Everything. The house and the patio are beautiful and very tastefully appointed. Our room was very beautiful and had everything you could wish for (except maybe an armchair or a small sofa). The staff and the owner Manuel were very friendly and welcoming. Manuel even has his own craft beer brewery and stocks the minibar in each room with his product 👍😊 The breakfast was also very good and included lots of homemade products incl. jams (pineapple, strawberry and pumpkin), homemade breads, etc. We came with a car and parked it in the nearby Parking (Paseo de la Ribera) which was only a 5min walk to the hotel and not to outrageously priced.

Only the coffee was not quite to our taste (but we are also coffee aficionados and have high standards for coffee).

I recently spent one night at Hotel Casa de los Azulejos in Córdoba with my Mom, and it truly felt like home. Managed by a lovely family, the hospitality of the owner made our stay extra special. The hotel’s architecture and decoration are captivating, especially the beautiful courtyard filled with beautiful plants. I honestly felt like I was visiting my grandparents' house, surrounded by warmth and nostalgia. One of my favorite aspects of our stay was the homemade breakfast. We enjoyed fresh bread, delightful jams, along with fresh fruits and great coffee. It was a perfect start to our day! After breakfast, we spent some time on the terrace soaking up the sun and listening to the soothing sounds of water from the small birka—such a peaceful experience. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of downtown Córdoba, making it easy to explore many attractions, markets, and restaurants within walking distance.

Nothing, even though I new that they don't have a lift (for my mom) but I wanted to try this place for a special experience.

The hotel used to be a private house, and to some extent still is – the owner Manuel Luque greets you in person, and we felt almost as if we were his private guest. The internal courtyard and staircase are spectacular, and the room we had remarkable, with the largest fireplace I have ever seen in a domestic setting (incongruous when it was 31 degrees outside, and indeed Córdoba has a reputation as the hottest city in Spain, but it can go down to 4 degrees in January apparently). Manuel runs a small brewery, and his beer is available in an honesty bar next the (small but pleasant) swimming (well, plunge, really) pool in the back courtyard. Excellent breakfast. Very close - fifteen minutes' walk max – to all the sights/sites.

Nothing really – given the location it would be unreasonable to expect the swimming pool to be larger. There is very limited parking on site, but that doesn't matter too much, since an excellent and large public carpark is about ten minutes' walk away. The hotel sent us all the details of that in advance.

The Hotel Casa de los Azulejos is absolutely delightful. The welcome was first class, and the manager was friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated close to the Roman Temple in Cordoba, and within walking distance of all the central sites. The building is charming with a beautiful central internal courtyard. The room was very pleasant, and the breakfasts were superb, featuring amongst other things homemade breads and preserves, fruits and cheeses. I would thoroughly recommend the hotel, and will definitely book there when we return to Cordoba..

Beautifully refurbished patio house, centrally located in a friendly neighbourhood, away from the busy and touristy area around the mesquita/cathedral. The English speaking owners are kind and knowledgeable about local restaurants (lots of recommendable ones within a short distance – the traditional Salinas just around the corner is a must try) and the hotel has a welcoming and homely atmosphere. Spacious room with owner’s own (very good) craft beer brand in the fridge and an excellent homemade breakfast served next to the patio.

The hotel is set in an attractive part of Cordoba, just a short walk to the main sights. The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful. Rooms are set around an attractive courtyard. Our room had a lovely private terrace that in a warmer season would have been an ideal place to sit, but the room itself was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. Our bathroom was particularly spacious with a wonderful shower. Breakfast was pleasant with bread, cakes and jams made on the premisis. The hotel is a relaxed and welcoming place to visit an attractive city.

We had the warmest welcome from Manuel, the owner, when we walked into the beautiful courtyard of this hotel. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and provided everything that much more expensive places offer. He also gave us fantastic recommendations for places to eat and sites to visit. The breakfast room is beautiful and Celia makes three or four different breads every morning as well as the marmalade and other jams and is delightful. Maria was on hand in the afternoon who also was warm, lovely and helpful. The hotel is in a fantastic location.

Booked in for two nights as we pass through Córdoba on the Camino Mozárabe and were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay to three nights. Great location on a quiet street in the old city, this is a traditional town house with many original features. Very comfortable rooms and very attentive staff. It is also the owner's home and we were made to feel very welcome. Specially prepared breakfast and craft beer are a speciality of the house.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and arrived by car. The parking lot was just a 3-minute drive or a 5-minute walk away. The hotel itself was exactly what I wanted to experience in Cordoba—authentic old Spanish style, with original floors and doors. At the same time, everything was very clean. The staff was amazing; they helped us with parking and gave great advice on places to visit.

It was really hot in August, so we wasn't able to enjoy the patio of our room.

Casa de los Azulejos is a magnificent patioed house in the heart of Old Cordoba, perfectly situated to access all of the historical sites of this fabulous city. When looking into the courtyard from the street you are drawn into this authentic traditional Andalusian mansion inside of which all is exactly as it has been for centuries. Our host, Manuel welcomed and looked after us with discreet and perfect attention. There is no better way or place to get a feel for the cultural heritage and style of life in Andalusia.
