Cleanliness, grounds, colour scheme location very near sheringham beach too. Very clean decor good and comfy pillows medium firm beds not lost original charm but modern

initial welcome a bit stern rather than smiling but professional. Maps does not know how to get to puts you in a field far away avoid maps rather look for station road follow beach front towards Sheringhsm turn left on station road little bridge 20mph go up that and note the photo of building can see it opposite this bridge don’t go more than 100 yards from bridge otherwise your lost.

The pool was lovely and I found an hr in my dY to enjoy it. The room was clean with a welcome pack if I needed anything. The reception staff were lovely too esp the lady that checked me in. The bed was bigger than I expected and the bathroom was gorgeous. Even had a little sea view.

Not the fault of the hotel but someone snored all night and I could hear every single one. The TV wasn't very good either. BBC 1, the news or cbeebies, thankfully I have sky on my phone for when I got back to the room after a busy day. I was excited for a cocktail after my day out but the gentleman said there from a bottle, not freshly made and for £9.95 I decided against it. My archers and lemonade was lovely though.

Food was good, room spacious Staff were friendly although a but confused over whether we had breakfast included or not. It is a lovely old building (reminded me of the Faulty Towers building)

TV not large enough for a room of that size. It really needs modernizing a little. Some USB charging sockets would be a good addition, the biggest fault though is the lack of sound insulation between the floors. We were woken several times by heavy footsteps from the floor above us. Couldn't get the shower to run HOT. Clear glass in the bathroom window was a bit of a surprise too.

Bed very comfortable. Location excellent. Dog was acceptable and also well treated. Plenty of green walk areas for dog. Beautiful modern bathroom with shower. Great to have a swimming pool in hotel and gym. The staff very informative and friendly.

Finding dust in room. No proper chest of drawers in garden room for our clothes, only small drawers in desk and a bureau. Furniture and lamps very dated. No USB points and not many sockets.

Breakfast was superb. Room was very good with a very nice view. We had to downgrade to superior room as we specifically requested twin beds and a bath but the staff were very obliging and house keeping quickly changed the beds to twin. The beds and the pillows were superb. The evening meal was excellent and a daily changing excellent menu. The gym was very good.

For the price we paid I do think that breakfast should have been included in our room price.

Bed was very comfortable and room was nicely decorated. Hotel was well situated and parking was good. Staff were helpful.

WiFi was very poor even in the hotel reception area. Thought the towels were a bit worn and very small, only one set of shower gel/shampoo/body lotion - there were 2 of us staying for 2 days. Cold breakfast options could have been more extensive - fruit was a bit sparse and the yogurt I selected was mouldy :(

Super 5 star service staff were amazing felt very welcome like I was a family member I will be returning soon for a few days holiday in the summer best nights sleep after a stressful journey

The only bad thing was the food it was over priced & to be honest not that nice ( i had fish n chips )shame they had run out of crab & lobster but it was mid week & the latest time to eat so that's not really the kitchens fault the cooked breakfast was OK but loads of fruit /yogurts teas coffees ect

The staff were amazing. Jay the chef and Jake were so kind and helpful. Jay made us food and it was so well presented and tasty. He even came to see if we were enjoying. Just from start to finish on our visit, the staff could not do enough. It was spotlessly clean. Finally Melanie..What a lovely Lady, excellent management skills. The hotel made our pet dog Albert so welcome.. We will definitely be back.

Not long enough stay

Had a free complimentary room upgrade upon checking-in, which was a pleasant surprise. Room was a spacious double with a great walk-in shower in the bathroom. Had dinner in the restaurant which was also really good and seemed decent value for money.

Room was more or less directly over the main entrance and overlooking the car park, so there was a bit of noise in the early evening from the banging of doors at the entrance, plus the bin men turned up really early and made a bit of a racket around 6am, glad I was already awake for an early check-out!

Only spent one night there. It seemed very nice. I had dinner and breakfast and was very impressed with both the service and quality of the food.

I’m afraid the bed was very uncomfortable. I feel every hotel should make an effort to improve this. (Some have of course) Sleep is important to everyone. I just don’t think there’s an excuse to have poor mattresses in rooms anymore. A simple foam mattress topper can help. I’m glad I only stayed one night. I wouldn’t want to be there any longer. My back was very painful the next day.
