So easy. It was a last-minute booking and we arrived late. We really just needed a shower and comfy bed and we were very pleased when we arrived and saw what a nice place we'd found. (Two suggested improvements in the room: a lamp for the single bed, and removal of the two lounge chairs which take up too much space).In the morning, I had a brief stroll in the garden, which was beautiful. Really would like to spend more time there.

The road leading to the motel (a main local road) was full of nasty potholes, and it was a dark night. Not the motel's fault, and I hope the local authority takes note. Tourism. Another comment- the motel's sign is horrible and doesn't match the quality of the accommodation. It is memorable but not consistent with the brand. Maybe put it in a motel museum?

The property is immaculate from the common garden area to the rooms themselves. Recently updated, the bathroom was lovely with amazing water pressure and the hottest of hot water. Even my 6’5 hubby fit easily under the shower, which is always usually an issue. The fact that it is directly next door to Lemon Tree passage Bowling club, is an added bonus. A huge club which was ideal for a few beverages and had a fabulous meal in the bistro. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will recommend to all my family and friends!!!

The check-in and check-out processes were very smooth. Location was also perfect as it's near the pier and cafes. It's also a very clean motel with great amenities - WiFi connection was excellent. But what I loved most about our stay was their personalised greeting (even though we didn't meet them in-person!). My husband and I celebrated his birthday at the Lemon Tree Passage Motel. They were so kind to give us Ferrero Rocher chocolates and a birthday card. Thank you, Jason and Lilian for a wonderful experience at the motel. We'll definitely come back and stay here again!

The accommodation is very clean, spacious, and lovely, and there are no issues with check-in or check-out. Great location. It's conveniently located near everything we've visited. We really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely go back and bring our families and friends, as well as maybe bring out the boat next time. The host, Jason, always communicates with us, extends assistance when needed, and is always available to help.

Perhaps you can hear noise from other rooms, but it is beyond your control.

The Motel is an exceptional gem. Room was spacious, clean and well appointed. All the necessities from bathroom, kitchenette and iron and ironing board, hangers and so much more are provided and everything was thoughtfully planned. Loved the out door space behind the room where you can sit and relax too. Jason was friendly and very nice and made the check in so seamless that we just made the payment through phone and just walked into the rooms. Truly amazing place and I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a memorable experience.

As I had booked on line and could not arrive until later in the day/early evening, I was pleasantly greeted by a friendly text message to help with the details of room entry and Air-Con/heater usage. Upon arrival, I found a very pleasant, contemporarily decorated, Clean and spacious room, with a great bathroom and very comfortable lounge that almost made it hard to get up from to go to bed. Nice comfortable bed and overall a very nice, clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended.

Nothing really but as a shortish person, the bed was a bit tall, but comfortable, so Not really a bother, just an observation.

We didn't include breakfast in our booking. However, the tea/coffee/biscuit provisions were good. The location, next to the Lemon Tree Passage Bowling Club, our venue for the evening, was perfect! Everything in our room and the bathroom was neat, tidy and well presented and the overall living area was spacious. The prior arrangement for our key was easy to follow. We'll done to the proprietors.

It would have been a real bonus to have free access to Kayo.

Really nice modern motel room has a patio door out to the garden area which I liked. Motel has everything required for an enjoyable stay. Jason goes out of his way to accomodate check-in with clear instructions in a friendly manner. It's a quiet area, 30 min drive to Nelson Bay, there's a playground, coffee and friendly locals all nearby! The Poyer's restaurant nice location and great brekkie!

A fantastic motel in lemon tree passage with very comfy beds & very clean rooms. The motel manager is there to help you with anything you need. It's a classic motel, where you can park your car in front of your room & everything in town is easily accessible. You're just down the road from the water, where there are BBQs for use, power & undercover tables.I Highly recommend.

Looks renovated and clean. Very few other motels look as good inside. Mostly quiet and restful. Police station across the road. Manager on duty is very helpful & responsive via sms. Fairly close to Oakvale Wildlife Park & Fighter World museum. Solid 4.5/5 for a motel expectation.

A bit pricey though I booked for peak season, single night and late (2 weeks before stay) The club next door had music going well past 9pm. Location a bit out of the way if you want to get to Nelson bay itself.
