I never found a breakfast area so if they had breakfast it was hidden from view. The location was nice and close to the beach.

At first I noticed the musty smell in the room and walking on the room on the tile floor it felt slimy and slippery. Looking closer at the floor you could tell that it was dirty and hadn't been properly cleaned in who knows how long.. every pair of socks I worn in the room I had to throw away because just walking from the bed to the bathroom they would be black on the bottom. The hot water at times was non existent

Laid back staff. Chill vibe. Very clean. Beautiful beach area and a saltwaterpool both large and deep enough for many people to enjoy. Great location as a launch pad for experiencing the rest of the Keys. Will definitely be returning.

Wonderful location. Walk out of your room to the beach. Nice pool too for the kids. We had to find a place overnight because the place we went to in Key West was awful. The staff let us check in early so we could use the pool until our room was available. They also rushed and got our room available a couple hours before normal check in time. The room was very nice with a kitchen and sliding glass doors looking at the ocean. It has a Very good restaurant and bar attached to it and the drinks were good and the food was very good too. It was great because we didn't have to leave to go to the beach or to try to find a restaurant. My family will definitely be returning. It is truly a hidden gem.

Absolutely nothing could be better a wonderful stay with wonderful staff. Family I owned I think?

We stayed in the Havana suite. What we really liked about the room it had a kitchen area, so we were able to purchase breakfast and lunch food and beverages. The room has a sliding door out to the garden area with tables and chairs to sit outside and have our morning coffee and cocktails before we headed to the tiki bar. The pool was beautiful right by the ocean, the beach was small but very nice. The entertainment every night except on Tuesday the bar / restaurant is close, was nice. All the staff was very friendly.

We have no negativity about our stay.

The view was fantastic - great ocean and sky colours. Having the restaurant next door was so convenient - the food although limited in the number of selections was good. Pool is right at the shore line and decent size. Proximity to marine experiences at Dolphin research centre and the aquarium was great on a cloudy day. Also fairly close to the terrific beaches at Bahia Honda Park! The resort has a retro look and a family feel. It is laid back and relaxed in tone.

The noise from the band at night carried over to our room a little late. Beach is nicely sanded and lovely but slopes off sharply. into the water. Hot tub could use an upgrade and higher temp. Don't expect Marathon to have a downtown centre like Key West.

The views are as close to the ocean as you can get. It was really nice sitting out watching the sunrise enjoying our coffee. Facilities include use of kayaks and bikes which we did use.

The lobby seems a bit old fashioned but if they painted the wood and trim white it would make a huge difference. elevator a bit ho hum.

Upon arrival I was skeptical but the room was nice, the bed was comfy, and the view was great. The beach chairs and the pool are awesome. It’s nice not to have to walk too far to the beach or to dip in the pool when you get too hot and to be able to have a restaurant right next to the beach where you can get drinks or food. I appreciate that they combed the beach in the morning too, so I didn’t have to jump over seaweed like in most places. It’s tough to find a nice beach in the keys so the private beach was awesome! The staff was nice and helpful. We were only there for a weekend but I wish we could’ve stayed longer! Sunrises were beautiful too!

There weren’t any drinks, water, or snacks or sunscreen to buy at the front desk for your room. The lights outside the windows made my room too bright at night.

Great little beach, pool area, bikes are free to take out until sunset. Havana Jacks right next door is a wonderful spot for dinner. Overall fantastic experience for a few days in the Keys.

Would be great to have a continental breakfast in the lobby, since nothing is available on KCB and you need to drive to get something to eat first thing in the morning. Some late night food or drink options would be good too, maybe a vending machine with drinks or to stock the fridge in the room.

We had a suite that had a kitchenette, sofa and table/chairs. The beach was steps away. Cabana chairs were set up in the morning so we could watch the sunrise. Each chair on the beach and in pool area had a QR code to order drinks delivered. The bar/restaurant was excellent- fun live music. We had a party of 6 and were sat around a fire pit on comfy couches.

My only complaint would be the sofa's comfort.

The staff was amazing!! I wish I could remember her name.... she rocks she checked us in and helped us and answered all of our questions showed us the room parking just a great experience all the way around! we were in room 113 the room was great has a kitchenette safe etc. we have a slider that takes us to the beach pool bar restaurant even a outdoor Gas Grill!! Gym was also nice well kept even the guests were friendly kids were playing in the pool having fun me and my wife relaxed on there private beach and speaking of the beach it was nice private white sands water is also warm which I live in Florida and that was also nice since I live near Sanibel and Fort Myers beach and one of my greatest feelings by far was no red tide and no smell just clean Ocean which we are still healing from Ian. Dinner was great they have their own restaurant, private beach, pools, bar, live entertainment!! just a really good atmosphere good vibes we will be back in March!! Nothing at this point they should be the pinnacle for training other hotel/resorts. If there is any negatives I will revise in March.
