Location was awesome. Few minutes walk to the supermarket, cafes, shops. We were on bikes doing the twin coast ride, a couple of bikes needed repairs so that was done on site while stayed. Bike repair guy was quick, reasonably priced & great at his job. Great big secure shed to store our bikes overnight. Rooms were modern & comfortable.

The back of the door when you sit on the toilet was dirty. Had not been cleaned in a while. The volunteer firefighters got a siren call at 3am which of course was annoying. It is heard by everyone in town, for obvious reasons, but I am letting fellow travellers know that it is a possibility. Gravel driveway can be noisy, this is outside all of the units.

Location to the shops, ground floor unit. TV in each room. Comfy Bambilo matresses. Option to go for a bike ride is there. Plenty of seating for lots of visitors. Access to the gate after hours. Lots of windows for air and sunlight. Ladies made the beds beautifully. What skill.

The tiles in the bathroom are terrible. Is that the trend now? Even when with the window open its terribly wet after a shower. We had that problem in North cote motel. Used all the towels to mop up the water. May be put an extractor fan in there.

I arrived from Whangarei to attend a tangi which was held at seventh day Adventist church Mangakahia road the weather was cold wet and windy when I got there then after the service Iwe drove to the urupa church Ngawha on a hill the weather was worse after the burial we all came back to the church and had lunch I couldn't wait to get back to the .motel to have a nice hot shower and put my warm PJ "S on and and the heater thank goodness the motel was close by I was so warm and relaxed I slept 😴 like a 👶 THANKYOU

I booked this for family who came home to attend a funeral. They were happy with the convenience of the location (10 minutes away). It was clean, there was ample parking space and everyone liked having a quiet place to go and chill.

The only feedback I got was that there wasnt any heating, however, it was explained that part of the motel is undergoing renovations which affected the heating. My family were fine with this but perhaps make mention of this ahead of time so people can bring a small heater with them. Otherwise it was fine.

Was so appreciative that we were able to check in early as I had my dad who was 82 that needed abit of a rest before going to a family wedding.

There were some cups that I used that seemed to be not clean. I understood this to some extent as we asked to check in early and that may have put pressure on the cleaning staff. Beautiful otherwise

It is a family run business and they are great to deal with, very friendly and helpful. Newly renovated rooms are clean and comfortable. Very safe and secure with gate locked at night, parking onsite. Bike hire and shuttle service on site makes it super easy for riding the twin coast trail in either direction, which is about 1 km away down the road from the hotel.

Location excellent as we hired bikes from this company to cycle the twin coast route. Bike fitting was the best we experienced in NEw Zealand and the post cycle transfer very good on both days Facilities in the unit were good and bed comfortable

Facilities in the town are limited especially places to eat in the evening We resorted to a ready meal from the supermarket on the second evening

Comfortable stay & we were able to have a early check-in as we were there for a wedding & wanted to unload our gears before heading off to the wedding. Our room was like a 2bdrm apartment - each also room had a tv & heat pump. Plenty of power points. Kitchen appliances, stove/oven, microwave everything you need.

There was nothing to not like about this place.

Very comfy bed and bedding. Nice and clean, good size fridge. It was in a great location for what I was in town for. Check-in and out time is reasonable. Staff were nice and polite

There was only one towel when I registered for 2 people. A water bottle in the fridge could be a nice addition and there was no cutlery to use with the pottery.

Host are always lovely, friendly and accomodating. Nothing seems a problem. The place is alway lovely and clean. The bathrooms are nice and a large sizes so I can still fit a chair for me to sit on the odd times I need to sit after having a shower. As I can’t stay on a marae the place is ideal, handy and close so I don’t need to travel far.
