This is an absolute gem of a property, set in beautiful grounds. There is a good sized covered swimming pool, a large wildflower meadow and even it's own lake. The owner speaks good English as well as French and was incredibly welcoming and attentive to our needs. The room was beautifully clean and thoughtfully and tastefully designed. The bed was large and very comfortable. The walk-in shower was very modern and had great water pressure. There was a little table and some dining chairs in the bedroom. And in the corridor outside the guestrooms, there was a small kitchenette with coffee pod machine, kettle, single hob, microwave and fridge shared between the three guest rooms. In the gardens, there were lots of places to relax or to eat a meal. Breakfast was served in a pretty conservatory and included an enormous croissant, a plentiful supply of coffee, fresh bread and home-made honey, rhubarb and plum jams - even home-pressed apple juice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If we were to be really 'picky', the walls between the guest rooms seemed quite thin and there was a degree of noise transfer, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring earplugs to improve your sleep. And in the hot weather, a fan in the bedroom might be nice - although the roof windows did afford good ventilation.

The accommodation was super. The rooms were spacious enough with modern fittings. A very comfortable large bed with quality linen and towels. Bathroom was large with a great shower. The grounds of the accommodation were very large with a large lake which you can walk around and if you are lucky you will spot deer in the garden. The swimming pool is a great plus. The hosts David and his wife are brilliant, very helpful and available if needs be, super hosts. Breakfast was simple but great.

The calm and quiet of the location is a real tonic for travel worn people. The gardens and grounds are wonderful. David is a kind and friendly host. It’s great to have a little kitchen next to the room to use to make drinks and snacks.

The bedroom didn’t have a big window so I couldn’t see the lovely grounds. This didn’t matter this time as I was so tired. Next time I would choose the gite if it was free. Sleeps two and looks out onto lovely green space.

Very clean and comfortable rooms and the use of the pool was ideal after a long journey. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious with some homemade produce. David was welcoming and a perfect host.

The weather was very hot, which made the room also hot with no breeze. A small fan would have solved this.

The host, David and his Wife were very accommodating especially in our difficult circumstances of my Wife having an emergency hip replacement. They went over and above what one would expect. Even as a motorhome owner I would not hesitate in revisiting this property and can’t recommend them highly enough.

Lovely host very friendly and helpful, good recommendations for dinner in Sees. The bed was very comfortable. Handy little kitchen to make drinks. Lovely grounds to walk around. Great continental breakfast in nice conservatory.

I did not like the open plan bathroom much, I would have preferred a door. Need to take care on metal staircase outside the apartment especially after rain.

Tranquil location. Easy access and easy to find. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Small shares cooking area is a nice touch and would use if staying more than over night. Loads of places to relax in the beautiful grounds and around the pool.

No Air conditioning.

Very friendly welcome and comfortable room with access to a small well equipped kitchen. Unfortunately the weather was wet, so we didn't get the chance to explore the lovely countryside around the Domaine.

Quiet location in beautiful Normandy countryside. Friendly, welcoming owners. Comfortable rooms located in a separate area, accessed by external stairs. Well equipped bathroom with walk in shower. Good breakfast.

David & Sandrine were the perfect hosts in a perfect location....they went above and beyond what would normally be expected from hosts ...very highly recommend!!
