Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, assisted with trips and laundry and generally checked on us throughout our stay to ensure we had all we needed.

The location was slightly different due to the villas and bungalows being in different areas (300m difference). Hot tub didn't work on the first day but the staff fixed this for us.

Great staff which helped us arrange many things, AMAZING location right on the beach, clean modern rooms with nice design and a fantastic breakfast. Live music at night was great and it is in a beautiful part of the island, in walking distance to shops, day spas and restaurants, yet still a very chill atmosphere. We had the room with the fresh jacuzzi and it was a lovely courtyard to hang out in.

Compared to a few other places we’ve stayed, it wasn’t the best value for money, things such as the TVs not working and a few small things like that. Also it was pretty inconvenient that we couldn’t pay on card for our stay.

We absolutely loved our time at Camilla resort. Our room looked exactly like the pictures - it was very clean and cleaned thoroughly every day of our stay. The outdoor bathroom was also very nice and the shower and water were great. The staff went absolutely above and beyond during our stay to make it special - Agung and his coworkers helped me to organise a surprise for my boyfriends birthday (decorating the bed beautifully and providing and cake and the beach bungalow manager even arrived at our door and sang him happy birthday with a guitar). The whole team went above and beyond to make it special. We also had a problem with the our fast boat tickets on the last day and again Agung immediately gave us contacts to assist. I would 100% recommend Camilla Resort.

The only thing to mention was that the live music at the restaurant was quite loud and went on until about 11pm most nights. We didn’t mind too much, but worth a mention!

The Beach Bungalows and Villas with Jacuzzi are in a great location. The restaurant serves delicious food. The Camilla team is quick and efficient in handling any issues, like the ones we experienced during our stay (AC not working and electricity problems). We were promptly moved to a villa with a swimming pool, which are located around 5-10min walking to the beachside location.

The internet connection seems to be quite slow. Might be noisy in the beachfront location as sometimes there is live music.

Staff were great. Rooms were lovely and the pool great for a cold dip.

There are two different locations, we stayed in the villas next to the beach by there beach club. If you were in the villas further into the island it might have been annoying to walk for the breakfast. I ordered the pancakes which should have come with fresh fruit and a choice of chocolate or honey, it came with no fruit which made them really dry. And when I asked they said no.

We stayed at Camilla for 6 weeks in one of their villas and could not be happier. The staff are so helpful, welcoming, and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The villas we stayed in were not by the beach. Camilla has 2 locations, one by the beach and one 300m inland. The inland location we had was perfect, as this meant we were central on the island and close to everything but not in the hustle and bustle (not that there is too much of that on the island anyway). Camilla offer free bikes which makes exploring the island so easy. 2 minute ride to the north and east of the island, 5 minute ride to the south and west of the island. Our villa had a beautiful private pool and deck, outside kitchen, outside bathroom and a king sized bed. The bed was comfortable and an actual king (not 2 singles pushed together like some places do). The air conditioning was great too, very cooling. The restaurant is located at the beach location and serves a beautiful breakfast each morning. The breakfast choices were great and were always tasty. Even though it’s at the beachside location, getting there is a simple 2 minute bike ride or a 5 minute stroll. We also found the restaurant to be the best place for sunset. This might change throughout the year, but April/May while we were there, this was the perfect place. Thank you to Agung, Rin, Mario, Jordi and the entire team there, we look forward to coming back one day!

To address some of the negative reviews I have read: ‘Salt water from the showers’ – yes the water is slightly salty but it isn’t as though you are showering in seawater, it definitely isn't as salty as that. The water is ground water and you are on a small sand island, hence the slight saltiness. ‘Quality of bikes’ – the bikes are not the newest nor the best quality, however they are free! If you want a better one you can hire one elsewhere. We used them for 6 weeks and were more than happy getting to and from places on them. We loved our stay here.

The staff here are so friendly, accommodating and helpful when we first arrived the room was not as we had hoped, the private jacuzzi was dirty, the bathroom and room weren't that clean either, the door to the bathroom didn't close properly, the safe was broken. The staff kindly changed our room to one with a private pool which was very clean, comfortable and overall just great! Great position in the north of the island away from the hustle and noise of the mosque. Thanks Agung and team you really made our stay at Gili Air magical!

The breakfast is ok but nothing great, the free bikes were not well maintained and probably a bit dangerous.

Villa with private pools are always a treat. Considering the price we paid, this was an acceptable accomodation. Quite a rustic place, with holes in the joins.cool outdoor bathroom. Clean areas and pool. Staff were helpful with any requests.

A bit of a walk to find the beach and restaurants. It took a while to figure out which were the right tracks to follow. Private pool area or overly private. Can hear everything going on outside.

I have a lot of great things to say about our stay here. I don't know where to start. But with all organizations it's starts with the people! The staff here were exeptional! They did my request for the bed of flowers , cooked us great breakfast and dinner feasts. They made us feel right at home. The grilled squid and snapper made by chef yuno was amazing. 🍻🤙 Dayat , Hanafi , Mario and the others took care of us and made our stay special. The beach bungalow we stayed in is right in front of the beach so we snorkelled in the mornings. Had some really epic sunsets there also and great breakfast seaviews. 🏝 made friends with a lot of locals There's also lot of restaurants nearby and bars. They all have their own unique view of the sunsets. The local shopowners nextdoor are very friendly. Specially our friend B. They love to chat with people. Be sure to buy a lil souvenir to help the local businesses 🤙🍻 or just stop for a chat 😊 At night everyone just takes out the guitar and jams so really great experience to sing and chill. Also tried the local rice wine and palm wine. 🍻 not too mention the lombok tobacco ! Will definitely come back !!😊

The bedroom is really spacious and comfy with a nice ensuite outdoor shower and a few steps away from the restaurant and beach. The staff were super kind and keen to help us out with anything. Good vibes with live music every night. Best breakfast of our trip in Indonesia. Definitely recommend this place to stay in Gili Air.
