It's a bit old hotel near the wonderful beach. But it has everything you need including a nice onsen though it was a bit stuffy there. We had wonderful ocean view room. And it took about 10 min to get there from the train station. We rode to Nati temple and the part of Kumano kodo by a local bus that depatures from the station. There is a splendid fish market where we tasted tuna. And soaked our foot in the foot bathes. The hotel give 2 bicycles for free for 30 min. It was enough to ride along the beach. We like this town Kii-Katsuura very much!

It was cold to sleep near the window but there were warm blankets,

spacious comfortable accommodation , nice, clean communal bath. ocean front rooms has a lovely seating area on a veranda overlooking the ocean. good location. sleeping with the windows open and the sound of the sea was heavenly.

A bit dated and a little bit tired. We were disappointed that we were told we couldn’t have breakfast at the hotel.

Room was a generous size with views over the ocean, hotel was very quiet, beds were super comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly. We ate at a local restaurant which was within walking distance.

Upgraded room with a fabulous view, full course meal for both dinner and breakfast, open air hot springs. Sunrise Katsuura Hotel exceeded my expectations in more ways than one. It even felt like I had the restaurant and public bath to myself. The price I paid could probably get me a much smaller hotel room in Tokyo, without the meals.

The public baths don’t change so if you stay more than 1 night, the bath room will not change between man and woman

Waking up to a view of sunrise & ocean waves was the best.The staff was great with breakfast,Room cleaning & providing me a taxi.Theres also a cool bar just up the street with great food.Thankyou "SRK"Hotel.
