Peter welcomed us in and was a great help for informing us of places to go for evening meals. Exceptional host, lovely breakfast, very friendly, gave us recommendations of places to visit. Beautiful victorian house on residential street with car parking round the back of the house. Exceptional value for money, fresh towels and bedding, toiletries provided, drink facilities in room

This is a 3 star hotel and for a family room you really can't be beaten on price. It is dated, and rooms need a refurbishment and dusty. It wouldn't stop me going back, though.

Kind and welcoming host, knowledgeable about the area and things to do. The breakfast was great, lots of choice for two very fussy children! Family room was nice and spacious, plenty of room for us all to not be on top of each other. Its in a great location, close to pubs for food/drinks.

It’s a very dated property and needs some TLC in some places. Some parts of the room (especially bathroom) could do with a good deep clean. But as value for money goes couldn’t fault at all.

The hotel owner was absolutely lovely made us feel very welcome and could not do enough for us. Dogs are very welcome and the rooms are lovely & big and comfortable, breakfast was exceptional and nothing was to much trouble also got to meet his lovely mother too. Would highly recommend.

There is nothing to say even if I wanted to I couldn't find fault.

Reasonably comfortable bed, the owner was very knowledge and attentative, the location was perfect and close to town. Breakfast was exceptional and very tasty, fantastic car parking facilities

No soap in the bathroom, very little shampoo, location not sign posted very well.

Peter was very friendly and welcoming. Felt at home. His mother was lovely too

Can't say I didn't like it, but the decor was rather tired. The room was comfortable, but again, it could have done with being brought up to date.

Breakfast was great, and the owner paid us great interest and attention throughout our stay. His local knowledge of the area was exceptional and he was always eager to please. Additionally, very relaxed about rules for dogs which made our stay even more comfortable.

The heat in the shower worked in the other direction (i.e. had to move it towards cold to make it hotter). Also, the shower took many minutes to heat up.

Breakfast was delicious. Sausages, bacon and eggs came from farm shop and you would know. Cooked beautifully. Close to nursing home where I was visiting my aunt after travelling from Belfast. It meant I could walk to it. Lovely surroundings. Garden very well kept. Nice quiet relaxing stay. Excellent host.

Nothing.
