The room was beautifully decorated, and housekeeping came in every day to replenish towels and tea/coffee. The property is right by the seafront so was a perfect location. One of the staff remembered us and our coffee orders when we came down for breakfast which was lovely.

The pub itself isn’t very clean - the tables are sticky and the outside benches are very dirty. The hot water stopped working one day which required fixing. Breakfast options were somewhat limited for a vegetarian. The staff also often forgot items we ordered at breakfast.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Waterfront Inn. The location is unbeatable—right by the beach with sea views from our room that made it feel truly special. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and spotlessly clean, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was fantastic, featuring a powerful shower, a deep bath, a stylish light-up mirror, and the complimentary toiletries added a luxurious touch. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring a restful sleep. The staff were attentive and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, and the free parking was a much-appreciated convenience. If you're looking for a seaside escape, it is perfect.

Room was spotless as usual. Good size bed and room facilities. Plenty of towels shower stuff toilet rolls. Breakfast was good quality both the full English and the fruit and cereals.

We never had a room fan which other rooms did have as I saw one in the opposite room whilst the cleaner had the door ajar. It wasn't a major problem but if it had been hotter we would have needed one. I was a little disappointed with the bands this year as in previous years the quality had been better but I guess that is not always easy to get right.

I loved my room - large, modern, beautifully decorated, comfortable, with side sea view. It exceeded expectations. The hotel location is also great - near shops, restaurant, beach, and coastal path.

Breakfast didn't meet expectations. It is served in a depressing room with sticky tables. The tables are bare so you sit at one and wait for someone to appear. There is no juice, cereal, fruit etc. When the waitress brings the plate of food, she brings the cutlery in a little rusted bucket - and that is it I really missed having marmalade.

The room was one of 4 rooms in an annex next to the main building. Looks recently refurbished. Beautifully decorated, clean and secure. Breakfast was of a high quality. Staff very friendly and professional.

Nothing. One tiny issue in our room - we think it was an emergency light by the door that was on so the room was a bit lit up during the night. But in fairness we did not report it until we left so didn’t give the hotel chance to resolve the issue. And we still managed a good nights sleep.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Shower had good pressure and had plenty of space to move. The breakfast was delicious and they were great at accommodating our dietary needs. Didn’t see much of the staff except at check in/ check out but they were consistently friendly and helpful.

My husband did feel the toilet was a little too close to the wall and did bump his head a couple of times getting off the toilet, mostly at night (he’s 6’ so tall but not very tall). The room was a little too warm for our preference but that’s probably on us as we didn’t ask anyone about how to adjust the temperature.

A good welcome and shown to our room. The room was in their newer extension above the games room. It's location was a concern at first put didn't prove to be a problem. Room spacious, clean, comfortable and recently decorated. Good bathroom and super shower. Great range of choice for breakfast. Pub menu a reasonable choice. Eat in there twice and always large servings. All staff friendly and helpful. Close to the beach and the town's facilities. An enjoyable 3 nights stay.

Hotel rooms all good quality but the pub and garden felt more like 'Butlins' which was a bit of a contradiction. The name of the establishment is 'THE WATERFRONT INN' but it isn't actually on the waterfront, so a bit misleading! Apparently some rooms have a partial sea view. All sounds a bit Fawlty Towers, but actually not really problem!

The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, nice big television, the bathroom was clean and modern, a really nice shower. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu, we had the full English, pancakes, bacon & egg sandwich, and fruit cocktail during our stay, and all were really good. The best thing for us was the central location of the accommodation, right over the road from the beach.

The room was really hot as the window faced the afternoon sun (admittedly not a lot they could do about that). They had provided a fan which worked fine, but was quite noisy. The car park is not very big and is first come first served. Although we were always lucky and found a space, there didn't seem to be anything in place to ensure that only residents were able to park there.

The room was really clean, lovely and modern. Perfect room for a family, which is a rare find. Bar area and outdoor area were great. Breakfast was delicious and served in a private area for guests. All the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Communication before arrival was also fantastic as there was a band on the night we stayed and they ensured we knew about it before arrival.

Communication stated the bands would be finished by 10pm but was nearer 10.30pm. When the bands did finish then the bar started to close and it was very noisy for clearing up with bottles etc. which meant it was still a struggle for our boys to go sleep and even later late than we had planned. However sleeping above a bar we appreciate that you will hear the noise from below at times. Throughout the day we couldn’t hear anything it was just an exceptionally busy night with the bands playing. However the bands were very good and the noise that night definitely wouldn’t put us off returning!

Needed accommodation while playing in a local golf comp. Thought it looked ok but not really my kind of place...pub with family stuff etc but very local. Room was very good and the breakfast also very good. I often travel on similar during summer months and this was certainly one of the better places. I would happily return and very happy to recommend. Very clean, great room, helpful staff and good breakfast. Frankly all the things that are seem so hard to get right!

My only criticism was that I had to drive to another town to find a decent restaurant. But that's a matter of personal taste.
