The ambience, the staff, the location, the rooms were all excellent. We absolutely loved staying there and will definitely be back / very close to the Gemstock Gondola and the buses stop 20 meters from the property. It’s small and intimate and the owners are very welcoming,

The only thing that could have made our stay better was access to a machine machine - but did not affect our stay and certainly not our experience.

It was a staff free arrival so self check in. No big issue. Rooms were OK, just a bit dated. Parking was outside on the side of the guesthouse. Breakfast was good.

Apparently they have the best restaurant in town, however. when we were there it was the only night of the week it was closed. As a result, I didn't pre plan and book somewhere else and there wasn't a great selection in the town. Most places were already fully booked and we ended up eating in a pizza/burger type joint

Incredibly friendly; really lovely breakfast and a great restaurant for dinner. Room was very clean, comfortable beds. Perfect for a weekend ski trip with my son We had trouble on our journey out, so arrived very late, without our luggage. They were really helpful throughout. Thank you!

Only problem we had was that the rooms were incredibly hot. So we slept with the windows open (which felt a bit mad in December). But this didn’t detract at all from our stay

Overall I liked the support staff/owner who helped me on a number of items from finding the right souvenir to finding the only doctor who could prescribe ibuprofen! Her English skills were very impressive! I liked that they were able to have us check in at noon rather than 2 PM. Also check out is at 11 AM which is also more convenient than 10. The breakfast was excellent with much variety to choose from. The shower had very high pressure which is excellent! The restaurant was also very nice and cozy.

The only drawbacks I could see were that the rooms were not controlled with separate thermostats. We could only open the windows at night which worked when everything was quiet. Also the wall to wall rug was quite thin which lacked a little comfort.

Nice family hotel; next to the Gemsstock cable car. The room are clean, beds are comfortable, the people here are very friendly. It was our second stay in this hotel, a very good place to enjoy ski in Andermatt. This time we also could enjoy dinner at the restaurant there; very tasty.

The staff is very welcoming! I really loved it. We visited several places that melted my heart. (accessible by car) If traveling during the off-season, I recommend using a car as not everything is open and easily accessible on foot (the free private parking was very useful on this point). I would love to return to go skiing during the high season.

the location was great! Andermatt is a small town, you can easily walk anywhere. the hotel is located about 100 meters from the Gemsstock gondola, and there is a bus stop right there as well. the room was large, clean, and cozy. they have heated storage for your skis/snowboards, and boots which was nice. breakfast is fairly standard for europe, but more than enough. the restaurant also has good food. But it was the staff that really made the stay wonderful. I’ll stay here again

be nice if the room had a small fridge to store food/snacks/drinks

The hotel was great and welcome was generous. Rooms were not en-suit which we had known about so that ws fine, but they were clean and tidy and the beds comfy. Breakfast was fine and the Hotel offered to help us to park our motorcycles indoors which was kind of them.

This was a lovely hotel, in such a great location. It's a beautiful town with a lovely river flowing throughout it. Great views of the mountains. The room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing negative to say about this hotel, it was excellent value for money.

Everything was very clean, well located, the staff is very nice, the bathroom although shared with only one room, was always clean and never had to wait. The breakfast was outstanding with even some vegan options for milk products. Good value for money
