Lovely spacious rooms, helpful kind staff, Meals were well prepared and the afternoon tea on check in was a lovely touch. View from room and outdoor bath was stunning, so special. Staff very helpful when we needed extra help to contact local onsen, they were so kind and called ahead for us so we could keep our booking on very short notice.

Cheaper to book the meal deal online when booking than request at a later date - worth having. Not too much of a problem but worth knowing during our stay it wasn't recommended to drink water from the taps in our room, so you had to collect water from a dispenser down the hall, having a spare water bottle can save a few extra trips.

Spectacular view of the river, mountains, and fall foliage. Incredible food! I did not realize the half board would would be fine dining, I was very impressed. Great wine selection, the Chablis was very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Convenient shuttle service. Excellent value!

There is no cold water tap by the open air tub, so you c a not adjust the temperature. But this was only a minor inconvenience. I still really enjoyed the open-air tub.

The room is very spacious, the facilities are brand new and clean, and the soundproofing is excellent. The private bath outside the room is fantastic; it was snowing on the day of my stay, making the snow bath very enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly to foreigners, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Although I don't know the name of the staff on that day, the service was excellent.

- great outdoor hot spring private bath overlooking the Tone river - modern facilities and building design (loved the ambience lighting) - spacious room - value for money

- shower was on the small side - when we visited in end Oct 2024 there were not a lot of nearby restaurants opened at night

the bed the onsen the room ... everything is so good and well managed. the hotel design is very stylish. food was ok, nothing outstanding but the rest was very impressive.

though the location is right in the central of Minakami, its still quite hard to find.

It’s new, the room was very clean, very spacious and functional, private onsen on the terrace was excellent, the beds were so comfortable, breakfast was nice

A very modern take on a Japanese ryokan. The balcony onsen for each room was extra special. The dinner menu was also outstanding.

It would have been nice to check in a little early when we arrived.

The facial wash is too low, maybe with a chair would be better. Meals can have more varieties

The hotel was lovely, free welcome drinks and cakes were very nice to have. We didn't have the breakfast or dinner as we wanted to eat outside but they seemed very good as well.

It’s a new hotel so facilities and rooms were amazing! The onsen is great and the dinner and breakfast package was a good deal for the price.

The hotel is close to a train line so it is very loud when trains go past
