The guest house was lovely with a really nice lounge for residents to use. It was perfectly situated for our visit to the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. The room was comfortable, clean and had a lot of choice of teas, coffee, etc. It was decorated tastefully and breakfast was exceptional with a good choice on both mornings and served quickly. We especially loved the bacon! It was very peaceful at night despite being central in town which helped us to get a good night’s sleep. There was a good choice of pubs and restaurants to eat out and lovely independent shops. Parking was easy although we didn’t need to move the car for the two days we stayed.

The window was low down in our room due to being on the top floor and made it limited when looking out but we were out most of the time anyway. This didn’t ruin our stay at all and this is a lovely guest house.

What a beautiful little place to stay. After a long day's work I arrived to a warm welcome and was given the necessary information and my keys within minutes. Very professional and clearly very experienced. I've lost count of how many of these places I've stayed and sometimes hosts want to know your life story when you just want a shower! Room was absolutely immaculate, Luxury bedding and a bed that was like sleeping on a cloud! After exploring the town and having some delicious Indian food in a local restaurant I returned and enjoyed a very peaceful night. It was so quiet outside, I had the window wide open and all I could hear was the soothing lullaby of the rain as I drifted off to sleep. I had a full English for breakfast and it was of a very high quality and cooked to perfection. I honestly cannot think of anything that would have improved my experience and this is also bearing in mind that the price I paid was lower than many of the other offerings on booking.com

I honestly cannot come up with a bad point, ok I had to go downstairs to find a pen to fill.out my breakfast order! Terrible ha! Didn't give wifi full.marks as I only sent a single email!

Very comfortable bed and spotless room. Very friendly owners who were happy to chat at breakfast and offered plenty of tea, coffee, fresh juice, toast, cereal. Lovely stay!

Nothing really everything was great for me. The only thing I can think of is that my room only had a shower, this was fine for me as I like a shower in the morning but for people that prefer a bath it be worth considering and asking for room with a bath.

Breakfast was really good, service excellent and friendly. Garden was lovely, and it was great we had free onsite parking. Complentary wash products were nice and the shower was excellent. Loved the location and the check-in, check-out was very easy.

The room we had was on the second floor, kind of within the roof space. It was a little small, with a low ceiling and the bottom of the window started at floor level, making it difficult to see out of without crouching!

The location is excellent, a couple of minutes walk into town. The building is a listed Georgian house with excellent modern facilities and is spotlessly clean. Everything was very organised and any information we needed for our stay was clearly explained by the hosts on arrival. There wasn't anything to dislike about our stay. Excellent facilities, comfortable super king size bed, ensuite shower and toilet. We had a brilliant nights sleep. Breakfast was served at our table, which had been identified by the hosts on arrival at the property, the table number matched the room number. Breakfast was freshly cooked, served hot and was very nice.

The property was in the centre of town. It was very clean and welcoming. Room was bit small but perfect for us. It was warm and the windows opened which was also a bonus. Lovely outlook overlooking church steeple

Perfect position in Pickering. Free parking right outside and also at the back of the property if needed. Check-in was simple and quick. We had room no. 6 on 2nd floor in the eaves of the house. Very quirky and cosy. Comfy bed and pillows. Great wifi in room. Bathroom was small, but had everything you need. Walk-in shower. Plenty of hot water. Lovely toiletries. No wardrobe as the room was too small, but there was a clothes rail, which was fine. Plus full length mirror. There was a residents lounge with sofas and chairs, books on the locality, tv, fridge, plus wine glasses and pint glasses. Used on our 2nd evening after being out to a local Indian restaurant. Bought some drinks from local Lidl supermarket. Breakfast was lovely, full english. You had to order what you would like the evening before. You were offered juices, tea, coffee, plus toast and fancy jams. Plenty to eat. At the back of the property there is a gorgeous private garden with seating areas. Quiet and secluded. Beautiful flowers. Biggest poppies ever!

There were plenty of plugs in the room but perhaps one could have a USB socket. We managed to charge using the TV.

Superb breakfast, freshly cooked and good choice good system where you sit at the table number relating to your room number which is explained on arrival so avoids confusion. Location excellent, right in the centre close to everything Pickering had to offer. Clean and comfortable room what more could you want.

Breakfast was beautiful and well presented. Very obliging service. Very quiet location. Easy parking right outside the front door.

Perhaps some wooden hanging pegs on the wall to the left of the fireplace would be helpful to hang clothes on when dressing/undressing.
