The hotel has a lovely pool and hot tub which are located in between the buildings making for a more enjoyable experience. Heated beautifully which made swimming even in January very pleasurable. The included breakfast was a great feature although it was rather limited due to the ongoing restaurant refurbishment. The room looked like it had been recently updated feeling quite light and bright. The bathroom facilities were very pleasant to use. For the price that I paid it was an excellent choice of hotel - I visit the area regularly and have stayed in many other properties in the vicinity and this offers the best value for money. It will be even better when the restaurant is finished as presently there are no bar or restaurant facilities on site. I was advised as soon as I booked that the restaurant was being refurbished so top marks for that.

The room I had did face towards the freeway and I found the noise from this a little irritating at times. I would recommend requesting a room facing into the gardens if you want it to be quieter. I would say though that many of the hotels in the area are in close proximity to the freeway.

The pool area was great. Felt very secluded, like a mini-oasis. Staff was friendly and helpful. Conveniently located near a Ralph's market.

They forgot to clean our room one day. We had left by 10 am and there was not a do not disturb sign on the door. When we came back at about 5 pm and complained, they said housekeeping had left for the day. They did provide us with new towels and dumped the trash. Still, the room and bathroom were not cleaned and the bed not made. Also, when we arrived on Sunday night, there was a big and loud engagement party at the hotel. The hotel staff said that they had events every weekend. The noise and loud music really disturbed the quiet and secluded atmosphere of the hotel grounds. It was also a "Palestinian" event which made me very uncomfortable and unsafe, as they were wearing keffiyas and speaking Arabic.

Breakfast spread was very minimum and same food everyday (we stayed 4 nights); it was served in a small function room so many of us had to sit outside in the open, while weathering the cold morning temperature On our very 1st day, we were woken up at 6.00 am, then 15 mins later for a few times by the loud fire alarm! No explanation was given to us but we later found out (through the grapevine) that it was due to some crazy guy activating it

Great hotel and value; seemed better than any other options nearby when booking and I would happily choose to stay here again based on our experience. The room (courtyard double queen) was lovely, clean, updated and spacious enough. It was also a comfortable temperature (cool but not cold). Seemed nicer and quieter than the standard rooms. Fridge in room was helpful. Staff all seemed enthusiastic and really cared about their job. Great service. Restaurant/cocktail bar attached to the hotel. Tips: I'd recommend a courtyard room (it's also a bit quieter I think) and a room on the first floor or not too far from the elevator to avoid a long walk or stairs with your bag.

Some rooms have barn doors for the bathroom and ours didn't close properly / needed fixing. The mattress could have been more supportive especially for two people, though we slept well enough.

The breakfast was ok. What would have put it higher is if you had a waffle iron! The potatoes were so tasty! I loved aitting outside to eat breakfast!We loved the pool, so spacious and there was always plenty of towels. Our smoke detector kept going off and maintenance took care of it very quickly. I do wish you would provide more coffee in the room, but it was no problem when I asked for more. What I REALLY LOVE, is the variety of plant/flowers you have. So beautiful! We really enjoyed our stay.

You know, there wasn't anything that I had a major complaint about. You did good?

This is a very nice hotel for a fair price. The rooms are large and clean. The windows and doors are thicker than average so they muffle sound well. I like that they have wood look laminate floors and shutters instead of carpet and drapery as I am sensitive to dust and pollen. Staff was friendy and competent. I like that you can walk over to the little shopping area next door for a choice of restaurants and anything you need at the grocery store. I had some tasty Hawaiian bbq for lunch with enough left over for dinner.

The furniture is a bit worn in some places such as table and desk legs. My air conditioner was a bit noisy at times. Breakfast ended at 9:30 am so all I got was some cheerios, toast and juice at 9:40 am. I should have checked earlier.

I have stayed here several times and it is always excellent. The rooms are well appointed, comfortable beds and pillows, always clean and housekeeping does a great job. I like the king rooms that have a sofa bed because it is more comfortable to watch TV. I had 3 trips back to back for a medical procedure and having the sofa made it much more comfortable. They do have a continental breakfast every morning and they are opening a restaurant on the property soon. I can hardly wait to try it. There are two restaurants and a Ralph's market in the next property as well as a gas station. There is a Walgreens drug store, Starbucks, restaurants and Walmart across the street. I love this hotel and I am never disappointed. I recommend this hotel.

There is nothing that I did not like. Everything was perfect for me needs. I hope to be able to stay there again. I have not complaints about anything. As far as I am concerned there is nothing negative that I can say.

Upgraded modern boutique hotel, very clean with great breakfast included: eggs, sausages, potatoes, etc. The room had beautiful white shutters, but a little light came in through these. It would probably be good to have room darkening shades as well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and upgraded. The toiletries were very small; so I would be sure to bring your own shampoo. The location was excellent, right off of the freeway and very close to the wedding venue at Shadowbrook Country Club. Since it is located right off of the freeway, it is a little noisy. Bring earplugs if needed. I would stay again!

Room darkening shades would help.

Breakfast was good but because of remodeling there wasn't enough room inside to eat. The covered patio was nice for visiting in the evening. The banquet facilities were good with a helpful staff. Overall the staff was friendly and made up for any shortcomings.

Since our last stay ten years ago, we found many improvements especially to the rooms. Try as places might, they never seem to get bathrooms right. They look good but just don't function well, from the sliding door between the room and bath, to showers doors that don't close properly and lighting that just is not as good as it should be.

We and the kids loved the pool area. Since we were on the road trip, we saw many hotels in comparable price ranges where the pools were either not appealing oder next to a freeway. Here there pool area is in the center of the hotel and has a real holiday feel to it. Also, it was definitely the best breakfast we had on our trip. It was very nice to be able to sit outside in the patio area for breakfast. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious and the beds comfortable. The hotel was one of our hightlights during our 20-day-trip.
