Our second time here, and we would definitely recommend it. Excellent accommodation, good location in a quiet area, and best of all fabulous cooked breakfast each morning. They also cater for Gluten Free diets and as I have to have GF food that was an added bonus for staying here. Our hosts made us both feel very welcome. Even the weather wasn't too bad during our stay either! 🙂

Nothing to dislike.

We loved everything. This is a very comfortable, well maintained and well furnished property. The bed in room 2 was the best we've used in any stay. Pre-ordering breakfast by ticking options on a list for each individual, allows a very extensive cooked, cold or continental breakfast to be offered at a pre-determined time slot. Jill and Andrew are efficient, freindly, hosts. Thank you both.

The breakfast table is the large table in the images. We believe we could have been sharing this table with other guests, which we would not have enjoyed. (There are three letting rooms) As it turned out, the third place setting we saw each evening had been cleared by 8:30 when we went down for breakfast, so it didn't impact us.

We loved our 3night stay at barnard house ,a beautiful well kept home which we were greeted by Jill & Andrew who do a magnificent job in making you feel welcome & at home..nothing is to much trouble & a very tasty & well presented breakfast with lots of choices.we will definitely choose barnard house again when we visit Yarmouth. Thank you again for looking after me & my wife during our stay

I really can't think of anything negative to say about this lovely guest house

Breakfast was soooooo good. Ordering what you want for breakfast and when you want it was new for us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Jill's poached eggs were superb! Jill and Andrew were absolutely lovely and very friendly. The house was situated in an ideal spot for travelling out and about. Just a few minutes to Gt Yarmouth Bus Station and you could go almost anywhere and the buses were very frequent. Also appreciated (when you wanted to use the car) was Gt Yarmouth's parking for Disabled and Blue Badge Holders as you could park in pay and display areas on the roads for nothing, so best of both worlds. The beaches at Yarmouth, Lowestoft, Gorleston are massive and ideal for anyone wishing to spend their time there. Parking was free outside the Guest House and there was never a problem with parking.

There was nothing about our stay at the Guest House or Gt Yarmouth and surrounding areas we didn't like.

Perfectly located within walking distance of the racecourse, we came for the Eastern Festival. Our host was friendly and flexible, we parked and dropped off our bags early. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Excellent choice of breakfasts.

There was nothing that we did not like.

If you like a home from home then Barnard House is it. Jill and Andrew are wonderful hosts, happy give recommendations and help on the area. Our room was beautiful and light, and the bed was comfy. It was great to also see hot chocolate on the tray in the room, don't get that in many hotels. There was plenty of choice for breakfast, which was freshly cooked in the morning.

The location was great, the hosts were absolutely brilliant and couldn't do enough for us, breakfast was fantastic. I've personally never had better. They provided everything gluten-free without prior notice as I'd forgotten to mention it, so I was very impressed. Over all a wonderful experience and I'll be going back x

Absolutely nothing

Had an enjoyable stay at Barnard House. Excellent and comfortable accommodation. The cooked breakfast was lovely and plenty of it, and Jill also got me gluten-free sausages and bread, so I was well looked after! The room was spacious and bright, and on road parking was very easy and just outside guest house in a quiet residential area.

The house is beautiful and close to all attractions. We were able to park easily on the road. The breakfast was excellent and the owners were friendly and attentive. We had a lovely short stay.

The room was very warm but there was a fan. Also we did encounter a dog briefly which unfortunately my friend is very allergic to. Otherwise it was perfect.

Breakfasts were excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our week, The proprieters were very nice people and supplied all we wanted and went out of their way to do so.

Nothing we disliked. Anything we asked for was dealt with promptly.
