Absolutely lovely hotel, staff were fab and very helpful as needed to change rooms due to mobility issues. Breakfast was lovely and well worth the 8.95 we paid. Very clean. Location was very good right near tram stop. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it anyone going to stay in blackpool. Went with a party of 20 of us, kids games rooms kept kids occupied while we had a drink in bar after coming back in evening.

Didn't dislike nothing really. The only thing I could say is one of the entrances could be made into a ramp for a wheelchair or mobility scooter as one if our party used a scooter which had to be carried into the hotel in night.

We went as a family to see the illuminations. We booked two rooms for out group which included 4 adults and 3 children aged 6 and 7 years. The hotel staff were all very helpful, friendly and couldn't do more to help. The location was perfect for the lights, access to the trams and beach front. There was a lovely Italian just round the corner which served quality food which even the children devoured. At the hotel there is a small arcade room. There is also a bar with seating. There is a pool room with air hockey. Make sure you have some coins for them all. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice for the children and adults and you are served at the table so food cooked to order. Delicious hash browns. Our rooms were on the small side. My room was on the front of the building and we had a view of the big roller coaster at Pleasure Beach. The room was very compact with a small double bed and single bed. It had a TV, fridge (which was very handy), table and stools. The bathroom was clean with a good extractor fan.

The room was on the small side. We swapped beds on the second night so I shared the double bed with my 6 year old whilst my husband went in the single bed as the first night we struggled to get comfy.

On arrival, we were met by the night porter (I think his name is Keith) and he was great- very welcoming and sorted us out straight away! We were on the top floor in room 11 so there were quite a few stairs before getting to the room. This wasn’t too much of an issue, but my mum struggled a bit. The next morning we had a fantastic full English breakfast (but you can pretty much order what you would like) this is where we met mags. She made us feel very comfortable and after talking about the struggle for my mother on the stairs- we were kindly offered a room on the ground floor. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the blankets and pillows kept you warm or cool through the night. After 2 nights- we were asked if we needed any refills on toilet paper, tea/coffee & towels- we felt very well looked after! We stayed 3 nights here and will definitely be back when we come to Blackpool.

The only negative thing I would add is about the stairs up to the top rooms. But we would know next time to ask specifically for a room on the ground floor.

this hotel was perfect for us, myself sister and my 2 grandsons stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Daniel was on reception when we arrived, he was great very welcoming and friendly, the other staff was very welcoming aswell, there's a great choice for breakfast. for both adults and kids. we was upgraded when we arrived due too the youngest grandson being in a wheelchair. they allowed us to leave our wheelchair in reception. the staff carry all your bags to the room. and given a ground floor room. we also paid extra to keep the room on due to waiting to be picked up.

there was nothing we didn't like and we would definitely recommend to family and friends, and we will be booking again.

It was lovely and clean, with a lovely welcome. Our room wasn’t ready because they had to rearrange some guests. They offered us a drink for free and then because we’d to wait a while longer - they included breakfast free of charge. The bar was comfortable and clean and there was a children’s area so the kids were happy while we waited. The room was very clean with a small fridge. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was outstanding!! There was a large range and we all had varied things - nothing was too much trouble - the toast came to the table steaming hot! Which I don’t think I’ve ever had anywhere! All the ingredients were local and excellent quality! I had boiled eggs and soldiers and they were perfect! Everything was piping hot. Loved it! Location - excellent! Thank you for a lovely stay we will definitely be back

The only thing was the location of our room - it was directly next to the children’s games room! I mean we opened out door and we were in it - right next to the air hockey machine. When we stay again I’d just request a different room.

Great location, 5 min walk from pleasure beach and south pier, countless shops and food options minutes away, hotel had amazing facilities and a really nice vibe to it, it also felt modern and well kept opposed to the numerous other classic blackpool style hotels all around it which all looked a bit typically run down, room was more than adequate and clean, the place was also really quiet in the evening and I had an amazing night sleep. the lovely young woman who checked us in was AMAZING, so friendly, courteous, nice, and couldn't do enough for us. I honestly can't rate this place enough. It's good value for money and will definitely be the only place I stay next time I'm in Blackpool!

Rooms brilliant. The receptionist (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name) was excellent. She was so friendly and welcoming nothing too much trouble, she’s a credit to the hotel . Breakfast was really good full English, delicious. Lovely bar area and games area for the kids. The whole family was catered for and we all loved it and will definitely come again.

We had a lovely stay at Danescourt guest house, from when we first got there we were greeted by the most sweetest receptionist (I wish I got her name) but I told her before I left so she will know 😂 she was so polite and lovely to the kids, even took my little boys hand when she took us to our room! So sweet! it was sooo clean and lots for kids to do too, we didn’t want to come home, 10/10 and we have booked already for November! Thank you so much

We loved everything!! Perfect location too

Second year staying here and once again not disappointed the staff were fantastic again, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We asked for a room on a lower floor than last year which was arranged and appreciated aswell as parking which was arranged around the back for a reasonable price. Location is brilliant for south pier.

Only thing was how close the toilet was to the wall we found ourselves having to sit at angle to avoid the cold wall .

Location spots on only the parking nightmare. We asked to have a higher floor with little view to entertain my toddler. The reception changed room from 9 to 12 which we were facing the main entrance of hotel. It could be nightmare as if not close window at night as people chatting or Road vehicles horn beeping sounds could be disturbance. We truly enjoyed the strong shower, absolutely beautiful breakfast and service. We asked for a fan as the weather was 29deg, and on top floor it could be liked a roasting tin.

Check in at 3pm and check out 10am. It is very limited for people who had travelled 5hrs to get there and wish to enjoy staying in the hotel. However, you can extend the check out by £10/hr.
