It’s a camping site so the room was quite small. We visited in Spring and it was cold and raining so we didn’t enjoy the outdoor facilities, perhaps it’s much more enjoyable in the summer for a family with kids

Slightly longer check-out would be nice so we could use the pool properly before leaving (check-out times were properly indicated, so we were not surprised)

This place consists of a number of chalets surrounded by olive trees and is ideally a family place with a large communal pool and animals like goats, turkeys and chickens. Even a peacock. With parking at each chalet it is convenient for the easy short drive into the old town avoiding 24 hour parking charges. Parking at the base cable station makes the access to the old town easy. My chalet shared a wall with another behind it and conversations in the adjoining chalet were very clear especially at 02:00 in the morning. So avoid hanky panky if in a chalet with shared wall as obviously no sound proofing!

My only small issue was the inability to get a cup of tea (tea bag and a cup of hot water) after breakfast time at either the poolside cafe or restaurant/cafe. Coffee fine so a kettle would have been appreciated.

The bungalow was very nice, clean. Bathroom is super, wit lots of towels, bide, hair dryer... We loved animals at the property. We really recommend Garden Village to all, the location is 10 min away from old town (tower) - you can go there by feet. Also market and gas station are near by. We had a very nice welcome from the ladies at reception, WI-FI was working perfectly, pool was not opened yet (April the 30th).

The sofa bed vas very soft, but we only stayed one night so there was no problem.

Quiet hours, when was not allowed to enter/exit with a vehicle and it had to stay outside the complex. Expected evening animation for teenagers, but it was not present due to low number of visitors at this age.

Great facilities and the bus stops right outside the campsite. Cabins were good.

Wifi was so slow it wasn’t actually worth using, although we were busy enough that we didn’t really need it anyway so not a big problem.

Such a great find! We visited San Marino on our Interrailing trip, stayed in Garden Village for a couple of nights. Pretty much a highlight of our five week holiday! Kids loved the pool, the animals, the chalet, the play equipment. On site restaurant is great with friendly staff. Shame we couldn’t stay any longer.

For the amount I paid I got an excellent place. The room was quiet and clean, parking place on site, staff very friendly and professional. And not hard to find.

The room was a good size with a outside furniture. I was only noticing a poorer connection with the internet, but for us that was not an issue.

it’s perfectly located with supermarket, restaurants and such nearby. The centre of San Marino is approx. 10-15 min. away by car. The chalet and facilities are surrounded by nature. It’s a perfect place to relax.

The restaurant was great, very friendly staff. Food was good. Kids had fun. We had a short stay, outside of the main season. There are animals and playgrounds on site. Pool area looks like it would be fun.
