From the moment we stepped into the Giza Pyramids Inn, we were enveloped in a warmth that only true hospitality can provide. The hosts weren't just attentive; they felt like friends, always ready with a smile and eager to assist with our needs. Their knowledge of Cairo, shared through handy pamphlets for tours and activities, enriched our experience beyond measure. Our room was a cozy haven, offering comfort and relaxation at a reasonable price. Even a minor issue with a cracked bathroom door was easily overlooked, as it did nothing to lessen the inn's charm. The crown jewel of our stay was breakfast on the rooftop. As we savored delicious food, the view before us was mesmerizing - the pyramids and the Sphinx, illuminated by the morning sun, provided a backdrop so surreal, it felt like stepping into a dream. In every aspect, the Giza Pyramids Inn is a heartwarming choice for anyone visiting Cairo. It's where ancient wonders meet modern hospitality, creating an experience so unforgettable, it feels like a journey into the heart of Egypt. Our stay was not just a stay; it was a cherished memory in the making.

The only thing I'd say that was slightly inconvenient was the shower was a little tight. It didn't take away from the experience but it was tight.

This is THE BEST location for an authentic experience. Authentic meaning you get to sleep at the nose of the Sphynx, with the view of of the three mesmerizing Giza Pyramids. With the traffic of horses, donkeys and camels at every sunrise and sundown. Beautiful. BUT. Also means some smells ( I was fine, my teenage daughter not so much), a lot of dust coming not from the desert but from the neighbours working their pick-hammers on the roofs, preparing the buildings for another storey to rise, not being able to get out of the hotel without being assaulted by a horde of beggars and vendors that came after us like it was their last chance to make some money to survive. Probably because they felt like it. Factuals: First, an exceptional service the inn provides (by request) to people arriving at strange hours> pick-up at the airport. Our experience was very good. The linens were very clean, the room not so much. We stayed in a „deluxe apartment” that could sleep at least 7 (we were only three, but teenage daughter). Hot water never an issue, a delight after a day of walking. KFC, Pizza Hut just around the corner. Internet never worked in the 6 nights we spent there (the management said it was a problem in the whole neighbourhood, no way to verify that, but anyhow it is a good ideea to get an option for internet from your carrier before you get there, otherwise it is an extravagance). Very good breakfast: boiled eggs, some ham, cheese, vegetables, fruits, honey, jam, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea Breath taking view on roof top terrace. The inn shares a wall with a 4* hotel that charges at least 4 times as much (we checked) and you can't change the neighbours, the dust etc. There is also a 5* hotel nearby, more money, same problems, not by far as good view.

The deflated balloons stuck with tape on the ceiling of the „deluxe apartment”. The unevenness and even bit of slope we could feel on the floor in the room. Many, many steps (no elevator) to get there

Amazing view from the roof, great with free pickup from the airport. Helpful staff and adequate breakfast. Right next to the pyramids ticket office and entrance. Easy to get an Uber to go to GEM too, not far away.

The area around the hotel is not very well kept and there are a lot of vendors and touts which will feel bothering pretty quickly. It would also have been nice with a window in the room, but perhaps it makes sense in summer not to have it to keep the room cool.

The hotel is basic but has everything you need and the location is amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful, rooms buf enough and equiped with fridge and TV with international channels. We chose a room with balcony which looked out onto the bustling street below. The free breakfast is served on the roof with the most amazing views of the Pyramids and Sphinx, we had an excellent view of the sound and light show. We wouls definitely visit this budget hotel again, it was everything we needed for 2 nights.

Location is great- a minute walk from Sphinx booking office (to see Pyramids). Even better is view from terrace where you have breakfast. It has one the best view of all pyramids and sphinx. The breakfast in front of wonders of the world is priceless. Hotel is 2 minutes walk from Pizzahut & KFC. There are other restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. All tour operators will pick up/drop off. We had spacious suite with good size bathrrom. Towels changed and room cleaned on request. The complimentary airport pickup was faltless eventhough our flight landed early morning approximately 2:30am and was delayed. The check in around 4am was short, swift and very smooth. The breakfast was good. Communications with hotel was excellent. The staff were poliet, helpful and very attentive. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Nothing. To be honest the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Phenomenal location and great little roof terrace, the breathtaking view of the sphinx and all pyramids having breakfast on the terrace is something we will never get over! The guys working there are all very lovely and extremely helpful!

The room is OK, nothing great but not bad either. The road can get loud at night. The shower cabin on our bathroom was so small it was like showering in a coffin! Plus it was broken on one side with a hole at around knee level. It also took ages for water to drain through the shower. Luckily my husband and I can look past these minor discomforts and enjoyed our stay!

Highlight of our stay in Giza, outside of the pyramids of course. Right by the ticket office and with a fantastic view, it has the perfect location to stay at while in Giza. The hotel staff was really nice and accommodating.

Spend max 2 nights there, enjoy the nice restaurant by the pyramids entrance then move on. Giza is hell on earth. I have never been in such a place as unfriendly to mankind as this one

Pyramid and sphinx views from the rooftop were fantastic! Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, although nothing fancy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Can of beer cost $5 which was outrageous (albeit it was during Ramadan - not sure if that impacted the price). A chair in the room would be handy, plenty of room in there for one.

The staff was very friendly, we felt great. The view of the pyramids is incredible, the terrace is open 24 hours, and I think it's a plus from my point of view. I don't think I've ever been to a location where I felt like I was part of a family. I recommend it.
