Comfortable, clean room and ensuite bathroom. The hosts were friendly & helpful & nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The access to the kitchen, washing machine & tumble dryer was much appreciated. The self-help breakfast was plentiful & had a good selection. It could be taken at a time to suit the guest, which was great if one wanted to have a lie-in. Location was good and within easy reach of places if interest etc. It was also in a quiet area. I will definitely stay here again if in Stonehaven.

TV reception seemed to be affected by the weather at times.

Michal walked along to meet me and show me the way to the building. He almost single handledly managed to haul my heavy electric wheelchair up over the 1 high step, in. I had the whole of the ground floor, plus access to a small enclosed garden and full use of the facilities, which was great, as I had my Assistance dog with me. Lovely good sized bedroom with all the facilities you could wish for, for an overnight stay. Continental breakfast, with lots on offer. Michal arrived after 9am, with milk and other provisions and took my wheelchair, backwards, back out the front door, helped me with my bags and even gave me directions to where I wanted to go. 10+ /10 for everything.

Perhaps could invest in a strong board or ramp, to save Michal from having to haul wheelchairs in and out of the building. For other and future wheelchair users too. Not really a "not like" comment.

The room was lovely and comfortable with excellent facilities and a nice clean bathroom. The staff were very responsive and friendly when I rang asking about how to enter the property. The location was excellent for local shops, restaurants, bars etc. and also very close to the beach for walking and relaxing.

The breakfast was a bit basic and it would have been good to have some healthier options available, like wholemeal bread and healthier breakfast cereals. Also, some real coffee, rather than just instant, would be an improvement for the breakfast facilities.

we booked this room as i twisted my ankle and needed somewhere to rest while my partner went to the castle and we could store bags till we got the night train back later on. best thing was they let us check in earlie, gave me the ground floor and cooking a meal the kitchen before our train- using a kitchen like that is like heaven, sharp knifes, industrial oven/ hobs, good pans ! Wasnt sure if it was a loud but a gentleman said when we arrived it was ok to use. it was very central - good location. good taxi servies in stone haven for those on foot . £4-5 train station to town .

room seemed a bit dark and dingy - but fine for the price and on a budget

I liked the independence of self check-in and self-service breakfast. It's a very laid-back set-up there. It did feel like a home and would be suitable for longer stays as you don't have the regimented breakfast routine. I was also able to store my bike in the garage in the back garden. The location is great, right in the centre of pretty Stonehaven. They also have paid laundry facilities (£10 wash and dry).

Great location and parked my bike right outside. Room was very clean tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was good and for continental fairly comprehensive maybe some meats and a boiked egg would have been superb. Close to the town where i got a great meal and a pint All in all after a long days ride i was very happy indeed and had a restful night.

Nothing well sorted and a great place.

It's a perfect place to stay if you like to just come and go and look after yourself. Easy wall from the train station (about 10 minutes). Room and bed was super comfortable, shower was great. Breakfast is a serve yourself buffet which is great. There is also a kitchen that is available. I was staying for pleasure and wanted to go out predawn to take photos. I did that and came back to make breakfast before anyone else was awake. Although hands off, the hosts were very responsive and helpful when contacted.

Great Location ,very easy checking in, booked ground floor single clean and tidy with great shower and nice bathroom ,very comfy bed slept very well ,plenty of choice for the self service continental breakfast .

Tv reception was not good might just have been location ,Could maybe use a blackout blind ,Sun streaming in at 5 in the morning , carpet might need a shampoo in the future .

Friendly staff on arrival, great location, easy parking outside. Very clean and allowed our dog to stay with us for no extra fee. Coffee and breakfast items freely available.

Our room was directly above the back door where other guests smoked so could smell it when the window was open. Closing the window solved this though.

My key to the room was left in a little envelope so I was in my room in no time. The room itself had everything needed for an overnight stay. Tea & coffee making facilities, a flat screen tv, a comfortable single bed and a very nice shower. Breakfast is self service at any time you like, so I had my cereals & yoghurt at 06:15, washed my dish in the kitchen, left my key in the hallway and was on my way by 06:30. For business this place is perfect but a holiday visitor might prefer a host for check in and to serve breakfast.
