Brilliant location, small room as expected but you get what you pay for. Staff very helpful and moved us to first floor as we had children and luggage.

We all got spots from bed bugs though which isn't good.

Very comfortable bed, very quiet despite being on a busy street, good water pressure in shower, clean room, lots of extra pillows and blankets supplied, excellent location and close to metro, felt safe in the surrounding area, lots of places to eat nearby at all times of the day and two mini supermarkets within 5 mins walk.

Fixtures looked like they were installed by someone who has never held a drill before, wallpaper peeling in several places, shower plughole took a while to drain. Extractor fan in the bathroom was broken so it got a bit stuffy, luckily opening large windows freshened up the room. All negatives that are rather unimportant overall.

Perfect location, walking distance to two Metro stations, near the river and two isles. It is located in a lively part of the city. The proprietor Monsieur Zeroual is friendly and helpful. He delivered an important message as soon as I walked in the door.

The only drawback is the street noise and sidewalk drilling.

The room is slightly small but was absolutely fine for what we needed for a few nights. There are a lot of stairs if you're on the top floor but I'm sure you could ask to be on a lower floor, again, wasn't a problem for us.

The rooms were worn down. For example the tiles in the bathroom were broken, the doorknob was loose, and the door made a noise when opening and closing. Things that should be easy to fix, but which aren’t.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were able to prepare milk for our baby and store our stroller in the lobby. The location is perfect, lots of nice restaurants right in the neighborhood and easy connections to all of the major sights. Our room was cleaned every day and the beds were comfortable.

The room was small and smelled old when we first entered. Some airing out helped. Being in a busy neighborhood, it was a bit loud with the window open. We could also hear guests through the walls. For the price and location, it suited our needs well! I would stay there again.

The room was big enough for my family . Location is perfect you are close to metro station line 1 this line take you to most important places in paris. To be honest this hotel for family is perfect I don't know the other rooms how they look like.

We were in the second floor the stairs is not big problem but I think when your stay in the 3,4,5 floor you will hate going up stairs after long day in paris

The gentlemen at the reception was absolutely fantastic: very nice and helpful. We traveled as a family of 4 with 2 young children, and very heavy luggage. Without asking, he changed us from the highest floor to a lower one, that was really sweet! There is no lift because this is an old and gorgeous building. The room was comfy, clean, and quiet. The bathroom was small but convenient. The hotel is a short taxi ride from Gare de Lyon, and a couple of minutes walks from metro stations Bastille and Saint Paul. There are cafes and restaurants nearby. Very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel! We will return there if we ever have to stay in Paris again!

It was in an excellent location, within walking distance of the Metro and had a lot of shops and cafes around. The room was basic but clean. It was small but suited our requirements as we did not spend much time in there. We were on the 5th floor without a lift so it was fine for us but wouldn't be ideal for the elderly or families with small children. I wanted a cheap, clean, safe place for us to sleep and leave our baggage when we were out sightseeing and Hotel Scully lived up to our requirements. It is not a romantic hotel but it is cheap with no frills

The un-suite shower room sink was blocked after the 2nd day but we didn't report it so I can't blame them for not fixing. it.
