The host and the staff are very enthusiastic and share many stories and designs about this hotel
It would be perfect if the lighting could be better

Very lovely hotel and friendly staff. Enjoy the local vibes in the neighborhood very much! Grand Palace and national museum, etc. are all in walking distance. Very decent interior, and you even own a tiny balcony. The view of rooftop is also stunning.
There is a narrow window by the bed and no curtain for it, so it may be a little bit struggling in the morning…

SO NICE! 1. Superb very safe location 2. Walkable to all the must-sees: Thai Pier with ferry to Wat Arun, Wat Pho, Royal Place, Chinatown 3. Pristine bathroom 4. Comfy bed 5. Quiet room 6. Great AC and fan! 7. no mosquitos 8. Food (for Westerners stomachs!) and massage options on same street and just around corner! 8. Coffee shop downstairs! 9. Helpful host who also lives in the building! You will have a wonderful trip staying at this boutique hometel! Fascinating story behind Na Tanao too - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3TG9EjQmiQ&themeRefresh=1
Nothing! I am picky (ie notice details) and it was perfection.

Everything! This place is a dream, perfect location, great views from the roof, lovely team relaxed vibe and the coffee shop downstairs is amazing. The hotel recommended places to eat nearby and all were excellent we need to come back as 3 days was just not enough! The area is loud and vibrant so earplugs are necessary if you’re on the street side (the two premium rooms Jitta and Jira) but our friends stayed in the rooms at the back and said it was much quieter. If you don’t have your own the hotel kindly provide in the room anyway so we had a great night sleep regardless. The beds are also super comfy!

Na Tanao 1969 is absolutely incredible! It’s a modern architectural gem that blends with Bangkok’s Old Town in a unique way. The building has an open, airy design that immerses you in the city's atmosphere. The rooms themselves strike a great balance between the open concept and comfort, with large windows that allow you to stay cool with air conditioning while still feeling connected to the city. Yes, you’ll hear the sounds of Bangkok in your room, but we found it to be part of the charm! We stayed in the “Jitta” room (for its shower in the bathroom), and it was perfect. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. In the evenings, we could retreat to the great rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed some peace and quiet while taking in the views of the city. The hosts were absolutely incredible – they even went to get us food from a nearby street food stall after we struggled with the language barrier. Their kindness and hospitality made our stay truly exceptional! Staying at Na Tanao 1969 was truly an unforgettable experience! Thank you!

Really central location, walking distance to the major attractions in Bangkok, and it is not located in the busy and bustle shopping district but a more authentic neighborhood where you can find all kinds of street food. The Michelin guide recommended mango sticky rice is just nearby! The room is a bit small but it is understandable due to the location and its design, but it got vibes! The staffs are welcoming and friendly, and the internet is fast.
My only two criquets: 1. Not sure why in a such tight space there is an open bath tub instead of a closed shower. I always make a mess when I shower. 2. Not enough storage spaces in the room, I understand the space is limited, but there is a cabinet which I could not open and it can be a chest of drawers

I was only able to stay for one night as my room was already booked for the following days, and I didn’t want to miss out on this great place. I definitely would have stayed an extra 1-2 nights if I had the chance. I really loved the design of Na Tanao 1969 in Bangkok’s old town. The building features beautifully crafted rooms with a stunning mix of wood, steel, and concrete, creating a stylish yet comfortable atmosphere. The staff was also incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming vibe of the place. Overall, Na Tanao 1969 is a true gem in the district, seamlessly blending modern style with smart use of small spaces. With a few thoughtful upgrades, it has the potential to become an outstanding place to stay.
At the Room JIRA, the bathtub, toilet, and sink are in separate areas. The sink is located in the hallway, which is quite dimly lit, making it difficult to get ready. There’s also no hook for small towels, which would have been really useful. The only available power socket is in the sleeping area, which is fine for charging your phone but not ideal for blow-drying or straightening hair- especially since there’s no mirror there. Adding a mirror to the hangers would be a great improvement. And the tap in the bathtub didn’t work properly- no matter how I adjusted it, only cold water came out, so the bath was uncomfortably chilly. There was no hairdryer in the room, though it might need to be requested separately- I’m not sure.

A beautifully designed gem wedged into an unassuming gap between the bustling buildings of a well located Bangkok neighbourhood. The owner and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and their recommendations for food spots were exactly what we needed.
If you're a light sleeper this might not be the place for you. The road noise throughout the night was noticeable even while using earplugs.

Small but beautifully designed modern boutique hotel cleverly fitted into a gap between two blocks of older buildings. Decor was very chic, with attractive plants and subdued lighting, and lots of interesting classic and retro paraphernalia around the place. All the facilities are clean and modern and tastefully designed. The owner was very friendly and helpful, going out of his way to provide us with something we had mentioned but not expected. The hotel has a small cafe on the ground floor and a very attractive roof garden with great views over the city. The location is ideal if you want to be in the old town near the Grand Palace and the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho.
There are no views from the bedrooms as the windows directly face the walls of the buildings on either side. The bedrooms are designed to not require a door to close off the bedroom from the bathroom and have a toilet partially screened behind a wall. However, when we mentioned that we would have preferred more privacy in the bathroom, much to our delight, the owner immediately installed a curtain that we could pull across.

One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The building is an absolute architectural gem and all the details, the design, furniture, every space is a delight for the senses. The sunsets at the rooftop are magical. And the owner and staff are beyond friendly and nice, they have a great list of recommendations. I’m so in love with this place, I’ll definitely stay here every time I come back to Bangkok.
