a mango shake and it was really fluid like a juice and 70% of the glass was ice, it was ridiculous the amount of juice and I told them, but they didn’t care, they don’t care to improve the standard quality service. For $220 pesos was the most expensive “shake” I took in the Philippines

First of all: the guy at the reception and the guy at the beachbar (umbrellas, sunbeds) were exceptionally friendly and helpful! the other staff was also very friendly! The rooms were super clean!!! nice breakfast included. we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again!
it‘s the only place on north beach which is really nice but it‘s a bite far from all the other places and restaurants where other people hang out in the evening (40 minutes walk) so you need a motorbike. But it‘s also nice to be a bit off the crowded area, just to mention it :)

Beachfront location with a divecentre onsite. Nice, simple rooms, clean and well equipped. The divecentre has a boat onsite and it is quick and easy to go diving. The guides were professional and the equipment looked new or well maintained.
I was not informed I could re-use and refill my water bottle at the bar; on my last day I was made aware of this but still don't know if it was a courtesy or policy to do this - anyway I am trying to reduce the use of plastic as much as I can so I was surprised there were no water distributors on site. Quite expensive meals onsite but there are small stores and a nice restaurant next door. Insufficient amount of sunbeds for the amount of guests - I had to lie on the sand rather than under an umbrella when I wanted to sunbathe.

the owner Jessica is amazing, whatever we needed, she met us, the staff is amazing and kind and we miss everyone very much... the room was clean, I really appreciated the foot showers in front of the room, the restaurant and the diving center right in the resort were very useful for us, excellent they cook there, there is a beach with white sand right in front of the resort with excellent conditions for snorkeling right in front of the resort, it is truly paradise on earth.

Their location is first class and their staff were very professional, well trained. We had the best breakfast most especially their home made tocino. The price of their restaurant food is reasonable considering the lovely ambiance and the bonfire by the beach every night with our favourite cocktail drinks! We will definitely come back next vacation trip.
Just the small stores beside the resort that blocks the lovely view of the beach as they are occupying the seafront area. Also, just a heads up, there are a lot of flies and mosquitoes but they are trying their best to get rid of it, just make sure to apply some insect-repellent lotion on your skin.

The beach in front of the resort is simply amazing, crystal clear water and no trash. Food in the restaurant is actually very good.
