We (42F, 43M from USA) felt this was a wonderful value for our week in Bacalar. Staff was kind and available for our requests. Pool was beautiful and clean, although not heated which was ok because the lake was gorgeous! Had the weather been warmer I’m sure the pool would be perfect. We stayed in king suite and it had plenty of room for 2 of us and felt very clean/bright/cheerful. Location was central- we parked our rental car on the street and walked everywhere for the whole week of our stay- it was so lovely! We didn’t use the kitchen at all but it was well equipped (the restaurants in Bacalar are so good, we dined out). Hotel provided all drinking water which was appreciated.

Minor complaint- Showers were sometimes not hot - seemed to be at night so maybe due to solar heating? FYI: you will hear noise from the party places in town. It didn’t bother us at all and was even less noticeable if we closed all the windows.

I loved everything about this property. It is beautiful and peaceful and very close to the lagoon, Centro, incredible restaurants, and anything you may need. It is so clean and quiet and the pool is lovely. Like a little oasis in the middle of town.The staff is so helpful and kind, and constantly ensuring you have everything you need. The kitchen in the room is well stocked with such nice little touches and the fresh drinking water provided is such a great bonus. I’ve stayed in many places and can honestly say this has been one of my favourites. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit Bacalar.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was perfect.

We had the most amazing stay here. The location was perfect - walking distance to the lagoon and centre, and next door to Mr Tacos :) The room was perfect - it was spacious, clean and it was the most well-equipped kitchen we had on our travels (we were in the Mango Suite). They even provided drinkable water and coffee. The WiFi and A/C worked well. We enjoyed having convenient access to the pool when it was too hot to walk to the lagoon. And last of all the staff were perfect - so friendly and happy to answer any questions we had. Thank you to Sonia, Marios and your team for a wonderful stay. We hope to come back soon!

Everything was perfect!

Location was close to lake and center. Larger room. Free drinking water im room. Had hot water. Nice soap. Big fridge. Kitchen had utensils to cook and coffee maker. It looks like the photos. Staff nice.

More attention to cleaniness as bed /sheets had multiple little stains. Price in area was high for no breakfast (or ticket to restaurant for breakfast). Mr.taco is next door and is loud, but shuts down at 10pm-11pm. ac & tv remotes not working on arrival- asked desk they fix ac but maybe if i noticed late wouldn’t have been around. Had i asked they’d probably change sheets but i was tired of constantly asking for things. This was a splurge to reward myself for hard work for months…. Wasnt worth the splurge to me. Sorta disappointed. Overall it’s fine

Steven the owner of the property, make you feel welcome from the second you arrive. He is the kind of host that remembers your name and help you navigate Bacalar on your own personal wishes (family friendly). The pool is amazing and again especially travelling with toddlers / kids. The room has all amenities that you need and you can always ask them for anything else. The location of the property is perfect. Close to the lagoon / restaurants and bars. Bacalar blew us away and Oasis was a big part of it. Also very peaceful and quiet at night. We enjoyed every minute and it might take a couple of years but we will come back here. Thank you Oasis :)

Just a small comment : the room was not super dark at night.

I personally loved the gardens and all the vegetation in the courtyard. The murals were another personal favourite. Everything was lush, clean and tidy, artistically influenced with murals, the pool was great, the loungers were very comfortable and made of wood not plastic, the room was well appointed and very fresh and clean. The bed and linens were comfortable also. Views from our suite, on the second floor, overlooked the beautiful gardens. The recycling systems were spot on and greatly appreciated. The staff are very friendly, speak good English, offering good advice about places to go, activities, pricing and restaurant referrals . We are planning to return

Everything went well at Oasis Bacalar, from the moment I booked my room, the staff sent me valuable information about the hotel and a 7day guide with great activities, staff is super helpful , warm and they go beyond expectations with requests for tours and general inquiries, Mario was wonderful , assisting me in all that I needed. Truly enjoyed my stay at the Colibri suite that for one person traveling is just perfect! they take care of all the small details like a tiny hair drier and a coffee/tea maker.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Large comfortable rooms, great shower and plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed, and quiet at night. I needed to wash through some things and they went out and bought a clothes line which they put up for me in my private terrace area. The staff were really friendly and gave me a map showing the best places to go. We were in a perfect location near everything. The pool area was so relaxing, I feel like I’ve been to a spa retreat I am so relaxed. This place is the best! Don’t look anywhere else, just book you won’t be disappointed.

The location is one block off the water and walking distance to the fort, main square and plenty of restaurants. We booked the studio apartment and it was great. Nice size and full refrigerator and freezer. Coffee machine came in handy to sit on the balcony in the morning and enjoy the breeze. Too cold for the pool this time of year. Our friends booked the deluxe one bedroom apartment and it had two other beds so one couple and two other adults fit nicely. It had two bathrooms too. Secure parking was a plus, very happy with our stay. The restaurant next door had music playing late but when we shut the room we didn't hear it so we slept well.

The staff of Oasis Suites was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end. The day I made my reservation I started to receive helpful info from the hotel, including a Bacalar activity guide made by the hotel. During my stay everyone was extremely friendly and always ready to answer questions. The location of the hotel is really perfect; right in the middle of Bacalar's nicest area and surrounded by great restaurants. Each time I returned from walking around town, arriving to the hotel property actually felt like entering into a little Oasis.
