This apartment is located very near to the city center and also to the beach. The rooms are on the 1st and the 2nd floors. The reception is on the 2nd floor. The host had written the instructions days before the arrival: How we can come into the city by car for free (maximum 30 minutes). How we can find our key if we arrive after the opening hours. The parking garage is 10-15 minutes away from the apartment. It opens 9:00 AM. So if you choose the plastic parking card, which has a 10 € deposit, and you want to leave permanently the garage before 9:00 AM, you have to leave it with your bank informations at the host, and they refound the deposit. (I am still waiting for the refound, so I do not know if it is working, or not.) The shuttle bus stop is 1 minute away from the apartment. The room has enough equipment for a short stay. The beds are comfortable. The room looks like a new flat with new equipments and nice accessories. Opposite to the house there is a bar. One night there was live music. We liked it. And as we closed the windows, it was not too noisy, we could sleep. (There is an air conditioner in the room, but we did not have to use it.)

There is no lift in the building. But it was not problem for us.

Stayed at Vila Piranesi last year (2023). Same high standard of accommodation this year (2024). Spacious apartment with separate bedroom and functional dining area. Central location, a few metres from Tartini Square and restaurants and bars. It is well worth exploring the narrow cobbled alley ways off the main square, some nice bars and small restaurants. As with last year, there is no main bank in the town, just several ATM's which do run short of Euro's at times, in addition some restaurants only take cash payments. If you are taking advantages of free parking, consider leaving your car at the designated car park before booking in, retain your parking ticket, use the free shuttle bus into town, at ground floor sea level. Recommended: Before your departure date visit the car park kiosk, open 8-1, and obtain a exit ticket for your departure date, can save a lot of hassle.

Only one gripe is the villa has no lift service, which if you are on the top floor is good exercise on a daily basis.

Villa Piranesi's central location on the harbour and steps away from Tartini Square cannot be beaten. Get a room with a view on the cute harbour, it really is so worth it! The Comfort 1-bedroom apartment is super nice, very spacious and light with everything you might need in the kitchenette. It is spotlessly clean and smells so nice too. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the shower has a very good pressure and the heaters in the living room and the bedroom were turned on to ensure a lovely and cosy welcome - what a nice touch! What makes a stay at Piranesi even more enjoyable is dealing with Domen who is extremely helpful and will patiently answer all your questions with warmth and the biggest smile. His English is very good too. His responsiveness is beyond commendable. The process for the free parking might sound more daunting than it is as it's quite simple really. Rather than driving up to the Villa and scramble to check in with limited time before parking in Garage Fornace, just go there direct and keep the entry ticket safe. Then take the lift to the ground floor and catch the free shuttle in the open air car park to Tartini Square which is 2 mins walk from Piranesi. On exit, present the entry ticket at the office on the 7th floor by the barriers (open 9 am - 1 pm) with Villa Piranesi's receipt and the ticket will be validated for exit. For multiple entries/exits, a card can be issued for a deposit of €10, again on presentation of Piranesi's receipt. Finally don't be alarmed if your preferred check in time is automatically rejected. Call the number provided and self check-in will be arranged very efficiently by lovely Domen. Lastly, unlimited free coffee is available at the reception - another nice touch! I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely nothing!

Hotel is right in the town center, few meters away from the central square. Apartment was spacious, clean with all amentities included. Kitchen had a fridge, two hotplate stove and all the dishes and utensils. Both living room area and bedroom had separate airconditioners. Check in was easy and staff was super helpful.

Parking is actually in the garage outside of the city center, so not close to the property itself, but then that is the case with all the properties in the old town. Apartment was looking at a square where a cafe was having a party in the evening, with loud music. Luckily, it was during one night only.

The location was great for doing things in town. The space was clean and comfortable.

We were there on Friday and Saturday nights and the restaurant across a small plaza had live music outside in the plaza both nights until about midnight. Our room was on that side of the building. The windows even when closed did not dampen the noise at all. The parking, while great that it is free, was not convenient. It was about 1.5 km from the hotel through cro sea streets. The host recommended to drive into town, drop our luggage and then drive back out to the main town parking garage where we could park for free, which meant driving back through the busy crowded streets. We recommend parking first and taking the shuttle into town with your luggage. The shuttle drops you off about 50 m from the apartments. Don’t donate double drive into and out of town.

The apartment was big, clean and was well equipped. The location is perfect and the price-quality ratio was really good. It was the cheapest and biggest place from our trip in Slovenia in October. We saw some comment of people being charged for late check in, but in our case, we had instructions for self checkin and we didn't have to pay anything extra. Parking was really easy to find and we recommend to park first and then walk (15 minutes) or go by bus (1€ per person).

We could hear some noise at night, but in our case it wasn't a problem because it was low season, so probably in high season this could be an issue.

Absolutely hit the nail on the head! Wonderful place in the heart of Piran. Wonderful view from the window. Spacious and well-designed interior of the apartment, coffee machine available, so celebrating morning coffee is guaranteed. Breakfasts in a nearby bar, which is also worth visiting in the evening (with a view of the bay and great music). And super service! Greetings to the super positive and always smiling lady from the reception :) We will definitely come back.

The location was perfect, right at the centre of Piran old town. The views from the room are incredible! Worth paying for. Check in was smooth. The parking in the garage outside old town worked well, but we did have to go all the way down to the lower levels. Their recommendation was to drive into old town and drop off luggage and then go back to parking garage, but we skipped that, after reading a few reviews, as it sounded stressful due to very limited parking in old town. We just took the shuttle bus with our luggage. The apartment is very very cozy! Nice bed and lovely living room, nice bathroom and toiletries. Air conditioning worked really well! And have I mentioned that the views are stunning? :)

We felt quite constrainted by the very limited check-in times. It might be more flexible than it seems, but it should be clarified, as we took it very literally. The free shuttle bus that was promised is actually no longer free, but 1 euro per person. You can also walk the distance, as it is not more than 15 minutes and a nice walk. It is very close to a cafe that has loud music in the evening sometimes, but the hotel already apologized in advance for that :) It wasn't too bothersome. Keep in mind there is no elevator.

The location was absolutely central and close to the main square with restaurants and cafes. Parking was approx. 800m from the appartments but easily reachable with a shuttle bus and - included in the total price. This saved us quite some money and we had unlimited entry/exits to the Fornace garage. Great. The appartment was spacy, well equiped and in a very good shape. Breakfast (included in price) was great, served by a nice venue at the beach front - very nice. The host was always heplfull.

One double bed was a bit noisy during sleep, but it was still acceptable - no big deal. Concerts were held till midnight just below the appartment windows, so falling asleep was a bit harder - but i guess, that is the price for a central location and a great atmosphere just nearby.

Check in time for this hotel with reception is within a set time and we were a few minutes late so they were gone/not available. Fortunately they were able to message the alternate key pick up instructions and we got our keys and access no problem. The recommendation from them had been to drive in and drop off luggage and then go back to parking garage. This proved to be stressful as there is no where to park and drop off luggage by hotel. The provided instructions advised that we could find 30 minute drop off spots near hotel but our experience was that none of these were available. Our recommendation (and what we wished we had done) is park at the parking garage and take shuttle with our luggage into town.
