Spent 7 nights at the Hotel 201 (formerly known as Bojatours Hotel) and was very satisfied with the customer service received and the room facilties were "as described" on Booking.com. Especially the air conditioning - with temperatures of 30° every day this, was very welcome! Great location with only a 10 minute walk to the bus and rail station! Plenty of bars and cafes within 300 metres of hotel (recommend "Munchen Centrum" open 0700 until 2400) and only 2 minutes from hotel! Excellent food (including fantastic breakfast) and great selection of drinks all at great affordable prices! Even though Montenegro is only a small country it has a lot to offer! Trips to the seaside towns of Budvar and Kotor as, well as the "quiet sleepy town" of Herceg Novi all easily reached by direct frequent buses from Podgorica. Check out "busticket4me" on Internet to book tickets, check out times and also intermediate calling points. Possible to easily buy tickets on line but remember to print a hard copy for access to the bus. In addition, a €1 "platform ticket" is required to access buses from departure lounge at all major bus stations and try and be first in the queue to grab a front seat for some fantastic views from all sides. Seating is uncontrolled even though a particular seat number is on tickets - just board, and sit where you like! One train journey is a must!!! It's a 3 hour trip to Bijelo Polje in the North (last station before Serbian border!). Sit on the left hand side for some fantastic scenery. Only 3 trains, a, day on this route (the day train to Belgrade not resumed running after Covid!). But the 0624 departure from Podgorica definitely worth getting up for! Nothing much to see there. Train waits for 45 minutes and returns south so you can be back in Podgorica by 1pm and all for €4 each way!!!

Location was good as near centre and 10 mins to railway or bus station.. Air conditioning was great in room. Water pressure good in shower. On 1st floor was a breakfast room for making your own breakfast if wanted, not provided. Coffee machine was free. Receptionist Jana was brilliant, friendly and helpful and had a few chats with her when quiet.

Hotel was old and quite dated. Expected a kettle in room and read that all rooms have a balcony. First night room was small and no balcony. Jana on reception sorted it out following morning.

The hotel is located near the city center, in the vicinity you can find a market, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants. You can reach the city center in just a few minutes of sand. An ideal location if you don't want to waste time on transportation. The bus station is a 15-minute walk away, and the airport is about 15/20 minutes' drive away, depending on traffic congestion. The room has everything you need for your stay. the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean, which is the most important thing. The hotel staff is really wonderful and ready to help you at any moment. There is also a cafe/gallery on the second floor, a beautifully crafted place with a special artistic touch.

The staff is very polite, and we requested to see some rooms before deciding if we wanted to stay in, and the owner was happy to do so. She showed us the entire hotel with all the facilities. - the bed was really comfortable, and we had a great night sleep; - the AC saved our lives, so happy it worked so well; - they also give free coffee to anyone who stays in the hotel;

Everything was fine.

A little traffic noise from the busy road but with the windows closed and the air-conditioning on, it wasn't a problem

Unusual place you could easily walk past (and I did...). Amazingly helpful and friendly receptionist, room was a touch bizarre as it was "inside" the building with the windows opening to a void between there and the actual outside... hard to explain! Everything worked, was comfortable, would probably stop again, although I'd maybe choose somewhere more central (it's near the "old town" which isn't, really. Definitely one of the more unusual places I've stopped and none the worse for that.

The lift goes to floor 3 only if you're not good with stairs. Cash only.

I checked out late, my bad, but the hotel didn't scold me for it. The receptionist Jana is great, speaks many languages, and she even allowed me to leave my luggage after I checked out and helped me find my way in the city. Also the other girl, Maria was helpful the day before. Top customer service and good facility. Happy with my stay.

Nice, comfortable room in a good location. It has 2-3 parking spaces, and we were given one. The personnel were very kind and helpful. We asked to check in earlier than the normal time, and we were allowed to.

The room needs renovation.

Location is perfect, sitting with its back to the Old Town. Pod Volat restaurant nearby is excellent. It's an old hotel but with decent maintenance. Staff are upbeat and friendly. Good mid-price option.

The bathroom is small, and with the door opening inward it's a challenge to move in and out.

Very comfortable place to stay. The location was excellent and the staff was very friendly. They gave us good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The room was very comfortable and had a nice view towards the city and mountains.
