Great location! We had two deluxe rooms with private hut tub on the 2nd floor with a family of 5. We stayed 4 nights. The rooms were very comfortable, although the beds had very weird feeling mattress and pillow covers (like they worry you will wet the bed). Nice bathrooms, good shower and fresh towels. The pool is lovely, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast! They offer comfy pooltowels and towels for when you head to the lagoon. Free drinking water refills in glass bottles was a big plus!

We didn’t bother asking, but we didn’t get hot water in the jacuzzi/ hot tub. In one of the bathrooms there were no hooks to hang up your towels. we got fresh towels every day, even though we didn’t need/ ask for them by putting them on the floor. They give you the option to keep your towels, but replace them anyway. We love fresh towels, but keeping them for an extra day is better for the environment.

What wasn't there to like?! From start to end, my stay here was amazing! The staff was friendly and very helpful, the breakfast was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing. I even enjoyed waking up to the exotic bird chirping and falling asleep to the storms rolling in (that was just pure luck!). The property has less than 20 rooms and felt very home-y. Everything I wanted was within walking distance too!

The location of the hotel is really perfect, right in the centre of bacalar, a few steps away from the heavanly lake and on walking distance from many restaurants. The bathroom and room are quit big for the price of the hotel, a nice bed and good shower. Also modern furniture, a little fridge, nothing to say about that :-)

As for practically all the hotels in Mexico, the isolation isn't that good so there's a lot of street noise which you can hear in the rooms. The wifi works just at the entrance but not in the rooms

Everything, The architecture of the place, the incredible service, there is always someone to attend to any need, we had an inconvenience because we had a flat tire of one the bikes we rented and they were very kind not to charge us that day of rent. We appreciated it a lot. Breakfast delicious, chill environment. Perfect location because is close to the Lagoon Pier but also close to downtown and the ADO terminal, in a secure and quiet zone. We definitely recommend it and would come back 😊❤️

- very bad welcome arriving at the hotel. No smile, no welcome words , .... - they have a bar with alcool but they pretend they just serve beers.... - uncomfortable bed - cold water for the jacuzzi - very poor service - very noisy room due to lack noise proof isolation (we hear the dogs barking all night long, thousands of birds etc....but there are ear plugs at the reception) - no flexibility in nothing

Loved the look and feel of the property and the jacuzzi in our room. Liked the interior concept of the place. The staff was good and helpful

We were sent a form to fill in our preferences before we arrived, however I dint see any of them being out to use. Also we were asked our arrival to saying that they will keep the AC on so that is cool when we come in.. only to be disappointed that it wasn't switched on and it was extremely hot and we had to give it a good 30 mins to cool. Breakfast options were very limited.

The hotel itself was really really lovely, it always felt clean and safe. The rooms have great facilities, are very tasteful and relaxing. The location was great for us too and overall this place is seriously great value for money! And the fact breakfast was included too was fab.👏🏼🤗

Two very minor improvements could be made: At breakfast the fruit was often finished and not restocked (but given breakfast was included I feel I really shouldn’t complain as it was overall fab) Rent bikes from elsewhere - the hotel bikes are very uncomfortable😅

The place is very pretty, cozy, very comfortable, a few minutes walking to the centre and public free beach. The staff were always very nice and welcoming. Very nice place to stay, definitely recommend it. The only thing that can improve maybe having more variety buffet for breakfast. We've stayed on the top floor and sometimes the WiFi can be a bit difficult, but that only should be an issue if you really really need it. It works perfectly on the 1st and ground floor and if you're on holiday then it is more than enough.

Beautiful little gem of a hotel with very attentive and friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Pool was a little small and not enough lounges for number of guests, but was ok as mainly spent time at Laguna (which is a 5min walk away) or in centre of Baclar (5-10min walk away). Would definitely recommend if planning to spend a couple of days in the area

AGAM hotel was a wonderful surprise. My girlfriend and I stayed here three nights and were captured by the good vibes of this small boutique hotel. The staff working here is so kind and always with a smile. The rooms are aesthetically pleasing and well cleaned. Breakfast the plus of the hotel; in fact, the menu is extensive and the cuisine is express. The hotel has a nice pool that is very relaxing and never too crowded making it ideal for an evening dip. You can choose to have room cleaning service every day (you are asked while you are having breakfast), and although the hotel does not have private parking, the area is extremely safe and you can leave your car in front of the hotel without any problems.
