Our one night stay in Pocatello was perfect. We appreciated the microwave and good selection of frozen foods to purchase for a late dinner. Plenty of light in the room and comfortable beds. Also it was very quiet. Which we love because we are from the country. 😃 On this trip we stayed in a fancier place in Denver and heard a train every night go through town, also they had no microwaves in any of the rooms. I think that's a first. Also had a good breakfast. The sausage and eggs could have been heated up more, but they were tasty. Overall a great place and reasonably priced. I would stay here again.

It is in a central location which made it easy to go any direction in a short amount of time.

This is not really a fault of the property itself other than it might be slightly aged. Because of that, soundproofing from outside traffic is not great. The property is situated not far from a main interstate that is used a-lot for trucking, which continues through the night. The sound of cars and trucks throughout the night made it difficult to sleep. Had to keep the fan on all night to use as white noise to slightly drown out some of the sound.

After staying in a horribly dirty, grungy, broken-down hotel in Montana, we stayed here on our way back home and it was LOVELY. So clean. Towels were clean and stocked, bathroom was clean. Beds were soft and cozy, AC worked, elevator worked. Breakfast was okay, and staff was very nice. It was honestly great.

Breakfast could use some TLC. Also just a suggestion for the hotel to put non-slip tile or some sort of anti-skid floor covering in the pool—-even when dry I had trouble not slipping. And maybe put a large rug just outside the pool-access door into the hallway—the water tracked out makes it terribly slippery.

Jessie at the front desk was fantastic. We came in late, and there were several people checking in. Turns out some kind of basketball tournament was in town, so lots of people were checking in all at once. She was friendly, efficient, clear, and concise. She put everyone through very quickly with a smile. The room was clean and large, and the shower was fantastic! I also loved the flavored creamers they have for coffee. Love that so much. I also appreciated that the pool was open 24 hrs, even though we didn't use it. If I'm traveling through Pocatello again, will definitely book here again.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Minimal noice from doors and other rooms which was great as I was traveling with my dog.

There’s a $25 dog fee which was higher than other places I’ve stayed at. Also, I couldn’t enjoy the free breakfast as I was traveling solo and they wouldn’t let my dog in the breakfast area. In other hotels I’ve stayed at that are dog friendly, this has never been an issue.

Great location. Beds very comfortable, and a lovely area across the road to walk my dog. Restaurants close by. Staff were very helpful.

Elevators were not working so we had to drag all our stuff up the stairs to the 2nd floor. Wifi also not working so that was inconvenient as well. I do think there should have been some fee adjustments for the lack of facilities. Pillows were really hard as well.

Enjoyed my stay at La Quinta. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was above the norm.

We were woken up at 3am by the fire alarm and found out that an off-duty employee was using the pool with friends and someone set off the alarm. I can see that happening by an ill-mannered guest, but not an employee (who is responsible for the family or friends he/she brings). I think employee pool usage should be changed. Since we were leaving for home at 5am, we did not go back to bed, and left. The employee on duty at the time was very apologetic.

Fantastic facilities and high quality breakfast. A few restaurants in walking distance--we ended up doing Applebee's, which is practically in the parking lot, two nights in a row because it was such a good deal.

The only issue is it's basically in a cluster of hotels and restaurant, but a little ways from the main part of town. If you don't mind a bit of a drive or are just looking for a pleasant stop for the night, you'll be satisfied!

I loved the staff they were extremely polite and helpful. I stayed for 7 nights. I felt spoiled by the cleaning staff always asking if I need anything just walking down the hall. My room was large and clean and neatly decorated. The indoor pool and hot tub were terrific.

Mattresses were a little hard for my liking

The breakfast was delicious! They even had flavored waffles! It was very busy when we were there but the food was quickly refilled nice fresh and hot. The pool and spa were huge and have 24 hour access which we loved! Our room the king suite two bedroom was perfect! The fire place was a surprise and each kid had a pull out bed which was great! Our favorite La Quinta so far! But what amazed us even more was the staff. They were so helpful and efficient. Especially Jessi! One night it was particularly busy a bunch of us like 6 different groups all either had questions or needed to check in. She was kind, welcomed each group, got everyone taken care of. She was professional, efficient, polite and hospitable. I was so impressed.
