Stone Stable Cottage is a converted stable with a rustic design. It is located at the front of the property and is adjacent to the homestead and main reception area. With its modern features, the chalet features a beautiful courtyard and outdoor spa area. Hidden Valley has a number of orchards located on the property. The Stone Stable is located adjacent to the main residence and a short distance from the main operating area of the farm, therefore it can be affected by general work noise. The main residence houses the property working dog and at times these dogs may bark however every effort is made to ensure that during normal sleeping hours there is no undue noise within the chalet vicinity from the farm or house areas. The price of this chalet reflects this in comparison to the chalets located in the forest.

I loved the peaceful surroundings nestled in nature, right among the forest. The serenity of the area made it feel like a true escape, where you can relax and connect with nature without any distractions. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the tranquility of the forest setting.

While the property was beautifully situated in nature, our cottage, the Stone Stable Cottage, was right next to the owner or property manager’s area. The frequent coming and going of their work vehicles interrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere and reminded us that we weren’t truly alone out there, which took away a bit from the secluded experience we were hoping for.

Liked everything about the property, from the location to the chalet. Everything was tidy, needs a manual for the chalet however. We weren’t able to get the conductor oven fan to work and didn’t know if we were just missing a switch. Utilities, pots etc all good standard and was a plus to the chalet. Bed was extremely comfortable. Flies did get in but a spray was provided which was good. The views were amazing and so was the tranquility of it all. Loved the decking and outdoor bbq, very easy to work too! Privacy was great.

Not necessarily didn’t like but would have rathered a manual on the property outlining all switches, how to operate the bbq and oven etc. oven fan wouldn’t turn on. In our description it was ticked that there was a spa bath and a hot tub. Please make this known on the booking, either or. We were under the impression there would be a hot tub and to our dismay there wasn’t one. Other than that the stay was amazing.

It was a beautiful location, very isolated. The facilities were excellent. Bed was comfortable to sleep in. Location is also great, not too far from all the shops and excitement in margaret river.

Kind of inevitable but just a pre-warning that there are no blinds on any of the windows which feels kind of odd at nights when you can't see who's outside, and wakes you up at 5am every morning with the light that comes through. It was also a bit tough to get to sleep as the animals outside would make quite a bit of noise. Given it's a forest retreat all the above is kind of expected, we just hadn't thought about it prior to booking.

We had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed how peaceful and quiet the location was. Having a wood fire and spa bath was perfect for a winter stay. The cabin was clean, had great amenities, and a very comfortable bed.

Some small improvements I would recommend include: 1. Ant control. We had ants throughout our kitchen and on dining table so had to store our dry food on the coffee table which was a tad inconvenience. 2. Warn guests about hunting activities. There were gun shots close by when we were having a bath which made us feel a bit unsafe and exposed. Despite these minor inconveniences we had a great time and would certainly stay again.

So gorgeous clean and peaceful and the setting is amazing !! The house is so minimal and the windows so so clean (would love to know how they can get so clean it looks like no windows !) We felt so in nature .

Well it’s isn’t much really but one thing was the power points were a bit of a strange set up we had to use one inside a cupboard and heel swapping the jug to coffee machine etc but hey it wasn’t that bad ! Also no soap bar holder on sink so perhaps a hand wash bottle or provide one so as we don’t spoil the gorgeous bathroom :) that is all !! And that’s being very picky ( more of a suggestion )

Beautiful location. Nice and secluded. Surroundings and trees around properties are beautiful. Comfy beds and nice facilities ie bathroom and kitchen.

Isn't really much I didn't like. Only thing I'd recommend for the wilderness cabin would be a bigger fridge and maybe not having a glass table in the living area as smacked my leg during the night getting out of bed to go to the toilet but everything else was brilliant.

It was exceptionally clean I could not pick up any dirt or dust anywhere. I loved that when you woke up there was forest all around. The shower with full glass view of the forest was beautiful and everything was placed just right the spa was so big. The service of fire wood was 100% we visited caves in the area, lake cave with the water was amazing. It would be more relaxing if we took all our food with us instead of eating out a couple times. The property is to good to leave for the day. We will be back it’s now rated in our top three of return holiday breaks.

There was nothing to not like although be aware most wineries for food are open towards the end of the week not the beginning

The seclusion and quietness is exactly what we were looking for, for a much needed rest from busy day to day life. The outdoor bath absolutely amazing. The wildlife that inhabit the area was varied and great to see. All happy to show themselves to us. Very unique to see Quenda, Brushtailed possums, kangaroos, tawny frog mouth owls, bobtail lizard and others that were a little more shy but definitely out there.

Honestly this place exceeded all my expectations. It was beautiful, heading into the property in the car the views were beautiful. Such a lovely property - deepwater was stunning. A big space in kitchen /living area, all the essentials in the kitchen and a map of the south west on the table. Some nice choccies on the bed. Such a magical and tranquil location and got to switch off from using technology.

We loved that the cabin was completely secluded and private. We didn't see another soul while we were there and it was just so relaxing to be that close to nature with no worries of having to entertain anyone, just us and the beautiful wood fire and inquisitive black cockatoos!

There was nothing we didn't like about the stay at all. Everything you need is in the cabin and the shops are only 10min away if we needed.
