The location was great for the things that we were wanting to see and experience, all within walking distance. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. And the room itself was spacious enough for us with a nice, comfy bed. They offered luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, if we should still have some exploring to do. We also enjoyed the restaurant that is connected to the hotel.
We didn't like that it took the shower quite a bit of time to get hot water. Also, we were not big fans of the partial shower door style as we always had a water mess on the floor to clean up after showering.

Stylish hotel in a great location - close to the French Quarter but still an escape from it, close to where my convention was held as well as transport links and a walkable distance to cool restaurants and bars in the Central Business District and Art Warehouse District. I had no idea the hotel was in such a great location when I booked it, so this was a nice surprise and a perfect place from which to explore. I also chose it for the large room size and because it has a fridge in the rooms, which meant I didn't have to fork out for breakfast every day. The reception staff were all friendly and helpful when I needed suggestions or advice, especially Lloyd. I also liked that I had full control over the AC in my room, without hotel restrictions on the settings. The hotel felt safe and secure with key entry to the lobby.
The bed was a bit too soft for me, but this is obviously a personal thing. Having said that, I really liked the pillows.

Brilliant location (just behind Canal Street, easy walk to Bourbon Street, the French Quarter and the attractions by the riverfront) whilst also being quiet in the rooms at night and feeling very safe. Room had nice decor as did the lobby. Overall a fancy, arty kind of feel. Radio was on when we arrived playing New Orleans jazz. Decent Keurig coffee pod machine in rooms. Aircon was very effective and really useful given the heat outside! We saw some comments about the shower before arriving but this wasn't an issue. The shower took a long time to heat up but the pressure was fine and it got very hot eventually, just have to let it run for 5 or so minutes while getting ready. Ended up not going to the restaurant next door where they serve breakfast but went to another restaurant that's part of that same chain and had great sized portions of pancakes. Generally there are just so many good places to eat just a short walk away.
We were initially a little confused by fees. Booking.com seemed to show some sort of deposit when we paid online and we weren't sure if it was part of the initial price or not. When we arrived we realised it wasn't and had to pay a $200 deposit. We also then had to sign something that mentioned a nightly Amenity Fee of around $14 plus tax which we didn't expect. However, upon check out the deposit was refunded swiftly and the nightly fee was not charged after all as it had been part of the initial payment anyway, so actually it all worked out completely fine, just might be a little confusing to European travellers who are used to all fees being part of room prices as standard.

Staff was awesome. It is close enough to everything that we could walk wherever we wanted to go, the audubon aquarium, ferry ride, french district, cesears casino. Bed comfortable. Fridge in room. No phone, but you can text staff with cell and they are very responsive quickly. Really enjoyed ourselves.
Rooms were pretty small, but enough for us. Highly recommend checking into the water tank. Water was at the warmest luke warm, never hot. And the toilet was very low, felt like it should be for 5 year olds. I would also recommend investing in microwaves at least on the floors, preferably in rooms. Would also recommend ice machines on floors. It was nice that they had small bags of ice at front desk, but better to be on floor. Now again, we had a great time, but just recommend some improvements.

This must be the 4th time staying at the Pelham. The location is great and now they offer reservation between 7am-8am. At the Ruby Slipper next door, it's a lovely cafe for breakfast and always booked up, so have waited for a table in the past as know its worth it. So this was a great extra.
The staff this time round, some came across as though they didn't want to be there. Always made the point of saying hello when walking through reception, was ignored several times as having a conversion with another staff member. Valet parking you leave the car on the street, it's always filthy next to the bins, flies all over which isn't appealing when you want to park up and take luggage out.

The Pelhem Hotel- great location, nice, safe local hotel (65 rooms). They are located very close to Canal Street and 5 minutes, walking from Caesars New Orleans Casino. 0.4 mi to Bourbon Street and approx 0.6 mi to Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Walking distance to the Saints Superdome too! About 10am on the day you arrive, you’ll receive a text to sign a release, it will tell you your room #. That is just having you sign a release, not checking you in & not advising your room is ready. Still check in & they’ll hold your bags. The rooms have AC, extra blankets, refrigerators and flat-screen televisions with cable. By the beds they have USB plug ins, for your devices. A large bathroom with hair dryer. Next-door you have the amazing restaurant, The Ruby Slipper! They’re open for breakfast, brunch. You can request a Priority Seating Time between 7 - 830am, at the desk and they can get you in quickly…. otherwise be ready to wait in line, they are busy!!!! It was a great place to stay, floor 1 is loud, because you hear all of the outside street noise- however, they have a sound machine to help that. I really enjoyed my stay here. I will do it again for our future stays!

The hotel is truly flawless in every aspect. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, from the stunning decor to the exceptional service. I had a great experience with hotel greeters during my recent stay. They were correct and professional in their demeanor, making me feel welcomed and valued as a guest. The room was perfectly set up to welcome us, and they let us go through it without problems before check-in time. The lights were perfectly set up, and even an old radio played wonderful jazz music from the best radio station in New Orleans. Thanks Francis !!! The mattresses are very comfortable [a little fluffy for me], and the pillows and the a/c thermostat and equipment work efficiently. You might park across the street in an open parking lot, or you might walk one block to the Sheraton out parking garage to get a covered parking for almost the same price. The room has a coffee maker, coffee pods, and a small refrigerator. Cosmetics products are high class, and you might buy one at the hotel shop, as well as bathroom paper, towels, and the pressure of the shower water. The hotel does not include breakfast, but you can pick to walk wherever you want. I strongly suggest trying Cafe Fleur de Lis one block away or Mother's Restaurant four blocks away to get real NOLA food.

Location was just far enough from Bourbon St to keep you away from the drunken madness, but close enough to walk there. It was very convenient to everything the French Quarters has to offer. Casino was a block away, The Ruby Slipper is an awesome breakfast spot, and you could do a short walk to just about everything. The hotel was very nice for the price, and the value was exceptional. Room was very spacious, bed was comfortable, hotel and room was clean, staff was awesome, free WIFI, and coffee in the morning. The room was able to keep us cold and comfortable, water pressure was great, water was hot if you wanted it, and TV was good too. Would Highly Recommend!
There was nothing we didnt like. The hotel was exactly what we expected. The price and Value was great.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. The location was perfect! We were in walking distance of great food, Bourbon Street, French Quarters, and other amazing adventures. Not to mention the décor and feel of the place are super chic!
There was a stale odor in our hotel room which may have been cleaning products that were still lingering. I did see a small cockroach that came out of the drain in the tub but we proceeded with caution to check our clothing items and to dispose of all food items right away. We also would have loved to have a window view in our room but it was totally fine, we will try to request one the next time we go.
