This place is great. We booked for one night and were thoroughly pleased with our accommodation. Very clean, simple but comfortable facilities, plenty of tea, coffee, milk and a shared fridge on the landing, for guests to use. Great location, directly overlooking Ramsgate harbour, the icing on the cake would have been a harbour view, which we will ask for next time. We thought that this was very good value for money, breakfast is not included but there are plenty of local places to eat, we went to Wetherspoons for breakfast, close by and good value. There is a bar downstairs, open until early evening. the staff (especially Bailey), could not have been more helpful or informative. Parking in multi-storey literally just around the corner and several independent little cafes / bars at the bottom of the steps leading up to the terrace / bar area. Easy walking to either Pegwell Bay in one direction, or Broadstairs, in the other direction. The only (slight) negative, is that there is no lift and rooms are on the second and third floor, so be aware of that if you have issues with stairs (Bailey carried our bags up for us). A lovely historic building in the centre of Ramsgate.
Can't think of anything.

Lovely traditional old yacht club with great views over the harbour, but the best thing was the staff - shout out to Lisa who was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful! We had bikes in a posh old yacht club and Lisa was just so helpful in making it easy for us to stay and store the bikes in the old TV/meeting room! She even came in early on the morning to make sure we were able to get away on time.
The room was a little tired but its an old building and part of the character of the place. Still comfortable enough with a decent shower etc.

Brilliant location near the harbour but away from the noisy bit. Above some lovely restaurants and cafes. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy to come and go even though it’s not staffed at night. Bar would have been nice during afternoons when open though we didn’t use it. Interesting place to stay and comfy beds, view was great, shower decent. Fairly no frills but all good for what we wanted and clean and comfortable. We were able to leave our bags after checking out. We had a good recommendation of a cafe for breakfast just down below by the harbour.
Nothing really. Lots of stairs and reception hours could be a problem for some but staff were very accommodating and we would definitely stay there again.

I was a little worried that the reviews would not match the reality and that it would be old, tired and worst not clean?! The reviews were spot on so want to add mine. Even though Carnival day we got parked easily by the hotel (followed Sat Nav). Parking free between 6pm and 9am so that was fab! Staff gave lovely welcome and helped us upstairs with bags. No lift but me, my dodgy knee and 85 year old Mum were fine getting up two short flights of stairs. Twin room was big, just incredible views as shown in website picture but better. Room and bathroom spotless and very nicely decorated. Really comfy beds 💕. Can’t fault it, had lovely stay will be back Thank you 🙏🏻 Xx
A lift always nice but actually appreciated that it would not be a good fit in such a building.

The Hotel was lovely. really Great Building with a lot of History. staff were very friendly and helpful the room was very comfortable and clean had good sleep on our stay
My only two issues was that because the Building is very old it Didn't have a lift and the Stairs To the property was a little bit steep I wouldn't stay again as lovely Building to stay in and will be Better once they get a restaurant up and ready for meals and breakfast and they are going through New management

Clean. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. My room did not have a view, but if you did get one it would be fabulous as the club is situated right opposite the marina. No breakfast or kitchen facilities, but they have everything you need (including a fridge) if you want to bring food in. I had the small twin, en suite and it was perfect for one person with enough room. Coffee, tea and a biscuit, plus water.
The bed was a bit soft. I would have liked one more plump pillow and the shower was really loud- but I am nit picking.

Check in was easy. The staff were wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean. The bed was massive and extremely comfortable. The view over the marina and harbour was superb. The Yacht Club was centrally located for easy access to everything. There is a multi-story car park literally next door. Only £8.50 to leave your car there overnight. Ramsgate itself was a really nice town with many restaurants and pubs to visit. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed for one night but wished we had stayed for longer.

I booked this by accident. Broadstairs and Ramsgate have a few ‘Royal’ places to stay. I did not realise that I had booked a room with a shared bathroom - devastation. I tried to find somewhere else. Every room was over a mile away to where I wanted to be. Every where I would have stayed was booked. Any single travelling females, I have to say this is a very safe place to stay even when shower/toilet facilities are shared. These facilities were modern and spotlessly clean. The share is with 2 others. I did not see the other sharing guess’. When I thought about it I realised that we share toilets when we go to restaurants and we share shower facilities at a swimming pool. Sharing these facilities when travelling really isn’t so bad. This stay has changed my view. My room was a single room with a sink - the room was spotlessly clean. The usual tea/coffee/hot chocolate. There was still water and a couple of biscuits which I was not expecting when I initially saw my room. I had such a good sleep. Really comfy bed and really quiet. What really adds to staying at this place are the staff - just lovely and couldn’t do more for you. The ‘Yacht club’ is not just a fancy name. It is actually associated with a Yacht Club. There are some beautiful brass historical artefacts in this very small and welcoming hotel. The only reason I am not giving it a 10/10 is that there was scaffolding outside my bedroom window. To the best of my memory this was not explicitly stated before I paid for my room or in the booking.com description when I later viewed it, but my actual stay was 10/10. I will be back.
The scaffolding outside my window and not knowing what time the work people would turn up or whether they would turn up at all.

The room was cozy and warm with fabulous views of the harbour. The beds were comfy and the bathroom adequate. There was a shared fridge, cutlery and crockery for guests use. Easy check in as we had paid in advance and were sent codes by email. We met some of the very friendly staff and were treated to firework at midnight on New Year.
There were a lot of stairs but we were aware of this.

A room with a sea view is a must. Hotel is situated just outside the main town but a short distance to walk to most places. Plenty of bars and restaurants all around. There is a reasonably priced car park very near and park on level 2 for a short walk to the hotel entrance. There is also a guest fridge but you need to find it yourself as we weren't told about it at check in. The photos of the rooms do not do them justice and ours room 2 was perfect.
We felt a bit awkward in the downstairs bar as the atmosphere was not very welcoming. However both ladies behind the bar were very friendly.
