Perfect location for an overnight stop on the way to Italy. The pool is a delight after a 14h drive. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Charging points for EV (not tried). Breakfast was surprisingly good and elaborate. Working AC! Decent restaurant. Would stay here again.

AC is pretty loud. Lots of noise from outside until 11-12pm. Could just have been some bad luck with the location of our room. Very pricy, but I guess that's just CH ...

I loved everything! Upon arrival, the girl at reception welcomed us with a huge smile! Very friendly and attentive. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable and very clean. Very good breakfast. Many thanks to the breakfast girl for her kindness and professionalism (thank you for the excellent scrambled eggs). We will back again for sure.

The hotel is located in the industrial zone, facing a busy road between Bellinzona and Locarno. Knowing this, we asked for a quiet room and the hotel gave us an upgrade, providing a room not facing the street. During our stay, all staff was extremely professional and helpful. The brilliant transport connections of the place well outweigh its 'industrial' location. Bus stop next to the hotel and railway station 10 minutes away on foot make a car practically unnecessary; within 10-20 minutes you can reach all major cities of Ticino, and with a little bit more - all major hiking trails of the area. Our room had a fresh and well-renovated feeling. The restaurant of the hotel is very good. Though slightly pricy, it is worth moneys spent, and also provides daily menus, not only at very affordable prices (on Swiss scale, of course), but also very tasty, matching the entire level of the restaurant. When we were there, the place was always crowded with locals. At breakfast, gluten- and lactose-free products are offered, which is a bit unusual in Switzerland and very important for some guests. If we come back to the area, we certainly will stay here again.

Breakfast is OK if you stay for one-two days, but I would say some more variety could be more adequate for the level of the establishment.

Good beds, spacious & clean family room, Fine breakfast. Easy that it also has a restaurant connected (so we could, tired from our, directly have dinner) Dinner of proper food well prepared. Personal very friendly. I think the proper score would be 8.5 (but that’s not possible on Booking :( We could continue our trip really refreshed in the morning, and for us that was most important!

Hotel style is not our style. (Interior) A pitty the pool was closed (I like a refreshing dive when I’m on the road) for maintenance. Route to the Hotel was different (more up/down hill) then I expected, (not dangerous at all!) on our way in from Italy.

The most friendly staff ever, they were very kind even before our arrival. They had prepared everything for our family. The swimming pool was perfect, also you can have some drinks and ice cream. The breakfast was superb, lot of choices, fresh fruits, cakes, and an awesome scrambled eggs prepared in the moment.

The location of Hotel La Perla was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We were driving up from Turin up to Zurich and wanted to visit Lugano and Locarno lastminute on the way, it was great to stop half way and close to the highway so we did not lose anytime. We did not arrive till late but the staff was really accommodating which we really appreciated. The Hotel has a lovely restaurant and our room was really clean and comfortable. Our room had a small bathroom but it was a good size for a couple and it was newly refurbish to a high standard. Breakfast was served in the restaurant in the morning and was a great spread with plenty of choice and it was very relaxing, the staff was on hand to assist you and were very friendly. I would definitely stay again and it was also good value.

From very friendly staff to a great pool area where one can relax and cool off. The food in the restaurant is very good quality and the service exceptional. The room was comfortable with a modern bathroom and fittings.
