Clean and comfy and location

It was advertised as sound proof and it was not. No hot tub. Breakfast wasn’t convenient at all

room was spacious, breakfast was great. Staff was friendly

workout equipment was older. Elliptical had a broken foot stand

The room size was large and clean. The hotel was updated and overall wasn’t bad.

The indoor pool was freezing. We went for an extra day so that my son could spend time in the pool but it was like taking an ice bath. It was so disappointing how cold it was that out of a 2 night stay, we ended up swimming about 1/2 hour and had to get out as it was just too cold. I read other reviews that said the water was warm. Honestly, had I know it was that cold, we would have stayed somewhere else. If you are looking for a nice getaway with a pool? This is not the place. But just for a quick stay for business? Then this would be a great place.

The breakfast offered a vast selection, including scrambled eggs with toppings, sausage links and a waffle station, in addition to room temp or cold items. The Lobby and breakfast room were gorgeous and recently updated. It was nice to have an elevator for those who couldn't climb the stairs. I loved the option of the two-room suite that was very spacious. Loved the mini fridge/microwave/sink area between the bedrooms and the large bathroom, plus oversized desk.

I felt like the carpet and walls in the hallways by the rooms were dated, but the rest of the facility and rooms was nice. The sofa bed mattress was as horrible as most of those are. The sofa bed is near the door so noise from the hallway can keep the person sleeping there up at night.

Nice two room suite at good price

Location just ok

The Northfield Suites were nicely designed for comfort, convenience, and were esthetically appealing. The entire facility was kept very clean. Loved that the room was good-sized and that it had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and extra sink. Breakfast was delicious!

The person working at the front desk at check in (later in the evening) was not very personable and seemed to be more interested in watching television and talking on her phone. Also, it would be nice to have breakfast time extended another hour or so as, not everyone is visiting on business.

It was a great value. The room was very nice and the staff was professional and helpful. It was comparable to a more expensive hotel. The lobby was attractive and inviting. The breakfast was ample and on par with what you would get at Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express.

There was only one treadmill in the workout room and it was occupied when I arrived. I think more people prefer to use treadmills to elliptical machines. Free weights would have been nice as well.

The room was spacious and clean & the bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean and inviting. The breakfast was good, but the person taking care of that area didn't keep up with replenishing items as they were consumed.

The mini fridge was frosted over & not cold. Also, the mini coffee maker didn't work. There wasn't any conditioner in the shower. The breakfast food items weren't replenished as they were consumed.

We especially appreciated the two reading chairs so both of us could relax, apart from the desk and its chair. Both easy chairs had a lamp nearby for good lighting. One of the chairs was even a lounger that reclined. The location is good in that it's off the expressway by several blocks, so our room was quiet and faced away from traffic and looked out onto trees.

Everything as well appointed and what we expected, having stayed there twice before over several past years. It's not a fancy place, but it is a conference center with extensive facilities.

The property was easily located. It was an attractive building inside and out. The cleanliness was a ten+ which was wonderful. The room we had was spacious, updated, and very clean. The bed and chairs were very comfortable. The temperature was easily controllable and didn’t overheat or over cool. The breakfast was good with hot and cold choices and fruit in a clean and sizable room. All of the employees we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. I can’t remember when I’ve stayed in such a nice place for the value. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and wish I could have stayed longer to utilize the amenities I couldn’t with this stay.

My only dislike, and this really isn’t a complaint just a preference, was the elevator was small. Obviously this is not something that could be corrected and again was just my particular preference so should not be considered as a negative.
