Whilst POD Hotel Camps Bay is a modern, comfortable, relaxing, well designed boutique hotel, what makes it really special is the team. The team from arrival to departure couldn't have been more helpful. Warm, friendly enthusiastic people who genuinely want to make your stay a pleasure are very rare and this describes everyone we met at POD. On arrival Nick deserves a special mention as he had to deal with our very long list of initial questions and he couldn't have done any more for us. He arranged a guide for Table Mountain which resulted in us climbing it via India Venters, a route we could not have navigated on our own. It was spectacular. He recommended & booked the Codfather restaurant which was first class for local seafood. And he arranged a driver for a trip round Cape Point, again with an excellent lunch restaurant booking along the way. The front of house team couldn't have been more helpful & attentive bringing us a steady flow of complimentary coffees & chai's which were also excellent. Concy was especially thoughtful & helpful at breakfast. The team are always making sure you have all you need, but not in an intrusive way, in a genuine friendly and helpful manner. Finally Neesha helped us to arrange Whale watching at Hermanus aswell as recommending an excellent lunch spot where the whales could be watched from the shore. She also was very kind on our last day, arranging a late checkout so we could shower after we returned from our hike which also made a real difference and allowed us to have a very relaxed departure. Neesha had also arranged breakfast packs for us as we were leaving very early on or hike which was a really nice touch. I am only sorry I don't recall all the names as the entire team deserves an individual thankyou. You all combined to make our stay wonderful & memorable and we would have no hesitation in recommending a stay at POD Camps Bay.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the stunning, modern, and cosy design that graces every inch of this boutique hotel. Our room was a perfect blend of comfort and style, featuring modern design elements like stone, wood, and glass, and offering a delightful view of Lion's Head through the window. The fully stocked mini bar, complete with a complimentary bottle of wine (and more) each night, added an extra touch of luxury to our evenings. One fun addition at POD Boutique Hotel apart is the thoughtful provision of day beach bags in each room. Equipped with towels, sunscreen, and games. It's these small yet considerate touches that make a big difference. The communal breakfast and bar/lounge area provided the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The ambiance was inviting, and starting our days with a delicious meal and ending them with a refreshing drink in such a welcoming space was a highlight. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding staff. Always happy, friendly, and ready to assist, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The personal touch of remembering our names from the very first day made us feel truly valued. As for the location, it's perfect – nestled in a quieter section of Camps Bay, yet only a minute's walk from the beach and the vibrant strip with its array of restaurants, bars, and shops. AN ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE STAY! The staff were some of the best we have ever come across and went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. We stayed for our honeymoon and very kindly got upgraded to their deluxe suite which was so beautiful with breath taking views of the ocean. The room itself was so comfortable with an extremely large bed, fantastic bath and shower and all the extras you could possibly need and more. The location was absolutely perfect and we are so grateful to POD for such an amazing stay and really can't wait to come back, thank you so much again! We had a truly special stay.

Absolutely nothing- everything was perfect!

We had a fantastic stay at pod, couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff go above and beyond and there are so many little touches that make your stay feel special. The mini bar is complementary as are all hot drinks/water throughout your stay. The rooms have little beach bags with a bat and ball game in, there is washing powder should you need to refresh your clothes, the staff never fail to ask if you need anything and often provide snacks by the pool if you are lying there. Thank you pod staff, keep doing what you are doing!

Everything was more than perfect ! The staff is just amazing, always available for their guests. Moreover the breakfast offers a large selection with fresh products. The room is quiet and equipment amazing ! A minibar is included in the room price, coffee and tee and many more are also available. The location is near the beaches of camps bay and Clifton ! I recommend more than 100%!! We will definitely come back !

Nothing, everything was perfect !

This is such a special place to stay. It is beautifully decorated and has incredible sunset views. It is the ideal location on camps bay and is safe to walk around even at night. The breakfast is delicious but the highlight was the impeccable service. All of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay magical, even offering to bring us up popcorn to our room at night. Kaamil looked after us so well always checking in to see if there was anything we needed. We hope we will be back here some day and will be recommending it to everyone.

From the moment we arrived at Pod the staff couldn’t have done enough for us. They are all amazing people and the hotel is perfect - room so clean and spacious and the facilities and pool are fantastic. we also used the gym and the breakfast was delicious. We loved all the other touches in the room and we had some popcorn and hot chocolate for a movie night which we loved! They went above and beyond for our honeymoon. We will definitely be back :)

Loved everything

We travelled South Africa for 3 weeks on our honeymoon. Pod hotel was by far our favourite stay and we cannot wait to return! The facilities in the hotel are at a 5 star level. The staff at Pod camps bay are so helpful and friendly, the level of service went beyond our expectations! Overall, this is a must stay if visiting Cape town.

Everything was perfect!

The staff were fantastic - so helpful, and always made you feel like nothing was any trouble. Especially Sean, Martha and Concy who were all amazing! We would definitely recommend the Pod Camps Bay - one of the most welcoming hotels I’ve ever stayed at!

The pool was a little bit on the small side, and when the wind gets up they (understandably!) can’t use umbrellas for shade.

Beautiful property with impeccable service. Great location. after staying here, no other hotel stay will ever measure up. The staff anticipated my needs, were warm and engaging - made my feel as if I’m in my own home. Would rate it 12/10 if I could. Great location - 3 minute walk to local restaurants.
