This is one of the very few properties I could find nothing wrong with, and I am a hotel owner myself and am usually very critical. Here are the top 5 things I liked. 1)AMAZING and VERY CHEAP restaurant at the property. For $2-$3 usd you can try the best of Balinese food leaving no incentive to go to other restaurants. 2) very friendly staff (seems like there is more than one staff per each of the 7 bedrooms working at the property which is a bit funny). Wifi is good at an avg of 40mb/s 3) Amazing flowers, statues unique lanterns and hand-drawn paintings all over the property, gardens and pool area. The hotel has an anicent, mystical ambience with many areas great for photos. 4) only 7 rooms when full means the pool is almost always empty and the restaraunt makes the food fast with a lot of attention to detail. This includes the tasty breakfast. 5) The 2nd floor of the 2 bedroom villas has you half surrounded by glass walls. You wake up with a 180 degree view of trees and nature and bird/animal noises.

nothing. We feel we got too much for the money we paid as it is. Here are 2 tips: BE CAREFUL when you use money changers in the area which give a much better rate than the rest. They will ALWAYS rip you off for up to half of the money you change. Count your money LAST and don't let them touch your money after you made the final count. Order motorbikes from online sites with delivery if you want to save up to 50% on motorbikes.

The Property offered a very quiet environment making it easy to fall asleep every night. The facilities were clean and the hosts were friendly and polite. The breakfast we got every morning was delicious and looked very clean and well made.

The location of the property is a bit upsetting. If you want to go to the town centre I’d recommend getting a taxi, otherwise you’re walking 20-30 minutes from the accomodation. Secondly, and the only bad thing upon the cleanliness side. While swimming in there pool, which is lovely by the way. Their dog ( I don’t know if it’s wild or tamed) walked over to the pool and started drinking from it. I don’t know how clean this is and it made me no longer want to swim in the pool.

We really liked the charm of the Villa. Good mosquito nets. Very comfy beds. Good location, can walk down to lots of restaurants. The breakfast was amazing! They were very friendly and helpful.

Villa was big enough for 2 and perfectly clean, breakfast was delicious. Location really convenient to the Campuhan ridge walk or to city center (even by walk, but I would rather use Grab than walking).

Our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa with air-con in the bedrooms and private pool was a dream. It had an open rustic kitchen which was not cooled, but had a big fridge. The pool was amazing, you had total privacy and the gate locked anytime you went out and when you were in. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Lovely accommodating family, lovely breakfast. We had lunch there as well, beautiful. It is such a peaceful place, very quiet and private. It felt so Balinese. There were some warungs and bars close by.

It was a little distance from the centre. Walking in was ok, but big hill coming back. There were bars warungs and convenience stores close by. Grabs readily available for transport.

This is lovely accommodation in a traditional Balinese style. Just off the road in Penestanan, but incredibly quiet. It’s family owned and serves traditional meals I’m the restaurant. The breakfast is good and I’d definitely stay here again.

Nothing major - just that the pool is quite small and there’s no TV in the room. Not big issues, but worthwhile knowing.

1. Booking & Check-in Experience: smooth and paid at premises. Kind and professional staff. 2. Location & Accessibility: a 15 minute walk away from the main road but nicely nestled between a quieter area with some natural attractions/walks. 3. Room Quality & Comfort: clean room, extremely large loft bed area, great design. Steep stairs to loft though, so consider accessibility wise. Comfortable bed and low noise levels (although walking on the top level does make a lot of noise for the people on the bottom level. Air conditioner upstairs could be stronger. Cute view of premises from upstairs. 4. Amenities & Facilities: slow and poor WiFi quality. Ample toiletries provided and sufficient water pressure. Small kitchenette, didn't have a kettle but we requested one and the host provided. Small, but clean pool with clean towels and lounging space around. 5. Food & Dining: small portion of breakfast (by Western standards), but filling enough with a humble number of options to choose from. There is also a restaurant in case you don't want to go out.

Cons to knock down one star: WiFi and Aircon. Minor things so if I could give a 4.5, I would.

Overall the property was absolutely gorgeous! The family run business is super kind, clean & welcoming. The Bungalow I had was the 2 bed, it was very spacious & pretty! The location was great! Easy to get to areas around Ubud with some great food spots ESPECIALLY CUPIT around the corner … fantastic hidden gem for food! The bungalow itself had delicious food at a great price, very authentic! One of the best yellow curries I’ve ever had & the breakfast was so yummy! They’re dog friendly too! A really special stay!

We loved Sari bamboo bungalows! We stayed with our adult children and we had two villas. They were really clean and comfortable and the pool was lovely. Sari bamboo is in a beautiful garden and close to some great restaurants like Tygr and Warung Mendez. It's an easy walk into the main street of Ubud and also easy to get to the big Bintang supermarket along the pretty back roads. The staff were great and super helpful. Breakfast was included and was good. We loved our stay and so did our kids. And it was lovely and quiet too.

We liked everything about Sari bamboo bungalows but the traffic in ubud is pretty bad these days. We walked and often got to places faster than those in cars - even faster sometimes than our kids who were on scooters!

We stayed in the Joglo / 2-bed bungalow with private pool. Best accommodation of our 8 stops. Beautiful pool (on the cooler side. Refreshing after the walk up the hill!). The included breakfast was fine - standard. Decent Balinese coffee. Lovely staff. I would stat again and really liked the area. 15-20 walk to the crazy hubbub of the centre, but near some really nice restaurants, coffee places, etc. Also super near the entrance to the Campuhan ridge walk which I 100% recommend.

All good. If I could move it 5 mins closer to town, I might do. Or reduce the hill to get to it, but it's not that bad. Just be aware the road it's in is one way 10am to 8pm but Google maps doesn't know that so our drop off driver has an annoying 20 minute extra long way round detour.
