Conveniently located a few minutes' walk from the train station and on a main street with shops and restaurants. Despite the location, there wasn't much noise inside the rooms. For hotels of this type, the rooms were a good size (enough room for 2 people to move around and have places to open small luggage) and included the basics like desk, chair, luggage stand. Hotel lobby and rooms looked new and were very clean. For the price, an excellent value.

Laundry facilities were in high demand at night and there are only 3 washer/dryer units for the whole hotel. There is a helpful display on the TV that shows which ones are in use, but it still would have been nice to have more machines since each wash/dry cycle takes about 2 hours.

The location was great, in the middle of everything and no problems to walk from the railway station. Modern and clean hotel.

Most of the staff was very friendly, except the one who took care of our check-in, she was a bit arrogant and I have never heard that ”wait, until I have finished”, when I was going to pay the room. There was a self service machine to pay with your credit card. It didn’t work or I did something wrong and it took many times more to get it done. Very irritating, why the staff couldn’t take care of it. No view from the room, just the wall of next building.

I really like this hotel! The location is excellent. Another thing I would like to mention, as a person who had back surgery before, it is very important to have a bed that is supportive, somewhat firm yet soft and comfy on its cover. The bed in this hotel really meets my expectation even beyond wat I have in mind. It's just an extra information to whoever seeking the right bed for their trip in Nara!

I booked two rooms - one for myself and partner and one for my brother's family including his baby. My room was smaller (as we expected), but overall felt spacious compared to other hotel rooms we stayed at in Japan. The room for my brother was larger and the hotel provided a crib, which worked out really well for them. We were overall very satisfied with our stay, it's a short walk to Nara Park and is in the middle of a cute walkable area with shops and restaurants. The hotel also had a nice amenities bar with bath/spa stuff to try which we enjoyed.

The restaurant wasn't serving breakfast as we had expected, so we had a bit of a scramble to figure out what to eat. Otherwise, it was a nice stay and I would recommend this place.

The location of the hotel is great, a lot of restaurants nearby and a walking distance from lots of places of interest. The staff was helpful and nice, there were amenities available at the ground floor in front of the elevators, and a laundry room for the guests of the hotel. The room was small but comfortable, the small hall in the corner of the entrance was very practical. The bathroom was also small but had everything we could need. We had a "do not disturb" sign on the door and the staff left a bag with clean towels, clean pajamas and additional amenities and two water bottles, it was truly appreciated!

It was great that there was a laundry room but there were only 3 machines for all the guests, making it a long wait to be able to do one's laundry.

Spotlessly clean and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. 10 minute walk to the deer park which was one of the highlights on our Japan trip!

Breakfast was advertised in the rooms and on the reception desk (for an extra charge) but when we came downstairs at about 0830 we were told there was no breakfast today. Not sure why due to language barrier. It was ok as there are coffee shops nearby but was a little disappointed that this was not offered when advertised

Newish hotel. The location is spot on central for shops and restaurants, with the main tourist sights only a short walk away. Staff at reception were very helpful. The coin laundry in the hotel was very handy. Room reasonably comfortable and very clean.

Our room looked straight onto a side wall of an immediately adjacent building, so there was no view at all. Disappointing in such a nice small city. Also, our room was quite small so not much room to unpack. The area the hotel needs to seriously address is breakfast. There seem to very few staff in attendance and there wasn't much choice. The food there was (Japanese) was good quality, but not a huge choice. However, one morning there was a huge tour group all in for breakfast at the same time, which was so chaotic (long queues, food running out etc);we gave up and had breakfast elsewhere in town. The hotel needs to manage this better by having booked slots like other hotels have, so as to avoid this type of thing.

This hotel is amazing, the location is in the heart of Nara close to amenities, the station and the park. The rooms are spacious and excellent value for money. There are laundry facilities to do your washing as well as a room with a microwave and ice machine.

Nothing about the property but if you don’t want to wake up to ‘a whole new world’ every morning try to stay away from room 220 😂

This was our second time staying in this hotel. The value that you get for the price is amazing! Kyoto is 40min away by Kintetsu Railway, so there's no issue with being out of reach of the tourist hotspots.

The washing machines didn't do a good job.. washing. Tried on 2 / 3 machines, with the same result.

Wow! This hotel is located walking distance to most of Nara's "must see" attractions. It is on a quiet car-free shopping street with nearby eateries. The room and hotel were high-end. Beautifully designed and VERY comfortable.The room featured air conditioning, humidifying controls, perfect toilet & shower, and comfortable set up for work or relaxing. A bonus was the included real Japanese breakfasts! The price was VERY reasonable. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

I can't think of anything that could have been better.
