The genuinely helpful and responsive hotel concierge/?proprietor was keeping an eye out for me when I arrived and made sure I did not try to register at the Cacco contractor guest-house several doors down from 'Snooze'. The room was large enough to comfortably contain a big double bed, a small work-surface level bed-side table that held a kettle and pair of cups with saucers and enough tea-bags, coffee sachets and fresh milk portions for my overnight stay and an open wardrobe forming and alcove containing a chest of drawers entirely suitable for one person's overnight requirements, along with my large peices of hand-luggage and music equipment. I was relieved that room window was open in a ventilating setting suitable for the hot weather of the day. The horizontal surfaces of the bed-side table, alcove and carpeted floor were clean and free from dust. The comfortably soft bed was neatly made up with clean linen, four pillows and a duvet suited to the hot weather. The bed-side hot drinks preparation table was served by two plug-points for personal equipment, and additionally equipped with two or three helpful 15watt USB Type A power charger connection sockets.

The room did not have its own private running water, wash basin or bathroom providing toilet and bath or shower facilities. Instead, three properly cleaned and maintained shared bathrooms with toilet, washbasin and shower facilities were to be found at the end of the corridor. I never had to wait. There was no safety shaver point suitable for charging or using shavers or for charging electric toothbrushes. On an occasion after the convenient electronic combination lock on my room door had worked perfectly several times, the visit-allocated combination helpfully also working on the hotel's outside security door, it became stuck in the locked position, and I needed help from the patient and capable concierge to make it release and give me access to my room.

I have stayed here several times and know I will get a clean, comfortable room at a very reasonable price. The location suits the purpose of my visit and the free public parking just round the corner is a big plus point. The hotel is always spotlessly clean

I have no complaints. The Snooze hotel was as good as it always has been!

the bed was comfortable and a kettle was available in the room to make tea/coffee. Checking in was easy and staff were on call 24 hours though we never had to call them.

Doors were too noisy; if you had to get up in the night (and I always do) it was impossible to be quiet so as not to disturb other guests; the door latches closed with a bang that sounded almost like a gun going off. Also the smoke alarm kept flashing all night.

room very clean, one mattress was bit too soft though. As we were only staying one night was not much of a problem.

check was too abrupt, 11.00am would be better. However we did drink our coffee in the reception area to get us going in the morning. Which was OK ! ( Not a morning person)

The staff were friendly and really helpful, the room was really nice and accommodating with my belongings and the premises felt secure and safe for my stay.

The receptionist was excellent helped with my bags and connecting me to the wifi. The room was compact but quite adequate with everything you needed even an iron and hair dryer. Very quiet room and right in the old town center so close to shops and several take away outlets.

Nothing really the hotel exceeded my expectations and I will be returning as it is close to my place of work and very good value for money.

Great value for money. The guy on reception was polite and professional, good tea and coffee facilities, can’t fault it for the money. Excellent Chinese takeaway a few doors away.

There was a mix-up with my reservation, but the guy at reception was very professional and cordial and found me a room in a different annex. The room itself was on the small side but had everything. Including a fridge, microwave, and a fan.

I stay here quite a lot so know what to expect. In the town so near restaurants, take a way's and pubs.

The room was cold when I went in, however, I went to reception who came in and fixed the problem - it was turned off at the socket so my fault really!!

The room and en-suite bathroom were very clean and had everything we needed (nice TV, hot water and clean towels, comfortable bed etc). The lady on the reception was really pleasant, and when we mentioned to her that the toilet seat was loose, we were impressed that the owner came around and replaced the toilet seat within a couple of hours, during which time I had a nice chat with him, The place has a very friendly, calm feel to it. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel was also much appreciated.

The only thing that surprised us was that our room did not have a window, although a room fan was provided. As we were only using the hotel as a base to sleep in, this was not really a problem for us.
