An amazing hotel with breathtaking views of the Amalfi coastline. Located overlooking the beaches and a short walk into the centre of Amalfi - very convenient. The breakfast buffet was amazing and an excellent mix of options. The hotel also has a restaurant with fine dining options that made for romantic dinners at sunset. The room was very clean, had turn down service and I don’t think we ever used the same bathroom towel twice. The staff were all lovely and very helpful.

The mattress and pillows were a little stiff/flat for our personal preference. The shower was a bit tight due to its awkward shape, however operational and perfectly hot water.

Incredible views! Staff was mostly great. There was one particular waitress that blew us off at dinner and at breakfast every day. No idea what her problem was but she basically made us beg for more coffee- I had to get up from the breakfast table and find someone every day for refills. At dinner, as soon as she took our order, that was it- food got delivered and then she disappeared.

There were two dogs across the hall from us that was barking incessantly and I had to go downstairs to the front desk around midnight and only security was on duty. So they called someone who called the guests and the guests came back to their room. Minor hiccup but it definitely wasn’t pleasant being woken up by dogs barking.

The Location of this Hotel is excellent! A View of the beautiful Amalfi town and easy to reach by Walking. The Breakfast is very good and tasty - a very good Buffet selection and a menu to order warm dishes. The well cared for flowers on the stairs and entrance hall makes a lovely impression. A Wonderful stay in Amalfi!

The food at lunchtime was not that good and best to rather avoid.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, because I love the location and I love the views. It is a perfect location for walking around in Amalfi and for views over the town - especially at sunset. The staff here are very nice, and very helpful in getting around the Amalfi Coast. Parking is relatively easy in a large parking lot that connects to the town through a tunnel. The breakfast at the hotel is superb and stacked with delicious snacks and fruits. The pool deck is lovely as well and I spent some time on the pool deck with a drink in hand overlooking the sunset.

Nothing....it was really a nice stay. I wouldn't go in August again, as the whole coast becomes a "parking lot" - I highly recommend parking a car for the entire time you are there, and renting scooters to get around and explore. Everything is also twice as expensive as normal during August. I was happy that I didn't feel the need to do tours of Capri or Ravello, etc., as I'd done them. Tours and visits to various villas and museums were twice the price of other times.

The hotel was exactly what we wanted from a vacation. Lovely, bright room, gorgeous view, complementary prosecco in our room sipped on the terrace. Staff worked hard to meet our every need. One staff member even shared his own umbrella on a particularly rainy evening. Enjoyed delicious drinks at the bar at sunset. Turndown service with fresh water and delicious cookies. Best view in Amalfi yet close to walk everywhere. Would go back in a heartbeat. When I close my eyes I am there!

The hotel was ideal. Lovely to go during the shoulder season. Hotel made great restaurant reservations for us and booked a car for us when the ferries were not running.

Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. From the moment we entered the beautiful hotel, we were treated exceptionally. The porter greeted us by name, took our luggage to our room, where we were treated to some olives, cookies, and wine. Each night, there was turn down service, and every member on staff embodied the warm hospitality that Italians are known for. The breakfast was by far the stand out - full, delicious breakfast service with GORGEOUS views. The Amalfi Coast is beautiful, but the hotel was by far the highlight of our trip. This will be my go-to hotel in Amalfi from now on. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Here is a snippet from the email I sent the hotel after leaving the hotel. Unfortunately I couldn't fit it all here! I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback from my recent experience with the Hotel Marina Riviera. From the moment I booked the hotel in April, I knew I had made the right choice. As I was traveling internationally just myself and my 2 year old daughter, I had a lot of questions and needs. I sent the Hotel Marina Riviera no less than 40 emails with questions about flights, transportation, car seats, restaurants, swimming facilities- you name it, I asked. Not only did I always receive a prompt response (usually within 20 minutes!), but I always received a polite and super helpful response addressing all of my concerns. It was already the best customer service I had ever experienced in my life, and I wasn't even in Italy yet. Upon arriving at the hotel after a long travel day we were greeted by Costantino. I cannot say enough amazing things about Costantino. He was so welcoming and attentive, and I was shocked to learn that he and the team had taken the liberty to upgrade our room for us. As a single mom who had been looking forward to this trip for months, I was speechless. I had never experienced such generosity before. Once he showed us to our room, I was blown away at the attention to detail that went into the setup of our room. Not only had they set up a crib for my daughter, but they also included a teddy bear for her. They also put a lot of thought into what we might like upon our arrival that evening- with a bottle of wine for me and a bottle of juice for my daughter. For the remainder of our trip we had positive experiences with all members of the staff, including Roberta, Lucia, Pasquale, Vincenzo, Ernesto, Giorgio, and Raffaele- to name a few! Overall, my experience with the Hotel Marina Riviera was the best I've experienced - and I consider myself a "hotel snob".

Location was excellent - close to restaurants, shops and transportation. Water views from the breakfast terrace and room were serene. Pool was great but water was cold.

Housekeeping was very inconsistent, forgetting to replace different items each day. Decorative pillows were never placed back on the bed each day. If we were in the room during turndown service, they would just hand us everything and not turndown the sheets.

Best hotel ever! It's not even a hotel, that's the whole experience! The staff is so amazing and kind, they treat you like a part of their family, they are taking care of your stay to make it even better. Assisting you with any type of requests you might have. The location is 100 / 10. Close to the bus station (if you want to explore other cities), a minute from the sea and the beach. The rooms are clean, the bed is so comfortable. The breakfast is simply amazing! The hotel also has its own restaurant with an excellent selection of dishes. One of the important factors is the presence of a swimming pool and a bar next to it, where you can order not only drinks but also a lunch menu. The service is simply amazing!

This apt was the most magnificent place we have ever stayed in. The view was incredible and you do not need to move off the balcony! Watching Amalfi turn from day to night was so special. Beds super comfy and shower wonderful. Great staff, fabulous location across from the beach so easy for a swim. Great breakfast and dinner. Amalfi had the best food in all of our travels in Italy. Would love to come back in a few years and spend longer.
