The room was very clean and nice. Well equipped(water, every day,coffee, shower gel, hair dryer,mini fridge,clean 2 sized towels) and very comfortable bed. The personal was extraordinary and also the cleaning ladies. Elevator and pleasant building.The best breakfast view( on the 3rd floor).

We were told that they will try to give us a 1st floor room, what did not happened, so we had received the room 14 on the ground floor. It was very noisy in the nights ( because of neighbors from the 1st floor ),we woke up around 2-3 in the morning in the first two nights. We could hear the airplanes clearly inside the room, but it is normal in the neighborhood of the airport and due to heavy air traffic. Breakfast was simple and the same every day, but fresh products.

Great value for money, we had a two floor apartment just for the two of us which was great! 30 minute walk to Heraklion town and a quick taxi to the port that we needed. Staff were really helpful with sorting taxis.

Can't really fault the hotel, especially for the price. Only thing to be aware of is the noise from airplanes, but that is of course to be expected when you're that close to the airport! Much less air traffic in the night though, so not really a major issue.

Very close to the airport by bus, bus stop 5 min away, there are restaurants, cafes, bakeries, big supermarket around, bus lines going to city center in just 10' and to other parts of Iraklion as well. The rooms are super clean, very comfy, staff always very kind and helpful. There is also a great roof terrace to have breakfast

There is nothing that i don't like, that's why i always return. There is noise from planes taking off but i know that beforehand having been there before and i don't mind

Very clean and comfortable room with an excellent walk in shower. It was booked for an overnight stop after arriving at the airport prior to boarding a cruise. Ideal location between the airport and cruise terminal - we walked with our luggage to the dock with no major effort.

You are very close to the flight path for aircraft using the airport so may be disturbed if you are a light sleeper - but that is an obvious drawback for such a convenient location.

We only stayed for 1 night. We choose this accommodation because of the proximity to the port. It is also very close to the airport, so it is ideal for staying before the flight. The room was clean and modern.

Breakfast was not very diverse, but you can choose. Planes can be heard a lot even at night, so I recommend using earplugs.

Great sized rooms abs the staff were fantastic - some of the best customer service I have experienced. We arrived very late, but had starving teenagers. The receptionist was super helpful - he rang a local takeaway for us and helped us to order. Definitely above and beyond. Breakfast was €6 euros, which was good value.

We knew we’d hear the planes and we did - but it didn’t really bother us. If you stay close to an airport, you always will hear them.

Had a wonderful stay at Marvel rooms. The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and there was plenty of free parking around the hotel. It was rather refreshing to stay in the suburbs of Heraklion as we got a taste of the local lifestyle, and walking/ driving into town at night was also very nice and romantic - the hotel is around 25 minutes walk from central Heraklion. Would highly recommend this place, would definitely return! and thank you to all the lovely staff :)

I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in July 2022. It was a small hotel at the end of a road in Heraklion, but was very surprisingly beautiful and clean inside. They didn’t have a twin room for us when we arrived, so they upgraded us to a room with 2 floors/beds in it. I was very happy with the room that has all the amenities needed including morning coffee. Continental breakfast was served in a rooftop restaurant with absolutely beautiful views of the marina and sunrise. Reception personnel were incredibly helpful and cordial. They even packed a breakfast bag for us to take to the airport with us because we were missing breakfast. All COVID protocols were adhered to and place was immaculate. I would most definitely stay here again…5 stars…great job Marvel!

Hotel was directly in the flight path from the Heraklion airport, so it was a little loud.

Our room was situated on the ground floor and as we were told it was one of the renovated ones. It was spacious, clean, equipped with a modern furniture. The bed was comfortable. Both the air-conditioning and wifi were working fine. There is a rooftop terrace on the 3rd floor where you can have a breakfast or relax in the evening. Parking is possible in front of the building. It's a good choice if you need to spend one night close to the port or to the airport.

Rooms in the ground floors have a common outdoor sitting possibility together with other rooms which might be disturbing for some guests. You feel a little bit like in a cellar as there is no view from a "terrace" and you are surrounded by other rooms and walls. Planes departing from the airport are very noisy even if you close the window. The neighborhood of the property is a bit scary, especially in the evening. Breakfast is very simple (packed toasts, a piece of cake, butter, jam and boiled egg). Property is a bit far from the city center (20-30 mins of walking).

Noise from aircraft overhead till after 11pm and start again 6am otherwise a quiet area. Didn't really bother us as early risers anyway
