The room was wonderful. They even have the option to sleep outside if you want. The pool area is so cool and they serve delicious cocktail. The food was very good too. Buffet options for breakfast and dinner with different game meats during dinner.

The only thing was that we booked a stargazing and scorpion watching tour and it lasted for like 10 minutes and the guy said that it was too cold for scorpions so he didn’t even look for them and that the moon was too bright so it would be hard to watch all the constellations. In my opinion, they should’ve let us know about this beforehand but we told them during check out and we at least got a discount

I booked Agama Lodge as a bday gift for my partner as we have been on the road camping. Agama is a beautiful lodge and is special due to its location. The main outdoor seating area behind reception open out to the mountain range view and the infinity pool looks onto it. The pool itself feels a little out in the open with the restaurant and outdoor tables facing it, but nonetheless , beautiful. There is a second small pool tucked away amongst the lodges which we took a moment for a cold refreshing dip ( it was winter ) before we got ready for buffet dinner. The location is stunning and what you pay for, watching sunset and sunrise is so special. Around the facility you can see warthogs and oryx walking around peacefully. The staff were helpful, friendly and made you feel at ease. There are a number of tours they support you to book as well as special treats such as skybeds. The rooms are clean and spacious.

My only issue is that there was someone else's hair on our bathroom walls and in the drain. For the price you are paying you'd hope that detail would not be missed. Also if you are vegan and gluten free, be prepared to not have much to eat. Veganism is not a thing in Namibia. If you are vegetarian you will be able to eat a few of the dishes.

If you are looking for a place to stay when visiting sesriem and sossusvlei dont look any further! this lodge was spectacular, it really exceeded our expectations, from the pictures you can't really tell how beautiful this place is. we arrived late in the evening and the staff waited for us and served us dinner at 23.00, including two vegan options since i requested them once i booked the property. the swimming pool is breathtaking and the rooms are so spacious and beautiful. the location is amazing and the breakfast and the meals served there are simply perfect.

Beautiful lodge, surrounded by natures beauty. The infinity pool was throroughly enjoyed in the African heat. Even better you could see warthogs and oryx's roaming around whilst taking a dip. The food and drinks was also very good. The rooms were spacious and clean. The AC much needed was very appreciated. The staff was all welcoming, friendly and willing to attend to us. The best part would be the "sleeping under the stars" experience. They setup an extra bed with sparkling wine and snacks on top of your chalet roof, to enjoy the starlight and you have the option to sleep outside. We decided to head back inside just before midnight because even though I enjoyed the starlight I wasn't going to sleep outside :) it was still an amazing experience. For our checkout day we had to check out early morning, they were so sweet and setup breakfast for us to ensure we have something to eat before we left. Thank you!

Loved everything of this property to be honest. Just a note: The road from Swakopmund/Walvis Bay is dreadful (that was where we came from) but it's no fault of the property. Just a heads up to others, drive slowly and vigilant and try to not drive at night. The road is quite bumpy and animals roam freely in surrounding areas. We had a zebra run out of the bushes into the road. Amazing but little nervous experience. So just a heads up, be patient you'll get there :)

The facilities are gorgeous -- sparkling pool next to a large and beautiful patio all overlooking a beautiful mountain range. The rooms were gorgeous, clean, with fresh crisp cotton sheets and beautifully designed with a large plate glass window with a dessert view. The sunsets were gorgeous and there were loads of different, comfortable outdoor spaces to soak in the view, the heat and the lovely setting. There are wild warthogs and Oryx all over the show and on view nightly. We LOVED this place. The staff was great too. The food was good. It's in the middle of NO WHERE - so if that is your thing, this is the place.

The only thing that I'd recommend is to sell wine (good wine) by the glass. the only way to have a glass of wine was to buy a whole bottle.

Most amazing pool area and view over the mountains. Fabulous food to order for lunch and gin and tonics. The buffet breakfast and dinners were also delicious. Rooms were huge and clean and equipped with coffee and tea. Efficient air conditioner unit in the room made sleeping pleasant. 10/10!! Photos don’t do this lodge justice, well worth the money.

Wifi didn’t work properly at the rooms or at the pool area but I believe they are working on having it fixed and it may not be an issue to some people.

Our stay was amazing. Everyone was super kind and helpful!! We want to mention 2 people in particular. First is the cook who is top notch! I don't know how he made those delicious meals, considering we were in the middle of the desert! Second is Lance; we went on the "Sossusvlei Excursion" with him and we had the best time! He is very knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the animals, dunes, history and (we also did the "Stargazing & Scorpion" Walk) the stars. He is so fun to be around and really made sure our stay was memorable.

Very spacious, well equipped, and spacious room - it's more than a room! Very good food choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent staff - professional, attentive, warm, and fun. Special mention to Berry and Helena. We did the guided tour to Sossusvlei dunes and deadvlei with Silva and Gift and we enjoyed it very much, including being with them. We spent one day relaxing by the pool and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The night-time stars and scorpion tour is not worth the cost (even though its not very expensive).

Very friendly and helpful staff that happily answered all our questions and made our stay spectacular. We stayed for 2 nights and booked the sky bed. Wow! We both loved watching the stars (and shooting stars!) whilst sipping on our sparkling wine. Stunning experience. We also did the stargazing & scorpion tour, where we could find out more about scorpions and actually got to see some. Quite fascinating. During the days we enjoyed spending time at the pool, where we watched birds and at times warthogs and oryx. Lovely place to relax and good place to start your trip to Sossusvlei/ Deadvlei.
