The view, the location and beach were all great, but the facility was not worth the $ 1074 we paid for three nights. We had asked for a ground level executive suite with a spa tub . but instead had to settle for a ground level apartment with no air conditioning and spa tub , and no reduction in the price. All the executive suites are up a steep flight of stairs which my wife cannot negotiate.Our host was very apologetic, and explained because we had booked through Booking .com there was little he could do but offer us the apartment we settled on. We were very grateful and had a lovely stay. Now that we know what to expect we have no problem in booking with Oceanside Motel again as the location is suberb , right across from the beach.

An explanation of the difference between the downstairs and upstairs apartments, and the fact that there is stairs associated with the property, and that we could have got it at a cheaper rate

Location ideal for a quiet night yet within easy walking distance of the town centre for access to restaurants and ferries. Layout of accommodation good, plenty of space in the living area. Bathroom facilities good. Staff really friendly and helpful and full of local knowledge tips.

A minor point was we felt we could have done with more storage space to unpack our bags as we are travelling on a lengthy trip and it would be nice to empty bags and store or hang stuff up. We stayed two nights and would stay again if coming this way.

Amazing. From the moment I walked in to the front room and looked out at the patio windows and saw the waves rolling in, the beach and the scenery I was sold. Sitting outside on the patio, particularly in the evening was great. Lots of space. I was there for a week and would loved to have stayed longer.

The only concern I had was the low water pressure. This however did not cause any concerns for me.

Waking up on a fine day, having a coffee outside, with a great view of the ocean, is stunning. Facilities are great with cupboards containing all the plates, glasses, cups, utensils you need for a comfortable few days stay. Tea, coffee, toiletries well stocked. Good selection of TV channels.

Not a dislike, but more of a recommendation. A larger TV in the lounge as it was more a bedroom size and hard to read footy scores etc from a distance.

Very well appointed and serviced units. Ideally located across the road from the beach front to see awesome sunrises even from the ground unit which we were based. Nice area to sit outside from the lounge area in your own private courtyard. A very nice Continental Breakfast(after selecting options to each taste) arrived in the evening for the next day so you're not disturb in the morning which was a great thought. The staff upon arrival and departing (different both times) were great and friendly. We only stayed one night on this trip but looking forward to our return for longer.

Space and location was perfect, balcony view with am sunlight was awesome, access to beach second to none

Well, is not a didn't like, its feedback back to make this place 100/100. Super king bed, walk in shower (no need for a spa), move toilet roll holder 100mm forward, air conditioning

Location was fantastic. Beautiful views of the sunrise in the morning. Easy walk to bars ,restaurants and shops . Very Comfortable beds . well equipped.. Just stayed one night which was not long enough. Milk offered on arrival and tea and coffee in the room . Very friendly owner . Laundry available and free parking.

Walls a little thin. Could hear the person in the next room coughing and their conversations . Luckily it didn't start until 7am .

The staff were super friendly and accomodating to our needs during the stay. The beds were super comfy! Best sleep I have had on holiday in a long time. The room was very clean and spacious, where 5 of us were able to comfortably move around and enjoy the room/porch facing the beach

There was nothing that I think needed improving

Great location across from the east facing beach, so beautiful for a morning swim with the sun bouncing off the gentle rolling waves. Nice varanda to sit with a drink in the evening and a nice stroll along the beach to cafes and restaurants not too far away.

Bed could do with an upgrade as wasn’t the most comfortable.

Location was great, we like the morning walks to town explored the township. Very relaxing. Just what we need after a stressful working week.

The fan is a bit too noisy, would be nice to have a quieter option to cool the place down at night.
