The hotel is located on a quiet street in Wat Bo close to restaurants and supermarkets. It has a lovely garden with water features. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The staff were always polite, friendly, and helpful.

The shower was not hot and the TV was not connected to a signal of any kind.

The location was perfect! Not too close to the town, but easy/quick to walk in to it. The staff were superb, always there to help and were very polite! We also liked our Tuk Tuk driver Kim who works for the hotel guests. He gave us great service, and knowledge about Siam Reap and the history behind the temples.

The rooms are very dark, and could do with more lighting to be able to see better. Our garden had an overflow pipe from the room above us, which would flow directly on to our patio - this needs to be directed over the wall. It would also be better to have a buffet breakfast rather than 3 x fixed menus, to cater for differing food needs.

Beautiful hotel. The staff are very friendly and will help with booking anything you need. Some of them are still working on their English, but still do everything they can to help, even if that's getting someone else who understands you better! The pool is beautiful, just like the pictures and the swim up bar is a nice feature. Happy hour by the pool is buy 2 get one free, works out at $6 for 3!.. they honestly are the best cocktails I've possibly ever had! Especially the banana one and the margarita! Room was lovely with an open shower and patio, would have preferred a balcony but didn't need to spend anytime in it anyway! Very quiet location, $1 tuktuk to pub street or 15 minute walk on safe and lit road. There are always tuktuks outside to take you anywhere, day trips, shot distances etc!

They need to trim the hedges around the walkways, tickles as you walk by. Bed design is a bit weird, the pillow easily falls onto a ledge, we resolved by putting the decorative ones in the hole. We didn't particularly rate the food in the hotel, we had one breakfast and one lunch. But plenty around so please don't let that put you off!

Staff really welcoming and helpful. We had a big room, with plenty of space for the family. Very clean. Swimming pool and external area are small but really nice and enjoyable. The pool bar is also a nice touch, really fun. Breakfast simple but good. Location matching our taste : 15 min away (by foot) to the center of the city - calm area

AC was making a lot of noise Mattresses were a bit hard. Only one window for a big room so we had to have the light on all day. Staff lacking a bit of organization in the restaurant, having difficulties to manage when more than 2 families were joining the breakfast.

Quiet location, 5 minute drive to city center with lots of tuktuk options (only pay $1!) This hotel is beautiful, peaceful, amazing staff, and the rooms are large and very clean. There are beautiful ponds and trees throughout the property and awesome pool area as well. Great value for money, we did not want to leave!

They could have had more vegan meal options or offer tofu as a meat option. I could only really eat the congee with vegetables which was really good and flavorful but not much other options. However the staff microwaved as many leftovers I wanted from other restaurants!

I really enjoyed my 12 night stay at this lovely boutique style hotel which was perfect for me as the location was a short stroll (about 15 minutes) to the riverside and the Old market area and a good choice of shops and amenities etc whilst being an oasis of calm in a peaceful area but still with a plenty of choice of local restaurants, bakeries and supermarkets etc a short walk away. I also found the hotel staff to be very polite, friendly and helpful way beyond the service of many other hotels i've stayed in. which i really appreciated, and there is the option to have housekeeping daily or as required. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool with plenty of comfortable loungers in a lush tropical garden setting and there's a swim up bar and a restaurant also. And they also offer a range of services also such as arranging local tours, bus tickets, laundry etc. My room was very spacious and comfortable with a small balcony and a mini fridge, a TV and AC, a kettle, hot and cold water, and the bed was very comfortable. All in all i definitely recommend this hotel.

No lift to the upper floors but the staff kindly helped carry my suitcase to my room. And 2 of the light sin my room weren't working which made it quite hard to read in the evenings in such dim light (i'm sure the super helpful staff would have arranged for it to be fixed if i'd mentioned it but i didn't get round to it).

The staff were incredible, would go above and beyond for you. The hotel looks great, and is very peaceful. The hotel will sort everything you could possibly need out for you whether that’s laundry, tuk tuk drivers, tours, massages or bike rentals. Good location 10 minute walk to the river.

There wasn’t a TV, but this didn’t really bother us as we watched tv on our laptop. The room we had didn’t have much in the way of windows which felt just slightly enclosed. The main issue was the pool was not too dirty to swim in but definitely needed a deep clean. Instead of this the pool was quite strong with chlorine which stained a swimming costume and irritated our skin.

Liked the fact that our bungalow went out onto the pool area

Room not as completely as described as there were no dressing gowns or a TV as expected. The room more basic than expected and the fridge was very rusty. The advertised beauty treatments were not available only treatment was massage. Even though beauty treatments being advertised in the reception and in the room. Dinning needs attention. Salt and pepper pots need a wipe as do the chairs that are covered in finger marks. Advertised as a SHA plus standard cleaning needs looking at !!!!

I had a room directly by the pool. It was spacious, clean, bright, comfortable, nice shower, overall a pleasure to spend time in - or to just open the door and jump into the pool. I really liked the area with its closeness to the town center but far away enough from the business and especially night life noises - there are a couple of nice restaurants and cafés nearby and the riverside with more food/café options approx. 10 min walk away, depending on where you go - or grab a TukTuk. Water is provided daily in refillable glass bottles and can also be refilled at the reception, which saves a lot of plastic. For anyone wanting to use the in-house services (didn't make use of most, so can't review on quality) pretty much everything is available - bar (one in the pool), hotel restaurant, Tuk Tuk drivers (I did not feel hassled when I went out though), scooter and bike rental (as in most hotels, higher than outside rental prices in exchange for convenience to rent fairly easy), laundry service (3$/kg), booking your onward journey or (temple) tours. All of this will be mentioned and explained to you upon arrival by the lovely and very accommodating staff. So far one of my favourite places to stay in Siem Reap and in my case (not high season) it was exceptionally good value for money.

Loved our stay here. The staff were the best thing about the place. From the reception, to the restaurant, to cleaning and groundskeeping staff- everyone always had a warm smile and fantastic attitude. They really made us feel welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant had a good selection of local (and less local) cuisine, for those times when you don't want to venture out into the heat of the city. They were also very accommodating of food allergies. The pool area, bar, and restaurant are like a little oasis. Beautiful greenery and you can hear the music of the birds and frogs in the bushes and ponds around. Everywhere was very well kept and cleaned. while being quiet, the hotel location was still very good, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores around, and an easy 15 min walk to Pub Street for bars and night market. The tours the hotel helped us arrange were also fantastic. They book with local tour companies and local guides, so money is injected back into the local economy, and the communities you visit. Plus the guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. We did one tour to the temples around the Angkor Wat complex, and a couple of days after, a visit to the floating village on Tonle Sap lake. So worthwhile! The hotel were able to arrange a taxi shuttle to the airport for us for $29, which undercut the going rate quoted by taxi drivers and shuttle companies. Given the distance and inaccessibility of the airport from the city, this is a good and fair option for anyone who doesn't want to (or can't) wait around for the official sharebus to and from the airport on the limited timetable they run.

If being fussy, the facilities in the bedroom are a little tired. Although very tastefully decorated, there are some cracks appearing, and could do with a lick of paint. There was a family of ants starting to make themselves at home in the corner of our bathroom, but they didn't really bother us. It was very hot when we visited siem reap, and the air conditioning and refrigerator were not the best, but it made a considerable difference in the tolerability of the extreme heat. Just not quite as comfortable as we had been in the bigger or more modern hotels in neighbouring Thailand. But that's the trade-off you make for a more characterful, local place like Home Indochine. Overall, a fantastic experience.
